With the rapid development of society, college students are facing the dual pressure of study and employment, which leads to an endless stream of mental health problems, and has become the focus of society, schools and families. Therefore, it is particularly important to do a good job in college students’ mental health education. College counselors are good teachers and good friends of students. They play an important guiding role in college students’ mental health education. They play an important role in improving students’ personality and mental health. This paper analyzes the advantages of college students’ psychological health education, and puts forward the effective participation strategies of college Students’ psychological health education.

With the rapid development of society and the advent of the information age, counselors in higher vocational colleges and universities are facing the double test of burnout and network security. Burnout affects counselors’ work efficacy and psychological health, while cybersecurity poses certain hazards to counselors’ occupational safety. Based on the social ecology perspective, this paper explores the measurement of burnout and puts forward corresponding countermeasure suggestions, with a view to improving the work efficiency and occupational safety of counselors in higher vocational colleges and universities, and providing useful references for the construction and management of counselor teams in higher vocational colleges and universities. This paper takes the job burnout status and network security structure of vocational college counselors as the research object, and explores its causes. Corresponding countermeasures have been proposed. This article selects 100 counselors from a vocational college in X city as the research objects. The latest version of China’s job burnout scale, Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (MBI-GS), was used to study it. The experimental results showed that in the dimension of emotional exhaustion, 55% of the subjects were mild. 40% were moderate and 5% were severe. In terms of cynicism, 65% were mild. 30% were moderate and 5% were moderate. On the “low achievement” dimension, the participants were “slightly” rated at 10%. “Moderate” was 75% and “Severe” was 15%. Across the three dimensions, the results showed that job burnout was widespread among vocational college counselors.

At present, college counselors face difficulties in carrying out online ideological and political education based on the Yi Ban platform, such as a lack of online thinking, insufficient new media literacy, and weak content innovation. Based on the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, starting from the job responsibilities of counselors, fully utilizing the platform of changing classes, and striving in four directions: improving political literacy and theoretical level, building a composite talent team, valuing the role of "opinion leaders", and adhering to the "content as the king" orientation, can provide a feasible path for comprehensively improving the quality of online ideological and political education for college students.

With the development of the new situation, the "00s" have become the mainstream college students in universities, and the "05s" are about to enter universities. The group of college students born in the 2000s has shown ideological characteristics such as high openness, strong self-esteem, strong individualism, active thinking, and weak psychological resilience, which have brought new challenges to ideological and mental health education in universities. At present, it has become a common trend for graduate students in universities to serve as part-time counselors, and the structure of university counselors is generally "a combination of full-time and part-time, with full-time as the main focus, and full-time leading and part-time". As a full-time counselor in a university, I have worked as a part-time counselor during my graduate studies. Based on my personal and practical experience as a part-time counselor, I will consider and study the impact of part-time counselors on the construction of the university counselor team.
