This research intends to find out the compliance acts based on the manufacturing industry of Bangladesh and lead to the development of the integrated theory of compliance model. There are several compliance regulations, that are separately dealt with in any manufacturing organization. These compliance regulations are handled at various ends of the organization making the process quite scattered, time-consuming, and tedious. To fix this problem, the integration of organizational compliance regulations is brought under one platform. Researchers have applied the qualitative approach with multiple case studies methodology scrutinizing the in-depth interviews and transcripts. Furthermore, the NVIVO tool has been used to analyze, where the necessary themes of the Organizational Compliance Regulations are found. Therefore, we have proposed a conceptual framework to inaugurate a standalone combined framework, which is an innovative and novel measure.
The presence of a crisis has consistently been an inherent aspect of the Supply Chain, mostly as a result of the substantial number of stakeholders involved and the intricate dynamics of their relationships. The objective of this study is to assess the potential of Big Data as a tool for planning risk management in Supply Chain crises. Specifically, it focuses on using computational analysis and modeling to quantitatively analyze financial risks. The “Web of Science—Elsevier” database was employed to fulfill the aims of this work by identifying relevant papers for the investigation. The data were inputted into VOS viewer, a software application used to construct and visualize bibliometric networks for subsequent research. Data processing indicates a significant rise in the quantity of publications and citations related to the topic over the past five years. Moreover, the study encompasses a wide variety of crisis types, with the COVID-19 pandemic being the most significant. Nevertheless, the cooperation among institutions is evidently limited. This has limited the theoretical progress of the field and may have contributed to the ambiguity in understanding the research issue.
The successful execution of large-scale infrastructure projects is essential for economic growth and societal development, but these projects are too often beset with financial risks. The main financial risks related to infrastructure projects, including cost overrun, funding uncertainty, currency fluctuation, and regulatory change are examined in this research. The study identifies and assesses the magnitude and frequency of these risks by combining surveys and analysis of financial reports. The findings show that current risk management strategies, including hedging, contingency funds, and public-private partnerships, are often unsuitable to respond to the specific needs of financial uncertainties. The research suggests the need for an all-encompassing financial risk management framework that relies on real-time data analysis and a cocktail of risk assessment tools. Additionally, the development of strategic tailored approaches to address financial risk recovery depends on proactive stakeholder engagement. This research complements the existing literature on risk management in infrastructure projects by highlighting the financial dimensions of risk management and suggesting future research on advanced financial tools and technologies. Ultimately, large-scale infrastructure project sustainability and success contribute to economic stability and societal well-being can only be achieved through effective financial risk management.
In this study, we explore the impact of contemporary bank run incidents on stock market performance, taking into consideration insured deposit concentration. Specifically, we use data from the recent downfall of the Silicon Valley Bank (SVB). By employing event study methods with the mean-adjusted return model and market models, we evaluate the cumulative abnormal returns (CARs). Our findings reveal a substantial negative CAR for all the listed companies in our sample, suggesting that the SVB crisis adversely affected stock returns. Further analysis shows an even more pronounced effect on the banking sector and that banks with a high concentration of insured deposits experienced economically and statistically less negative CARs. We also find that the response by the Treasury Department, the Federal Reserve, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and other agencies—aimed at fully safeguard all depositors—led a rebound in CARs. Our results highlight the importance of deposit insurance policy and regulatory responses in protecting the financial system during panic events.
