In order to improve the quality and efficiency of heat treatment in welds of power stations, this paper summarizes the current situation of 600 MW supercritical power plant welding site heat treatment and puts forward the improved methods and measures accordingly. The heat treatment of welding holes in the construction site Play a certain guiding role.
Considering the need to adopt more sustainable agricultural systems, it is important that sweet potato breeding programs seek to increase not only root productivity, but also the productivity and quality of branches for silage production. The objective was to evaluate the genetic divergence and the importance of traits associated with the production and quality of branch silage in sweet potato genotypes. The experiment was conducted on the JK Campus of the Federal University of Vales do Jequitinhonha and Mucuri Valleys in a randomized block design with 12 treatments and four repetitions. Twelve characteristics of branches and silage were evaluated. There was genetic variability between the genotypes, making it possible to select parents divergent for future breeding programs for silage production. The genotypes BD-54 and BD-31TO were the most divergent in relation to the others, being indicated its use in crossbreeding aiming the improvement of the culture for silage, once the high performance per se of all genotypes evaluated has already been verified in previous works. The characteristics Na, TDN and NDF were those that most contributed to the divergence.
Six Sigma is an organized and systematic method for strategic process improvement that relies on statistical and scientific methods to reduce the defect rates and achieve significant quality up-gradation. Six Sigma is also a business philosophy to improve customer satisfaction, a tool for eliminating process variation and errors and a metric of world class companies allowing for process comparisons. Six Sigma is one of the most effective advanced improvement strategies which has direct impact on operational excellence of an organization. Six Sigma may also be defined as the powerful business strategies, which have helped to improve quality initiatives in many industries around the world. With the use of Six Sigma in casting industries, rejection rate is reduced, customer satisfaction is improved and financial benefits also increased. Six Sigma management uses statistical process control to relentlessly and rigorously pursue the reduction of variation in all critical processes to achieve continuous and breakthrough improvements that impact the bottom-line and/or top-line of the organization and increase customer satisfaction. In this paper author reviewed some of the significant previous published papers and focused on the general overview of publication in casting industries.
Phytomediation is an environmentally friendly green rehabilitation technology that is often incorporated with an application to improve calcium peroxide and phytohormones required for the growth of agricultural plants with the expectation to improve the effectiveness of plant rehabilitation. This study mainly consists of two parts: (1) water culture experiment and (2) pot culture experiment. In the water culture experiment, we attempt to understand the influence of the addition of calcium peroxide, phytohormones (IAA and GA3) and a chelating agent on the growth of sunflower plants. However, in the pot culture experiment, when hormones and the chelating agent EDTA are introduced to different plant groups at the same time, if the nutrition in the water required by plants is not available, the addition of the hormone cannot negate the toxicity caused by EDTA. In terms of calcium peroxide, due to quick release of oxygen in water, this study fails to apply calcium peroxide to the water culture experiment.
When the pot culture experiment is used to examine the influence of hormones at different concentration levels on the growth of sunflowers, GA3 10-8 M is reported to have the optimal effectiveness, followed by IAA 10-8 M; IAA 10-12 M has the lowest effectiveness. According to an accumulation analysis of heavy metals at different levels, GA3 concentrates in leaves to transport nutrition in soil to leaves. This results in an excellent TF value of 2.329G of GA3 than 1.845 of the control group indicating that the addition of the hormone and chelating agent to GA3 increases the TF value and the chelating agent is beneficial to the sunflower plant. If we examine phytoattenuation ability, the one-month experiment was divided into three stages for ten days each. The concentration level of heavy metals in the soil at each stage dropped continuously while that of the control group decreased from 31.63 mg/kg to 23.96 mg/kg, GA3 from 32.09 mg/kg to 23.04 mg/kg and EDTA from 30.65 mg/kg to 25.93 mg/kg indicating the quickest growth period of the sunflowers from the formation of the bud to blossom. During the stage, the quick upward transportation of nutrition results in quick accumulation of heavy metals; the accumulated speed of heavy metals is found higher than that of directly planted plants. This study shows an improvement in the effectiveness of the addition of hormones on plant extraction and when rehabilitation is incorporated with sunflowers with the beginning bud formation, better treatment effectiveness can be reached.
With the faster pace of China’s opening to the outside world, the contacts between Chinese enterprises and Portuguese speaking countries are becoming more and more frequent. Under this trend, how to further improve the quality of Portuguese classroom teaching is related to the development of students, enterprises and the long-term development of the whole country. This paper mainly focuses on the two aspects of “the main problems existing in Portuguese classroom teaching” and “the improvement countermeasures of Portuguese classroom teaching”. Combined with the current situation of Portuguese teaching, this paper puts forward targeted reform measures, in order to further optimize the Portuguese teaching system, with “student development”, “enterprise development” and take “national development” as the ultimate goal to cultivate a large number of high-quality Portuguese talents to the society.
The study evaluated 33 accessions of groundnut in the field, consisting of 23 landraces from Nasarawa communities in Nigeria and 10 inbred lines. Assessment entailed the determination of plant survivorship, yield related parameters and pathological indices while genetic diversity study was undertaken using SSR and RAPD molecular markers. Data analysis was done on the Minitab 17.0 software. Significant variability was noted in all traits except in pod sizes, seed sizes and % infected seeds. About 33.3% of the accessions had a survival rate of ≥ 70.0% where 9/10 Inbred lines were found with overall yield (kg/ha) ranging from 4.0 ± 1.6 in Akwashiki-Doma to 516.8 ± 46.9 kg/ha in Samnut 24 × ICGV–91328. Five accessions (15.5%) had pathological indices of zero indicating no traces of any disease of any type and they included one landrace called Agric-Dazhogwa and four Inbred lines: Samnut 25 × ICGV–91317, Samnut 26 × ICGV–19324, Samnut 26 × ICGV–91328 and Samnut 26 × ICGV–91319. Coefficients of yield determination R2 by survivorship and pathological index were 50.6% and 15%, respectively. A fit model was established (Yield in kg/ha = –146 − 7.94 × Pi + 5.88 × S). Susceptibility to diseases depends on the type of variety (χ2(32) = 127.67, P = 0.00). Yield was significantly affected by BNR@30 (F = 5.47, P = 0.025, P < 0.05) and DSV@60*RUST@60 interaction effect (F = 4.39, P = 0.044, P < 0.05). The similarity coefficient ranged from 28.57 to 100 in plant morphology. Four varieties had no amplified bands with SSR primers whereas amplified bands were present only in four landraces accessions using the RAPD primer. The dendrogram generated by molecular data gave three groups where genetic similarity ranged from 41.4 to 100.0. The Inbred lines were noted for their high survivorship, good yield and disease resistance. Samnut 24 × ICGV–91328, an inbred line, had the highest yield but was susceptible to diseases. Among the landraces, Agric-Musha, Bomboyi-Dugu and Agric-Dazhogwa were selected for high survivorship and disease resistance. The selected inbred lines and landraces are valuable genetic resources that may harbour useful traits for breeding and they should be presented to the growers based on their unique agronomic values. The highest yielding inbred lines should be improved for resistance to late leaf spot diseases while the outstanding landraces should be improved for yield.
