Through the in-depth analysis of historical music, this paper reproduces the heroic spirit of the Chinese people in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, and further discusses the practical application of the music work “On Taihang Mountain” in the ideological and political education course of universities. In addition, the trend and prospect of the integration of red music and university ideological and political education are discussed, and some suggestions are given to promote the deep integration of music and ideological and political education.
