Housing is one of the most significant components of sustainable development; hence, the need to come up with sustainable housing solutions. Nevertheless, the sales of houses are steadily falling due to the unaffordability of houses to many people. Based on the expanded community acceptance model, this research examines the relationships between sustainable housing and quality of life with the moderating factors of knowledge, technology, and innovation in Shenzhen. Additionally, it aims to delineate the principal dimensions influencing quality of life. The study employs purposive sampling and gathers data from residents of Shenzhen via a Tencent-distributed survey. Analysis was conducted using Smart Partial Least Squares (PLS) 4.0. Results indicate a positive correlation between economic sustainability in housing and quality of life. Contrarily, the social and environmental aspects exhibited negligible impacts on quality of life. Knowledge, technology, and innovation were identified as significant moderators in the correlation among all three sustainable housing dimensions and quality of life. The findings are anticipated to enhance understanding of the perceived impacts of sustainable housing on quality of life in Shenzhen and elucidate the role of knowledge, technology, and innovation in fostering this development.
In recent years, the construction of Jiafeng (家风)has become an important research topic in the field of street-level governance. A systematic literature review method is used to review 504 journal articles sourced from China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI). The research overview is presented from the perspectives of overall research characteristics, highly cited literature, theoretical foundations, and research methods. The research systematically elaborates on the results of literature analysis from the perspective of the connotation and extension of Jiafeng, the practical mechanisms and related suggestions for Jiafeng construction. The research has found that the practical mechanisms of Jiafeng construction includes institutional support mechanism, theoretical consolidation mechanism, collaborative mechanism, social education mechanism, application innovation mechanism, and efficiency evaluation mechanism. On the basis of constructing a framework for the study of Jiafeng, this article provides prospects for future research: consolidating the theoretical foundation of Jiafeng construction, defining the connotation and extension of Jiafeng, refining the practical mechanism of Jiafeng construction, enriching the research methods of Jiafeng and measuring tools for governance effectiveness.
This study aims to explore the precise characteristics of the issue of bequests, not solely from a jurisprudential perspective as is common among researchers, but also by linking it to its role in community development and progress. Bequests serve multiple functions that represent the ethical and cultural objectives of Sharīʿah [the ‘Divine Legislation’], which manifest in the process of uniting members of a single society. This is achieved through their contribution to building bonds of affection and compassion among individuals. Additionally, bequests have economic dimensions that consider the interests of the needy and provide them with resources to elevate their living standards. The study also presents a comparison between the contract of bequest an inheritance contract in Islamic Sharīʿah and secular laws, particularly Western ones. This is done by examining the mechanisms employed in enforcing bequests and understanding the interests sought in each, highlighting the distinct features of Islamic Sharīʿah in its consideration of kinship and both private and public interests, aiming to clear religious liability and via promoting community development while prioritizing moral and societal values. Accordingly, this study, in its examination of the subject, seeks to investigate the essence and objectives of bequests and extract the meanings endorsed by the majority of scholars who permitted bequests to heirs, conditional upon the consent of the remaining heirs. This approach considers both the significance of maintaining harmonious familial ties, and the positive impact this has on individual and community development. This will then be compared to some methods that strictly define inheritance in certain Western societies. The researcher employed both analytical and comparative methodologies, in line with the study’s requirements, noting that the nature of the research opens horizons for understanding the approaches of non-Islamic countries regarding the issue of wills, the importance of exploring the culture of the other and its foundational references, the impact of Islamic laws on others, and how the laws upon which Islamic legislations were established have benefited from Western legal obligations. This represents an extension that goes beyond legislative codification to a cultural exchange that allows us to build intellectual communication with the other, placing this research before a fundamental problem embodied in the following question: To what extent do bequests contribute to community development? And what are the communicative dimensions that comparative legislation on bequests with the other offers us?

Malaria is an infectious disease that poses a significant global health threat, particularly to children and pregnant women. Specifically, in 2020, Rampah Village, Kutambaru sub-district, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia, reported 22 malaria cases, accounting for 84% of the local cases. This study aims to develop a malaria prevention model by leveraging community capital in Rampah Village. A mixed-method sequential explanatory approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods, was employed. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires from a sample of 200 respondents and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with Smart PLS (Partial Least Squares) software. The qualitative component utilized a phenomenological design, gathering data through interviews. Quantitative findings indicate that natural capital significantly influences malaria prevention principles. There is also a positive and significant relationship between developmental capital and malaria prevention. Cultural capital shows a positive correlation with malaria prevention, as does social capital. The qualitative phase identified cultural capital within the Karo tribe, such as ‘Rakut si Telu,’ which signifies familial bonds fostering mutual aid and respect. The results of this study are crucial for formulating policies and redesigning community-capital-based malaria prevention programs. These programs can be effectively implemented through cross-sectoral collaboration among health departments, local government, and community members. Malaria is a communicable disease threatening global health, particularly affecting children and pregnant women. In 2020, there were 229 million cases of Malaria worldwide, resulting in 409,000 deaths. In Indonesia, specifically in North Sumatra’s Langkat Regency, Kutambaru District, Rampah Village had 22 cases (84%). The purpose of this research is to formulate a Malaria prevention model using community resources in Rampah Village, Kutambaru District, Langkat Regency. The study employed a mixed-methods sequential explanatory approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data was collected through questionnaires, with 200 respondents, and structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis using smart PLS (Partial Least Squares) software. Qualitative data was gathered through interviews. The research findings showed a positive relationship between cultural modalities and Malaria prevention (p = 0.000) with a path coefficient T-value of 12.500. The cultural modality and Malaria prevention relationship were significantly positive (p = 0.000) with a path coefficient T-value of 3.603. A positive and significant correlation also exists between development modalities and Malaria prevention (p = 0.011) with a path coefficient T-value of 2.555. Qualitative research revealed the Rakut si Telu cultural modality of the Karo tribe, meaning that family-based social connections create a sense of helping and respecting one another. The Orat si Waluh cultural modality represents daily life practices in the Karo tribe as a form of community-based Malaria prevention.
