This study aimed to assess the influence of awareness and health habituation techniques, student management activities, the role of stakeholders, and the character of healthy living on health independence. The method used in this study is quantitative with descriptive test analysis techniques, partial t statistics and F test. This research was conducted in elementary schools in East Java Province, consisting of 92 elementary schools in 5 regions at East Java. Samples were taken using purposive techniques, and the number of samples was 348 people, consisting of principals, teachers and students. The results found that awareness and health habituation techniques have a significant influence on the character of healthy life of students, student management activities have a significant influence on the character of healthy life, the role of stakeholders has a significant influence on the character of healthy life, awareness and health habituation technique have a significant influence on health independence, student management activities have a significant influence on health independence, the role of stakeholders has a significant influence on health independence, the character of healthy living has a significant effect on health independence, and student management activities and the role of stakeholders have a significant effect on the character of healthy life, and have a significant impact on health independence.
Resilient marketing in hotel enterprises is a research area that has not been systematically explored. This study is based on the 4Ps theory to conduct a systematic theoretical study of resilient marketing in hotel enterprises and promote the application of resilient marketing in hotel enterprises. Data were collected from Chinese hotel employees (n = 501) through an online survey. Data were analysed using SPSS and AMOS software. confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) combined with structural equation modelling (SEM) was used to explore hotel employees’ perceptions of resilient marketing in hotel companies. The findings suggest that the concept of resilient marketing, constructed through the four dimensions of resilient products, resilient prices, resilient price, and resilient promotions, is better able to help hotel enterprises withstand crises. This study contributes to understanding how Chinese hotel enterprises use the concept of resilient marketing to withstand crises, such as positively adapting to market changes, collaboratively responding to market competition, and resisting and reversing crises situation. It has important theoretical value and practical significance for constructing a theory of resilient marketing for hotel enterprises, promoting the practical development of resilient marketing for hotel enterprises.
Today it is obvious that corporate social responsibility (CSR) is more than just a volunteer activity, it is also related to the operation of the firms and to competitive advantages. Many factors influence CSR and CSR-competitiveness relations; firm size could be the most crucial one. Originally CSR is related to large companies, although smaller firms can be active in CSR mainly in different ways with different background. Based on this idea the paper aims to explore the correlation between small and medium-sized enterprises’ (SMEs) corporate social responsibility (CSR) and competitive advantages. An interview research was conducted among thirty SMEs in a Hungarian city of Győr in 2021/22 to reveal how owner-managers interpret CSR, competitiveness and their relations. As SMEs cannot provide exact data on this topic the personal perception method was used to explore the CSR-competitiveness relation. A moderate relation was observed between CSR and competitiveness and the research revealed that different methodologies have to be applied for SMEs than large companies which results from the fact that SMEs’ CSR is less formal and lacks exact data.
Global warming is a problem that affects humanity; hence, crisis management in the face of natural events is necessary. The aim of the research was to analyze the passage of Hurricane Otis through Acapulco from the theoretical perspective of crisis management, to understand the socio-environmental, economic, and decision-making challenges. For data collection, content analysis and hemerographic review proved useful, complemented by theoretical contrastation. Findings revealed failures in communication by various government actors; the unprecedented growth of Hurricane Otis led to a flawed crisis management. Among the physical, economic, environmental, and social impacts, the latter stands out due to the humanitarian crisis overflow. It is the first time that Acapulco, despite having a tradition in risk management against hydrometeorological events, faces a hurricane of magnitude five on the Saffir-Simpson scale. Ultimately, the city was unprepared to face a category five hydrometeorological event; institutional responses were overwhelmed by the complexity of the crisis, and the community came together to improve its environment and make it habitable again.
The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between using effective information and communication technology tools and time management skills in school administrations. The study aimed specifically to identify the presence of differences in the responses of school principals towards using technology in time management after isolating the variables of gender, years of experience, and educational level. This study utilized the analytical-descriptive method to achieve its objectives. The study instrument included a questionnaire with 45 items. The study sample consisted of 190 principals from different public schools in four emirates in the UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Al-Ain). The principals were selected randomly by sending them an electronic questionnaire. The findings of the study revealed similarities in the responses of the school principals to the questionnaire on the role of information and communication technology in helping them achieve better time management.
