This research presents a comprehensive model for enhancing the road network in Thailand to achieve high efficiency in transportation. The objective is to develop a systematic approach for categorizing roads that aligns with usage demands and responsible agencies. This alignment facilitates the creation of interconnected routes, which ensure clear responsibility demarcation and foster efficient budget allocation for road maintenance. The findings suggest that a well-structured road network, combined with advanced information and communication technology, can significantly enhance the economic competitiveness of Thailand. This model not only proposes a framework for effective road classification but also outlines strategic initiatives for leveraging technology to achieve transportation efficiency and safety.
This study aimed to evaluate the impact of investors on the development of health and hospitality tourism in Kosovo. The study involved 50 investors from various hotel and healthcare companies. The guerrilla method was used for the methodology of this study. In this study, a semi-standardized instrument was used which measures the impact of investors in the development of health and hospitality tourism. The findings of this study have shown that there is a significant correlation between the investments made by investors and the development of health and hospitality tourism in Kosovo. Also, from the findings of the study, we understand that the male gender achieves a higher average of investments than the female gender in health and hotel tourism in Kosovo than the female gender. Finally, the findings of this study and the practical significance of these findings are discussed and recommendations are given regarding the findings of the study.
Resilient marketing in hotel enterprises is a research area that has not been systematically explored. This study is based on the 4Ps theory to conduct a systematic theoretical study of resilient marketing in hotel enterprises and promote the application of resilient marketing in hotel enterprises. Data were collected from Chinese hotel employees (n = 501) through an online survey. Data were analysed using SPSS and AMOS software. confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) combined with structural equation modelling (SEM) was used to explore hotel employees’ perceptions of resilient marketing in hotel companies. The findings suggest that the concept of resilient marketing, constructed through the four dimensions of resilient products, resilient prices, resilient price, and resilient promotions, is better able to help hotel enterprises withstand crises. This study contributes to understanding how Chinese hotel enterprises use the concept of resilient marketing to withstand crises, such as positively adapting to market changes, collaboratively responding to market competition, and resisting and reversing crises situation. It has important theoretical value and practical significance for constructing a theory of resilient marketing for hotel enterprises, promoting the practical development of resilient marketing for hotel enterprises.
Purpose: The major objective of this study is to measure the impact of various attributes, such as social attraction, physical attraction, and task attraction on para-social relationships. The study also seeks to measure how the para-social relationship mediates the association between the three attributes (above-mentioned) on perceived credibility and informational influence, and consumers’ intention to purchase banking products. Study design/methodology: PLS-SEM has been used as it is believed to be most suited for the study due to the multivariate non-normality in the data, and the small sample size. Data has been collected using the 5-point Likert scale from approximately 151 respondents, who were selected using the non-random sampling method based on purposive sampling coupled with convenience-based sampling. The data was collected from January 2023 to August 2023. Findings: Largely, the findings reveal that both social and physical attractions do have a positive impact on the para-social relationship, further leading to perceived credibility and informational influence. Notably, this perceived credibility and informational influence lead to consumers’ intentions to purchase banking products, albeit with the use of artificial intelligence-based chatbots and digital assistants. Originality: This is possibly among the first-ever studies extending the para-social theory for purchasing banking products and services using artificial intelligence-based chatbots and virtual assistants.
This article uses a qualitative descriptive approach, through field visits with observations and in-depth interviews. The research location chosen was a representative village in accordance with the Tourism Village classification of the Gunung Kidul Regency Tourism Office. A tourist village is a form of integration between attractions, accommodation and supporting facilities presented in a structure of community life that is integrated with applicable procedures and traditions. In line with this, the existence of tourist villages can be an alternative strategy for increasing village original income (PADes) to support poverty alleviation. Measuring the impact of tourism village innovation on increasing Village Original Income (PADes) in supporting poverty reduction can provide a complete picture of how the implementation of tourism village innovation has a significant impact on village development through increasing PADes. Gunung Kidul Regency is one of the areas that has succeeded in developing tourist villages, this can be seen from the reduction in poverty rates in the last 10 years.
UAVs, also known as unmanned aerial vehicles, have emerged as an efficient and flexible system for offering a rapid and cost-effective solution. In recent years, large-scale mapping using UAV photogrammetry has gained significant popularity and has been widely adopted in academia as well as the private sector. This study aims to investigate the technical aspects of this field, provide insights into the procedural steps involved, and present a case study conducted in Cesme, Izmir. The findings derived from the case study are thoroughly discussed, and the potential applications of UAV photogrammetry in large-scale mapping are examined. The study area is divided into 12 blocks. The flight plans and the distribution of ground control point (GCP) locations were determined based on these blocks. As a result of the data processing procedure, average GCP positional errors ranging from 1 to 18 cm have been obtained for the blocks.
