Social Services are vital for addressing adversity and safeguarding vulnerable individuals, presenting professionals with complex challenges that demand resilience, recovery, and continual learning. This study investigates Organizational Resilience within Community Social Services, focusing on strategic planning, adaptive capacity, and user perspectives. A cross-sectional study involved 534 professionals and service users from Community Social Services Centers in Spain. Centers were selected based on the characteristics of their population and the representativeness of their geographic location. The study utilized the Benchmark Resilience Tool (BRT) to evaluate Organizational Resilience and the SERVPERF questionnaire to gauge user-perceived service quality. The results demonstrate satisfactory levels of Organizational Resilience and user satisfaction, while also highlighting key areas for enhancing resilient strategies: reinforcement of personnel for thinking outside the box or in the resources available to the organization to face unexpected changes. These findings suggest the need to develop and optimize measures that improve the organization’s ability to adapt to and recover from adverse situations, ensuring a positive user experience. Emphasizing the importance of resilience in Social Services as a quality predictor, future research should explore innovative strategies to bolster Organizational Resilience. The findings emphasize the need to strengthen resilience in Social Services, enhancing practice, policy, and adaptability to support vulnerable populations.
The COVID-19 epidemic has given rise to a new situation that requires the qualification and training of teachers to operate in educational crises. Amidst the pandemic, online training has emerged as the predominant approach for delivering teacher training. The COVID-19 pandemic has created potential opportunities and challenges for online training, which may have a long-lasting impact on online training procedures in the post-pandemic era. This study aims to determine the primary potential and constraints of online training as seen by instructors. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) identified online training opportunities and challenges by examining the to-be-applied behavioral intention variables that influence trainees. These variables include individual, system, social, and organizational factors. The study has applied the Phenomenological technique to address the research issues, using the Semi-structured interview tool to get a comprehensive knowledge of the online training phenomena amongst the pandemic. A total of seven participants were selected from a list of general education teachers at the Central Education Office of the Education Department in Bisha Governorate. These people were deliberately selected because of their high frequency of completing training sessions throughout the epidemic. A series of interviews was conducted with these participants. The findings indicated that the primary prospects included both equal opportunities and digital culture within the individual factors, enrollment in training programs and variation in training programs across organizational characteristics, the use of digital material and electronic archiving within the system variables, engaging in the exchange of personal experiences, providing constructive criticism, and fostering favorable communication within the realm of social factors. However, the primary obstacles included deficiencies in digital competencies, compatibility of trainees’ attributes, and dearth of desire as per individual factors, the temporal arrangement of training programs, as well as the lack of prior preparation and preparedness within the realm of organizational factors. Other challenges included the absence of trainer assessment, limited diversity of training exercises, and technological obstacles within the system factors, and ultimately the absence of engagement with the instructor, and lack of engagement with peers are within the social variable.
An exhaustive analysis and evaluation of fertility indicators in a society including many ethnic groups might provide valuable insights into any discrepancies. This study aims to systematically analyse the fertility rates over specific periods and investigate the differences in levels and patterns between local and expatriate women in Saudi Arabia using the existing data. This analysis used data from credible sources published by the General Authority for Statistics in the Saudi census 2022. The calculation of period fertility indicators started with the most straightforward rates and advanced to more complex ones, followed by a comprehensive description of the advantages and disadvantages of each. The aim was to ascertain fluctuations in fertility rates and analyse temporal patterns. Multiple studies consistently show that the fertility rate among expats in Saudi Arabia is lower than that among Saudi native women. However, the reason for this discrepancy still needs to be discovered since the definitive effect of contraceptive techniques has yet to be confirmed. Moreover, the reproductive trends that have occurred since the early 1980s will persist, although with additional precautions in place.
In the contemporary landscape characterized by technological advancements and a progressive economic environment, the utilization of currency has undergone a paradigm shift. Despite the growing prevalence of digital currency, its adoption among the Vietnamese population faces several challenges, including limited financial literacy, concerns over security, and resistance to change from traditional cash-based transactions. This research aims to identify these challenges and propose solutions to encourage the widespread use of digital currency in Vietnam. This research adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing Likert scale questionnaires, with a dataset of 330 records. The interrelationships among variables are analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The analysis results substantiate the viability of the research model, confirming the hypotheses. The findings demonstrate a positive relationship and the significance impact of factors such as perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), perceived trust (PT), social influence (SI), openness to innovation (OI), and financial knowledge (FK) to intention to use digital currency (IUDC). Thereby aiming to inform policymakers, industry stakeholders, and the wider community, fostering a deeper understanding of consumer behavior and providing solutions to enhance the adoption of digital currency in the evolving landscape of digital finance.
Objective: Sleep-wake disorders is a common disease in children and adolescents. In recent years, there has been an increasing number of studies on the intervention of exercise therapy in sleep-wake disorders. This study aims to systematically review the development status, research frontiers, research hotspots and development trends of exercise therapy in the through bibliometric methods. Methods: The data comes from the Web of Science Core Collection database. Select all the original data from the establishment of the database to 26 April 2024. Summarize the external characteristics of the literature through Web of Science, Use Excel 2021, Origin 2021, VOS viewers 1.6.20 and Cite Space 6.3.R1 to visually analyze countries/regions, institutions, journals, authors, co-cited references and co-occurrence keywords, use the bibliometric online analysis platform (https://bibliometric.com/) to analyze the changes of keywords and extended keywords over the years. Results: We received a total of 775 publications. The works were sourced from 1429 institutions in 75 countries/regions, published in 113 journals, and written by 4332 authors. The number of publications peaked in 2012, 2018, 2019 and 2021 respectively. In the United States, Harvard University and Children (Basel) have the highest number of publications in this field. The analysis of co-cited references shows that there are three main research frontiers in this field, including 24-hour exercise behavior guidelines for children and adolescents, COVID-19 lockdown and cardiometabolic risk. Screen time, mental health, validity, depression, guidelines, stress, and mediterranean diet are still the current research hotspots in the field, and may become potential research hotspots in the future. Conclusion: The development of research in the field of exercise therapy for children and adolescents with sleep-wake disorders is relatively slow, and there is still a lack of cross-regional scientific research collaborations between countries/regions, institutions and individuals. Our research suggests that it may be a worthwhile research direction to promote the establishment of healthy lifestyle behaviors in the gathering environment of children and adolescents, formulate targeted policies for disease prevention, diagnosis and management, strictly implement preventive measures, improve the level of diagnosis, and dig deep into the precise treatment plan of diseases.
