In this paper, a new compound health drink of aloe and balsam pear was developed by using high-quality aloe and balsam pear as main raw materials and white granulated sugar and citric acid as auxiliary materials. The effects of the addition of aloe juice, balsam pear juice, white granulated sugar and citric acid on the sensory quality of the beverage were investigated and analyzed. On this basis, the orthogonal test was conducted to determine the best formula for the beverage. The results showed that the order of the factors affecting the quality of the finished product was the addition of aloe juice > white granulated sugar > citric acid > balsam pear juice; the optimal formula is 24% aloe juice, 10% balsam pear juice, 7% white granulated sugar and 0.09% citric acid and the resulting beverage was bright in color, sweet and sour with good flavor, and its physical, chemical and health indicators meet the national standards.
In this study, nano-scale microstructural evolution in 6061-T6 alloy after laser shock processing (LSP) was studied. 6061-T6 alloy plate was subjected to multiple LSP. The LSP treated area was characterized by X-ray diffraction and the microstructure of the samples was analyzed by transmission electron microscopy. Focused Ion Beam (FIB) tools were used to prepare TEM samples in precise areas. It was found that even though aluminum had high stacking fault energy, LSP yielded to formation of ultrafine grains and deformation faults such as dislocation cells, stacking faults. The stacking fault probability (PSF) was obtained in LSP-treated alloy using X-Ray diffraction. Deformation induced stacking faults lead to the peak position shifts, broadening and asymmetry of diffraction. XRD analysis and TEM observations revealed significant densities of stacking faults in LSP-treated 6061-T6 alloy. And mechanical properties of LSP-treated alloy were also determined to understand the hardening behavior with high concentration of structural defects.

Six Sigma may also be defined as the powerful business strategies, which have helped to improve quality initiatives in many industries around the world. With the use of Six Sigma in casting industries, rejection rate is reduced, customer satisfaction is improved and financial benefits also increased. Six Sigma management uses statistical process control to relentlessly and rigorously pursue the reduction of variation in all critical processes to achieve continuous and breakthrough improvements that impact the bottom-line and/or top-line of the organization and increase customer satisfaction. In this paper author reviewed some of the significant previous published papers and focused on the general overview of publication in casting industries.
Helical deep hole drilling is a process frequently used in industrial applications to produce bores with a large length to diameter ratio. For better cooling and lubrication, the deep drilling oil is fed directly into the bore hole via two internal cooling channels. Due to the inaccessibility of the cutting area, experimental investigations that provide information on the actual machining and cooling behavior are difficult to carry out. In this paper, the distribution of the deep drilling oil is investigated both experimentally and simulatively and the results are evaluated. For the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation, two different turbulence models, i.e. the RANS k-ω-SST and hybrid SAS-SST model, are used and compared. Thereby, the actual used deep drilling oil is modelled instead of using fluid dynamic parameters of water, as is often the case. With the hybrid SAS-SST model, the flow could be analyzed much better than with the RANS k-ω-SST model and thus the processes that take place during helical deep drilling could be simulated with realistic details. Both the experimental and the simulative results show that the deep drilling oil movement is almost exclusively generated by the tool rotation. At the tool’s cutting edges and in the flute, the flow velocity drops to zero for the most part, so that no efficient cooling and lubrication could take place there. In addition, cavitation bubbles form and implode, concluding in the assumption that the process heat is not adequately dissipated and the removal of chips is adversely affected, which in turn can affect the service life of the tool and the bore quality. The carried out investigations show that the application of CFD simulation is an important research instrument in machining technology and that there is still great potential in the area of tool and process optimization.
Nanotransformations of a blanket at the fair dimensional combined processing with imposing of electric field the tool in the form of untied metal granules are considered. An object of researches are the figurine details applied in aviation, the missile and space equipment and in the oil and gas industry: driving wheels and a flowing part of cases of turbo-pump units, screws, krylchatka where there are sites of variable curvature with limited access of the tool in a processing zone.It is shown that the combination in the combined process of two-component technological environments of current carrying granules and the electroconductive liquid environment given with a high speed to a processing zone allows to receive the required quality of a blanket; action of electric field from a source with the increased tension allows to create at fair dimensional processingthe required peening from blows of firm granules. It gives the chance to raise a resource and durability of responsible knots of the aerospace equipment and oil and gas equipment, to expand the field of use of the combined processing with untied granules on a detailwith the sitesnot available to processing by a profile electrode.
