This paper delves into the intricate dynamics of suburban transportation transformation within the Jakarta Metropolitan Area, with a specific focus on the evolution of the Commuter Line and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems. Utilizing spatial analysis, qualitative descriptions, and stakeholder insights, the paper unveils self-organizing dynamics. It critically examines the role of transportation infrastructure in shaping the broader landscape of urban development. Unlike a traditional approach, the paper seeks to unravel the self-organization processes embedded in transportation planning, unveiling adaptive strategies crafted to tackle the distinct challenges of suburban transportation. By using autonomy, flexibility, adaptability, and collaboration frameworks, the paper contributes to a nuanced understanding of suburban transportation dynamics, with implications for policymakers, planners, and researchers grappling with similar challenges in diverse metropolitan regions.
The dairy industry is considered one of the most needed industries in almost every country; this is due to the continuous daily demand of its different products. Nevertheless, this industry consumes large amount of water, energy and material resources, and generates large quantities of liquid and solid wastes. In the sequel, under the pressure of fulfilling the 17 sustainable development goals (17 SDGs), it is important to address the sustainability of this sector in the world and particularly in developing countries. This study aims at assessing the impact of environmental, economic and social sustainability practices on the organizational performance of dairy industry in Palestine. To this end, a quantitative-research approach, based on a questionnaire for data collection, was adopted. Data has been collected from a convenient sample of 15 dairy factories working in West Bank in Palestine during a three-month period from March to May, 2023. Inferential statistical analyses were conducted as well. The results revealed that there is a difference between the median values of environmental and economic practices. In addition, the results showed that there is a medium relationship between sustainability practices and organizational performance. However, the economic practices proved to have the strongest impact then social practices; while, there is no impact of environmental practices on organizational performance. Furthermore, the results showed that this industry consumes larger amount of water as well as it generates large amounts of wastewater that mainly discharged to the drainage system without treatment for recycling or reuse. Several sound recommendations are given at the end of this paper. It worth mentioning that there are no previous studies conducted on the dairy industry sector in Palestine about sustainability assessment.
The process management variable and the service quality variable date most prominently from the beginning of the last century, and therefore, in organizations from different parts of the world, whose search was to contribute effectively to administrative tasks, facing the challenges of constant changes and evaluations. In Peru, both variables were implemented since 2018, by technical standards, in order to contribute and improve public institutional work. Thus, the objective was to know the most outstanding characteristics of process management and service quality, using studies from different entities at the ecumenical level and revealing their main benefits of application and contribution. Furthermore, based on the systematic and methodical review of scientific articles from databases indexed to multiple journals, which are registered and organized in databases such as WOS and SCOPUS, thus theorizing their authors and perspectives. For this study, the documentary analysis technique and the data collection guide were considered as an instrument; in accordance with the PRISMA method. Finally, it is concluded that process management are methods available in an organization to provide effective results using resources efficiently, with dimensions of analysis, monitoring, and process improvements, contributing to organizational and strategic productivity; Likewise, the quality of the service is user satisfaction when judging the value of some service, dimensioning, analyzing needs, as well as evaluating, supervising and improving the service, fulfilling needs with knowledge of their expectations.
This study explores the determinants of auditor performance, focusing on the moderating role of organizational commitment within the Tangerang City Inspectorate. Employing stratified random sampling, a sample of 250 auditors was chosen to ensure diversity across experience, departmental affiliation, and roles. Quantitative analysis used SPSS to examine the relationships between auditor performance, organizational commitment, and other relevant variables. Findings indicated that organizational commitment significantly moderates the effects of various social pressures on auditor performance. This underscores the necessity for auditing organizations to foster organizational commitment to enhance auditor efficacy and uphold ethical standards. These results hold substantial implications for governance and audit quality assurance, suggesting that reinforced organizational commitment could lead to more robust auditor performance and ethical conduct within similar urban governance settings. This study contributes valuable insights into the influence of organizational dynamics on auditor behaviour and performance outcomes.
Health data governance is essential for optimal processing of data collection, sharing, and reuse. Although the World Health Organization (WHO) has proposed practical guidelines for managing health data during the pandemic, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) found that many countries still lack the use of health data for decision-making. Therefore, this research aimed to identify and assess the challenges faced by health organization in implementing health data governance from various countries based on research articles. The challenges were assessed based on key components of health data governance from practitioner and scientist perspectives. These components include stakeholder, policy, data management, organization, data governance maturity assessment, and goals. The method used followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines for collecting and reporting. Data were collected from several databases online with large repositories of academic studies, including IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, National Library of Medicine, ProQuest, Taylor and Francis Group, Scopus, and Wiley Online libraries. Based on the 41 papers reviewed, the results showed that policy was found to be the biggest challenge for health data governance. This was followed by data management such as quality, ownership, and access, as well as stakeholders and data governance organization. However, there were no challenges regarding maturity assessment and data governance goals, as the majority of research focused on implementation. Policy and policymaker awareness were identified as major components for the implementation of health data governance. To address challenges in data management and governance organization, creating committees focused on these components proved to be an effective solution. These results provided valuable recommendations for regulators and leaders in a healthcare organization to optimally implement health data governance.
