Development of technologies and innovations encouraged companies to look for and implement innovative solutions in their practice seeking not only to increase the efficiency of activity but also towards sustainability. In this context, the aim of the research is to reveal innovative solutions for the improvement of the warehousing processes towards sustainability in the case of manufacturing companies. The methodological setup consists of two steps. First, a comprehensive literature analysis was conducted seeking to reveal and present a theoretical model based on the conceptual framework on this topic. Then, a semi-structured interview was conducted with 8 managers holding managerial positions in four Lithuanian manufacturing companies. The manufacturing companies were chosen for the research due to their durable experience in the market, which use advanced warehouse management methods in their operations. Main findings showed, that innovative solutions such as Big Data Datasets, smart networks, Drones, Robots, Internet of Things and etc., are important for the efficient warehousing processes. Furthermore, it is also necessary to emphasize the benefits of implementing of innovative solutions in warehousing processes not only in economic terms, but also for solving of social and environmental issues towards sustainability. The novelty of this study lies in its dual objective of filling a theoretical gap and of drawing the attention of companies and policy makers to the importance of innovative solutions implementation in the warehousing process towards sustainability.

This study analyses the dynamic development of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) breeding in Russia, particularly examining its historical development, status, and future predictions. With the global demand for vegetable protein rising, understanding Russia’s potential contribution becomes crucial. This research provides valuable insights, offering precise data that may be unfamiliar to international researchers and the private sector. The authors trace the history of soybean selection in Russia, emphasizing its expansion from the Far East to other regions in Russia. The expansion is primarily attributed to the pioneering work of Soviet breeder V. A. Zolotnitsky and the development of the soybean variety in the Amur region in the 1930s. The study highlights the main areas of soybean variety originators, with approximately 40% of foreign varieties registered. The Krasnodar and Amur regions emerge as critical areas for breeding soybean varieties. In Russia, the highest yield potential of soybeans is in the Central Federal District. At the same time, the varieties registered in the Volga Federal District have higher oil content, and the Far Eastern Federal District has high protein content in the registered soybean varieties. The research outlines the state’s pivotal role in supporting soybean breeding and fostering a competitive market with foreign breeders. The study forecasts future soybean breeding development and the main factors that can influence the industry.
This research aims to determine the strategy of the Jakarta Provincial Government in increasing the resilience and growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) within a collaborative governance framework post-COVID-19. This study explores the effectiveness of SMEs and facilities in accessing financing and fostering collaborative partnerships between SMEs, government agencies, and financial institutions by utilizing USAID’s Theory of Change (TOC). This research uses a qualitative approach supported by in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussions to enrich the insights of SME stakeholders, large companies, and SME actors and assess the impact of their roles. The results of this research highlight the critical role of SME Cooperative Banks (SCB) in improving SMEs’ access to credit and financial services, including collaborative governance frameworks and partnerships between SMEs, government agencies, and banks, which were identified as necessary to improve policy coherence and encourage conducive SME business environment conditions. The main findings of this research underscore the importance of the SCB model, demonstrating its potential to improve SME resilience and economic sustainability. This SCB model enriches the TOC indicators introduced by USAID. The study identifies gaps in digital infrastructure and market access that hinder SME growth and recommends targeted interventions to address these challenges.
