This research aims to investigate how technological innovation influences social sustainability via the mediating role of organizational innovation and digital entrepreneurship. This investigation employed a quantitative research approach and used data from survey questionnaires based on a set of suppositions evaluated using structural equation modeling. A total of 320 respondent companies from digital provider companies in Thailand. The findings of the research expose that technological innovation has a positive effect on organizational innovation and digital entrepreneurship. Both serve as mediators in the correlation between technology innovation and social sustainability. Moreover, this research will be beneficial for businesses that are implementing new technologies and innovation, considering their role in attaining both environmental and social sustainability.
This quantitative study explores the influence of organizational culture on the turnover intentions of millennial employees within multinational corporations (MNCs) in Penang, Malaysia. As millennials increasingly comprise a substantial portion of the workforce, their turnover rates have significant implications for organizational efficacy. The research examined the relationship between key elements of organizational culture—namely employee empowerment, work-life balance, and reward systems—and millennials’ decisions to stay with or leave their employers. Data were gathered through a questionnaire distributed to 183 millennial employees in the Penang MNC sector, employing a random sampling approach and utilizing Google Forms for submission. The survey instruments were based on established scales from prior research to ensure robustness and relevance. The findings indicate that all the studied variables significantly affect turnover intentions, with employee empowerment emerging as the strongest predictor, followed by work-life balance, and then reward systems. These results underscore the critical role of organizational culture in shaping millennial turnover intentions. The study’s insights can guide MNCs in Penang to implement strategic initiatives aimed at fostering a positive work environment that emphasizes empowerment, balance, and appropriate rewards, thereby enhancing employee retention within this pivotal demographic. While this study provides detailed insights specific to the Malaysian context, its findings may serve as a preliminary reference point for MNCs in similar regional contexts, suggesting further research to explore the applicability of these insights globally.
This study focuses on the improvement strategy of information technology application ability of science education teachers and students under the background of informatization. Firstly, the current status of informatization of science education and the importance of the information technology application ability of teacher training students are analyzed. Subsequently, the promotion strategies were discussed, including curriculum design and implementation, teacher training and development, provision of practice environment and conditions, and construction of evaluation mechanisms. These strategies are expected to systematically improve the information technology application ability of teacher training students and provide effective support for the development of science education. However, these strategies also need to be tried and refined in practice to adapt to the development needs of information technology and science education.
The purpose of this study is to explore the client service experience of medicaid case managers in Korea and prepare health protection measures. The research method was in-depth interviews, and data was collected twice in total from 04 September to 06 September, 2023. The study participants were five medicaid care managers belonging to cities, counties, and districts across the country. As a result of this study, participants experienced problem behaviors such as unreasonable demands, verbal abuse and assault, a threatening environment, a passive attitude toward expressing emotions, and a defensive attitude when performing work. In addition, the participants appeared to be unaware of the organization’s management policy, the absence of a healing program for health disorders, and the follow-up management system to resolve client problem behavior. In conclusion, the organization must establish a safety and health management policy, establish a grievance handling committee, conduct safety and health education, investigate job stress and prepare countermeasures, prepare follow-up measures to protect health, and prepare a job stress relief program.
While some conflict can serve as a more sophisticated stimulus to student achievement, significant or unresolved conflict can delay or even frustrate even the best-planned curriculum. The aim of our study is to get a clear picture of the conflicts with whom and to what extent the international students studying on our campuses have conflicts that affect their performance, and how they can manage them. In our study, based on a questionnaire survey (n = 480), we revealed that the international students at our university have the most conflicts with other foreign students, and the least with Hungarians, including their teachers. On the other hand, we found that according to the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Instrument, they solve their problems by the Compromising and Accommodating style. The results obtained by detailed socio-demographic aspects show significant differences, mainly between gender, age, and country groups. Knowledge of the revealed facts and connections can offer conscious and careful solutions to understand and reduce tensions, and this can improve the understanding and management of conflict in the classroom, in collaborative projects, and even in non-teaching environments on campuses.
