Developing Asia’s infrastructure gap results from both inadequate public resources and a lack of effective channels to mobilize private resources toward desired outcomes. The public-private partnership (PPP) mechanism has evolved to fill the infrastructure gap. However, PPP projects are often at risk of becoming distressed, or worst, being terminated because of the long-term nature of contracts and the many different stakeholders involved. This paper applies survival-time hazard analysis to estimate how project-related, macroeconomic, and institutional factors affect the hazard rate of the projects. Empirical results show that government’s provision of guarantees, involvement of multilateral development banks, and existence of a dedicated PPP unit are important for a project’s success. Privately initiated proposals should be regulated and undergo competitive bidding to reduce the hazard rate of the project and the corresponding burden to the government. Economic growth leads to successful project outcomes. Improved legal and institutional environment can ensure PPP success.
In this paper, all the forests, woodlands and trees in the administrative area of Zhaoling Township in Chuzhou City of Huai'an City were collected and analyzed. The total area of the administrative area is 4852 hectares, the forest coverage rate is 22.07%, and the forest greening rate is 26.13%. This index has exceeded 20% of the forest coverage rate of the well - off society. Tree species is particularly serious. In the forest system (pure forest), the area of pure forest of poplar is accounted for 99.9% of the whole forest area. In the four tree systems, the number of poplar trees accounted for 80% of the total number of trees in the whole tree, and the total amount of poplar trees accounted for 98%. The poplar pure forest age group structure disorders, the unit area is low. The ratio of total area of poplar pure forest in Zhongling and young forests was 92.9%, and the ratio of total area of poplar pure forest and mature forest was 7.1%. The ratio of mature forest and the ratio of mature forest was 0.7%, and the proportion of each group was obviously abnormal.
Efficient access to tourist spots is necessary for enhancing the overall travel experience, especially in urban environments. This study investigates the accessibility of key tourist spots in Budapest through different transportation modes (e.g., walking, cycling, and public transport) across various time intervals. Using spatial-temporal travel time maps and detailed statistical analysis, the research highlighted significant differences in how these modes connect tourists to their attractions. Cycling stands out as the most efficient transportation option, providing rapid access to a wide range of tourist spots, while public transport ranks second. However, the study also reveals disparities in accessibility, with central areas being well-served, while outer ones, especially in the northwest, remain less accessible. These findings highlight the need for targeted transportation improvements to ensure that all areas of the city are equally reachable. The results offer valuable insights for urban planners and policymakers aiming to enhance tourism infrastructure and improve the visitor experience in Budapest.
