Green manufacturing is increasingly becoming popular, especially in lubricant manufacturing, as more environmentally friendly substitutes for mineral base oil and synthetic additives are being found among plant extracts and progress in methodologies for extraction and synthesis is being made. It has been observed that some of the important performance characteristics need enhancement, of which nanoparticle addition has been noted as one of the effective solutions. However, the concentration of the addictive that would optimised the performance characteristics of interest remains a contending area of research. The research was out to find how the concentration of green synthesized aluminum oxide nanoparticles in nano lubricants formed from selected vegetable oils influences friction and wear. A bottom-up green synthesis approach was adopted to synthesize aluminum oxide (Al2O3) from aluminum nitrate (Al(NO3)3) precursor in the presence of a plant-based reducing agent—Ipomoea pes-caprae. The synthesized Al2O3 nanoparticles were characterized using TEM and XRD and found to be mostly of spherical shape of sizes 44.73 nm. Al2O3 nanoparticles at different concentrations—0.1 wt%, 0.3 wt%, 0.5 wt%, 0.7 wt%, and 1.0 wt%—were used as additives to castor, jatropha, and palm kernel oils to formulate nano lubricants and tested alternately on a ball-on-aluminum (SAE 332) and low-carbon steel Disc Tribometer. All the vegetable-based oil nano lubricants showed a significant decrease in the coefficient of friction (CoF) and wear rate with Ball-on-(aluminum SAE 332) disc tribometer up to 0.5wt% of the nanoparticle: the best performances (eCOF = 92.29; eWR = 79.53) came from Al2O3-castor oil nano lubricant and Al2O3-palm kernel oil; afterwards, they started to increase. However, the performance indices displayed irregular behaviour for both COF and Wear Rate (WR) when tested on a ball-on-low-carbon steel Disc Tribometer.
Sport has become a fundamental socio-economic area. Currently, technological progress plays one of the most important roles in the development of sport. In the twenty-first century, innovation, and technology are significantly shaping the world of law enforcement and sports policing, and huge changes are taking place that need to be responded to. The development, spread and completion of info communication, information technology, digital technologies, and digitalization itself at an ever-faster pace than ever before are fundamentally changing all areas of the economy and society. Today there is no question that digitalization is the engine of the economy, which has an impact in all sectors, including sports and law enforcement. In the study, the authors examine the possibility of technical development in the field of sports safety. Among other things, drones, facial recognition systems and predictive analytics will be examined. The methodology used is mainly based on the analysis and examination of previous methods. The authors propose to adapt the innovative tools used at previous sports and mass events in the field of sports safety.
Life experience and moral practice are the most important ways of moral learning and moral implementation. In the teaching of lower grade morality and rule of law courses, the students are connected with the reality of life, and the teaching content is carefully designed, starting from the students' life experience and learning interests, to explore and provide time and space for students to explore and experience independently, and to guide students through exploration and learning. Interaction, experience and perception, to obtain their own emotional experience. At the same time, it deepens students' intimacy to the learning content, inspires students' curiosity, and exerts students' subjective initiative, so as to determine students' dominant position in the classroom.
Soil and groundwater remediation act has been enacted and executed since year 2000 in Taiwan. It has been ten good years till today where lots of remediation techniques progressively employed to improve Taiwan soil and groundwater resource quality. Regulatory agencies, academia, remediation consulting firms, on-site professional engineers all have contribute the proud ten years in terms of soil and groundwater clean-up contribution. However, some of technologies were un-environmental friendly even detrimental and damage to Taiwan precious soil and groundwater resources. In Article one of the current Taiwan soil and groundwater Act, it clearly stated that soil is a precious nature resources. Soil definitely is not a waste, shame on us most of current most commonly employed remediation are unlawful and merely aiming to save time and money consideration without any care to our land. Dig-and-dump and soil acid washing are damaged employed in almost every single local environment agency soil clean-up project. Lot of money, effort and time has been spent during past ten years. Most of the spending is not improving soil quality using Green approach.
The implementation of government decentralization in Indonesia is facing regulatory problems for autonomous regions’ financing sources. Therefore, attention to regional finance is increasingly needed given that autonomous regions are required to carry out various central government interests in addition to their affairs. This leads to a split of power over financing development policy by the regional government. However, this does not mean that the local government’s financial needs must be free from the central government’s intervention. This study briefly compares financing regional autonomy in Indonesia, France, Germany and Thailand. The results show that the distribution of financial resources between the central government and regional governments is inconsistent with Article 18A section 2 of Law No.1/2022. The results also show that the provisions of various sources of taxation and levy have not met the financial needs of regions in Indonesia. Financial balance in the form of Natural Resources Production Sharing Fund from various natural resources owned by regions that only share unrenewable resources such as mining excavated materials remains unequally distributed between regions that have natural resources.
