Under the background of increasing globalization, cross-cultural communication ability has become an important content in the training of international talents in higher vocational colleges. Starting with the connotation definition of cross-cultural communication abili_x005fty, this paper puts forward the principle of cultivating students ‘intercultural communication ability in the training of international talents in higher vocational colleges, and proposes that the cultivation of students’ intercultural communication ability should be implemented from three aspects: curriculum setting, practical teaching and teaching staff construction.
