Quality human resources will be formed if education focuses on improving students’ skills. Of course, the foundation of education must be quality. Qualified human resources will later be responsible for making Indonesia a good country in all fields. This study aims to examine the effect of applying the REACT learning model (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring) on learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of students of SMAN 9 KENDARI. Quantitative research method with experimental research type. The research design used was post experimental control design. The research location was at SMAN 9 KENDARI. The instruments used include learning outcomes test and critical thinking skills test. The data obtained were explained using statistical tests to see the differences between the experimental group and the control group in chemistry subjects. The results showed that the application of REACT model significantly improved students’ learning outcomes and critical thinking skills compared to conventional learning methods in chemistry subjects. The findings indicated that the REACT model was effective in improving the quality of learning and developing critical thinking skills of students of SMAN 9 KENDARI, especially in chemistry learning.
Homosexuality, as a sexual orientation, encompasses individuals who experience love and sexual desire exclusively towards individuals of the same sex. Those who identify with this sexual orientation are referred to as homosexuals. Recognizing that various sexual orientations are equally valid, it is important to understand that homosexuality is a complex phenomenon. This paper aims to shed light on the current state of homosexuality in China. It holds universal significance not only for promoting cultural diversity, protecting human rights, strengthening the legal framework, and advancing society, but also for the well-being and livelihood of this vulnerable group.
The psychological health issues of college students are related to their growth and development. Only by implementing psychological health education and maintaining the physical and mental health development of college students can the quality and effectiveness of education be systematically improved. This article briefly analyzes the current situation of psychological health of local normal university students based on their psychological characteristics, and proposes methods for implementing scientific psychological health education for college students in combination with existing problems. Objective: To explore the influencing factors of mental health and the mediating role of self-compassion between family cohesion and mental health. Method: Family Cohesion Scale, Symptom Checklist, and Self-compassion Scale were used to investigate 593 college students in Zhejiang Province. Result: Family Cohesion was negatively correlated with mental health and positively correlated with Self-compass- ion among college students; Self-compassion was negatively correlated with mental health. Self-compassion fully mediates the relationship between the two. Conclusion: The path of family cohesion is indirect, and strengthening Self-compassion education can improve the mental health level of college students.
This paper aims to explore the impact of V-Girls APP on the improvement of female college students' Health literacy and its mechanism. Using a questionnaire survey method, the survey subjects were female students from a certain university. The results showed that using the V-Girls app can significantly improve the health knowledge level, health behavior habits, and mental health status of female college students. Further analysis reveals that the impact mechanisms of V-Girls APP mainly include cognitive mechanisms, social support mechanisms, and behavioral guidance mechanisms. The results of this study provide new ways and ideas for improving female college students' Health literacy.
