This article analyses the effectiveness of humanitarian assistance in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Minawao refugee camp in Cameroon, focusing on the social pillar of sustainable humanitarian. Established in 2013 to accommodate Nigerians fleeing the violence of Boko Haram, the camp now faces growing challenges related to the sustainability of assistance. Based on a mixed methodological approach, the analysis draws on data collected from humanitarian operators, refugees and the host community. The data was collected using tools such as participant observation, individual and group interviews, questionnaire surveys, mapping, documentary review, etc. Although essential infrastructure has been put in place, the study reveals that minimum humanitarian standards are not being met in several key sectors: food security, education, sanitation, shelter provision and Non Foods Items (NFIs). The lack of financial resources, combined with insufficient involvement by the Cameroonian government, has led to a gradual erosion of social protection for refugees. Maintaining assistance on a temporary basis compromises the integration of the SDGs into humanitarian operations. The article highlights the need for a forward-looking approach by humanitarian agencies, coordination between stakeholders and the involvement of new partners, including refugees, to guarantee their well-being and the achievement of the SDGs.

In November 2018, the sample plot survey method was used to analyze the population characteristics of Lithocarpus polystachyus in the natural secondary forest with different disturbance intensity in Jianning, Fujian Province, and compile its population static life table. The results showed that the number of individuals in the population was small, but it was clustered. With the increase of interference intensity, the first and second age seedlings and young trees decreased. The population types affected by human disturbance are all lacking level V trees, and the population type belongs to primary population (N1); The undisturbed population lacks level I and II seedlings and young trees, but there are level V trees, and the population type belongs to medium decline population (S2). In general, all populations of L. polystachyus are unstable and belong to the transitional type. In the static life table, the mortality of level I and II seedlings and young trees is high, the survival rate has a small peak in level III and IV, and then the survival rate decreases rapidly, and the average life expectation of level II is the highest. It shows that artificial conservation measures and appropriate space re-lease are needed to maintain the stability of the population.
Sustainable leadership matters, spreads and lasts. It is shared responsibility, that does not unduly deplete human or financial resources, and that cares for avoids exerting negative damage on the surrounding educational and community environment. In fact, sustainability does not simply mean whether something can last. It addresses how particular initiatives can be developed without compromising the development of others in the surrounding environment, now and in the future. Sustainable leadership is one of the most valued characteristics that employers and stakeholders are looking for, especially in this new fast changing market. Having a good Leadership sense is essential for the success of a company and for its collaborative working environment. Leadership is usually linked with sustained learning, success, diversity, capacity and maintaining a continuous development of other team members and coworkers. However, various authors are debating and discussing how we define good and sustainable leadership and what we expect from a leader to do, but few of them are raising the question how we can build and create leaders?. We present in this paper an overview of leadership definition and the challenges set by this important and complex concept. We propose a vision based on four pillars to create an adequate environment to build leaders. We present and describe our perspective on what we need to provide and establish as a company or a community in order to create an effective team of leaders in the perspective of the new requirements of the market and the expectations of companies.
This paper provides new evidence on human resources management within the public sector. We explore the impact and mechanisms of the education and skills of tax inspectors on tax uncertainty using data from A-share-listed companies from 2009 to 2016. Our findings show that tax uncertainty is negatively correlated with the increase in human capital in the tax inspection bureau. That is, tax inspectors with higher levels of education and those who are certified tax agents help reduce tax uncertainty. Further analysis demonstrates that the impact of tax inspectors on tax uncertainty is most pronounced within large-scale and long-established firms.
