A failsafe network design recovering from the stressed condition against a massive supply disruption is generally useful for various applications. Water flow in plants under a tension is inherently vulnerable to an embolism, a water supply cut off, causing a death. However, the function of the network structures of leaf veins and xylem stems effectively reduces the embolism-induced failure. In this study, water transport in plants under the pressurized conditions compared to the normal physiological conditions is observed by X-ray imaing. By examining embolism-induced water supply limits in the architecturally diverse leaf and stem networks, a progressive hydraulic rule has been found: the limited flows in the selected parts of the network structures against a total fail. For a scientific explanation on nanoscale water flow dynamics occurring in plants, temporal meniscus development in the nanomembrane model system is investigated. The pressure-driven hydrodynamic transport phenomena can be explained to follow network dynamics of the modified imbibition typically occuring in nanostrutcures. This study contributes to a variety of design technologies of networked materials against the spread of flow damages under the stressed conditions.
In the process of X-ray transmission imaging, the mutual occlusion between structures will lead to the image information overlap, and the computed tomography (CT) method is often required to obtain the structure information at different depths, but with low efficiency. To address these problems, an X-ray focused on imaging algorithm based on multi-line scanning is proposed, which only requires the scene target to pass through the detection area along a straight line to extract multi-view information, and uses the optical field reconstruction theory to achieve the de-obscured reconstruction of the structure at a specified depth with high real-time. The results of multi-line scan and X-ray reconstruction of the target show that the proposed method can reconstruct the information of any specified depth layer, and it can perform fast imaging detection of the mutually occluded target structures and improve the recognition of the occluded targets, which has a good application prospect.
Innovation can be applied in every aspect of life. Similarly, innovation can support the implementation of an accountable education system and support regional competitiveness. Innovation is easy to echo, but difficult to implement. Especially with regard to the Education curriculum which is based on many teaching norms. For this reason, the independent curriculum is a bridge for students and teachers in pouring their innovative ideas through projects that link and match with the world of Education. The problem is that not all schools in Boyolali Regency dare to experiment. There are only 20 schools that seem to be making innovations from the total number of schools as many as ± 400 school units. Qualitative descriptive study method with analysis through problem trees. The result of the study is that an innovation model will be created three concepts, namely Training model, professional Development and Capability Development using problem-based learning methods, project-based learning and discovery learning.
The Universal Child Immunization Village (UCI) is a community that has successfully achieved the goal of providing Complete Basic Immunization (CBI) to infants before they reach one year of age. Based on data from the 2018 Basic Health Research, Complete Basic Immunization (CBI) coverage reached 57.9%. In contrast, 32.9% of the population received incomplete immunizations, while a small portion, namely 9.2%, did not receive any immunizations at all. This research aims to understand the implementation of government regulations regarding immunization implementation in the working area of Tarempa Community Health Center, Anambas Islands Regency. In this study, the author uses a qualitative socio-legal method. The snowball sampling technique was used to collect research samples. The samples in this study are parents of infants in South Tarempa Village and East Coastal Village, healthcare workers in the working area of Tarempa Community Health Center, and the PPKB Department of Health who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Out of 9 primary informants, the coverage of immunization implementation in the working area of Tarempa Community Health Center primarily did not meet the requirements with seven informants (77.8%) and met the criteria with two respondents (22.2%). The assessment of the role of healthcare workers as customers, communicators, motivators, facilitators, and counselors was positively evaluated based on good criteria. Parental refusal of immunization and the lack of regulations from local governments are inhibiting factors in implementing immunization programs.
Entrepreneurial intentions, considered to be the best predictor of entrepreneurial behaviour, have attracted extensive attention among academics, practitioners, and policymakers. This study examines the mediating role of the theory of planned behaviour between university students’ proactive personality, entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial opportunities, and entrepreneurial intentions. The results of this study showed that both attitudes toward entrepreneurship and perceived behavioural control mediated these relationships, except that perceived behavioural control did not mediate the effect of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intentions, and subject norm did not mediate any relationship. Lastly, this study guides universities, policymakers and practitioners to fully focus on developing attitude entrepreneurship and perceived behaviour control through education and training among graduates and employees. Suppose there is a presence of good entrepreneurial opportunities. In that case, they will form stronger intentions to start new businesses and expand their businesses to drive socio-economic growth, innovation and job creation among graduates.
