In this paper, we will provide an extensive analysis of how Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) could be applied when handling Supply Chain Management (SCM). The paper focuses on how GenAI is more relevant in industries, and for instance, SCM where it is employed in tasks such as predicting when machines are due for a check-up, man-robot collaboration, and responsiveness. The study aims to answer two main questions: (1) What prospects can be identified when the tools of GenAI are applied in SCM? Secondly, it aims to examine the following question: (2) what difficulties may be encountered when implementing GenAI in SCM? This paper assesses studies published in academic databases and applies a structured analytical framework to explore GenAI technology in SCM. It looks at how GenAI is deployed within SCM and the challenges that have been encountered, in addition to the ethics. Moreover, this paper also discusses the problems that AI can pose once used in SCM, for instance, the quality of data used, and the ethical concerns that come with, the use of AI in SCM. A grasp of the specifics of how GenAI operates as well as how to implement it successfully in the supply chain is essential in assessing the performance of this relatively new technology as well as prognosticating the future of generation AI in supply chain planning.
Puppetry is one of the traditional folk art forms with a long history in China.Puppetry is one of the traditional folk art forms with a long history in China. After it was transmitted to the Gaozhou Prefecture of Guangdong by the Fujian Zhangzhou Puppet Show during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, it gradually took root in the local culture of Guangdong, and the Gaozhou Puppet Theatre was born as a result. Under the radiant influence of Cantonese Opera, the number one theatre in Lingnan, in the western part of Guangdong, the Gaozhou Puppet Theatre has been passed down through the generations, and has used the Cantonese Opera cantata, an element of Cantonese Opera that is the essence of the art, in its unique puppetry accent. Nowadays, when many "non-heritage" cultures are facing difficulties in inheritance and development, it is especially crucial for the puppet theatre of Gaozhou to be able to use the elements of Cantonese Opera's singing in the new era, so as to make Gaozhou Puppet Theatre a new life and make the public appreciate the art again by incorporating the elements of Cantonese Opera's singing.
The H3N2 influenza virus is spiking dramatically, which is a major concern worldwide and in India. The multifunctional hetero-trimer influenza virus RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRP) is involved in the generation of viral mRNA and is crucial for viral infectivity, which is directly related to the virus’s ability to survive. The goal of the current work was to use molecular docking to determine how the RdRP protein might be affected by powerful bioactive chemicals found in Calotropis gigantia latex. By applying CB-dock 2 analysis and 2D interactions, an in-silico docking study was conducted using a GC-FID (gas chromatography with flame-ionization detection) based composition profile. Tocospiro A (15%), Amyrin (7%), and Gombasterol A were found by GC-FID to be the main phytocompounds in the latex of Calotropis gigantia. The docking result showed that ligands were effectively bound to RdRP. According to interaction studies, RdRP/ligand complexes create hydrogen bonds, van der Waals forces, pi-alkyl bonds, alkyl bonds, and pi-Sigma bonds. Therefore, it was suggested that Calotropis gigantia latex may represent a possible herbal remedy to attenuate H3N2 infections based on the above findings of the fragrance profile and docking.
Herein, we report a facile preparation of super-hydrophilic sand by coating the sand particles with cross-linked polyacrylamide (PAM) hydrogels for enhanced water absorption and controlled water release aimed at desert agriculture. To prepare the sample, 4 wt% of aqueous PAM solution is mixed with organic cross-linkers of hydroquinone (HQ) and hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) in a 1:1 weight ratio and aqueous potassium chloride (KCl) solution. A specific amount of the above solution is added to the sand, well mixed, and subsequently cured at 150 °C for 8 h. The prepared super-hydrophilic sands were characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) for chemical composition and X-ray diffraction (XRD) for successful polymer coating onto the sand. The water storage for the samples was studied by absorption kinetics at various temperature conditions, and extended water release was studied by water desorption kinetics. The water swelling ratio for the super-hydrophilic sand has reached a maximum of 900% (9 times its weight) at 80 °C within 1 h. The desorption kinetics of the samples showed that the water can be stored for up to a maximum of 3 days. Therefore, super-hydrophilic sand particles were successfully prepared by coating them with PAM hydrogels, which have great potential to be used in sustainable desert agriculture.
Health data governance is essential for optimal processing of data collection, sharing, and reuse. Although the World Health Organization (WHO) has proposed practical guidelines for managing health data during the pandemic, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) found that many countries still lack the use of health data for decision-making. Therefore, this research aimed to identify and assess the challenges faced by health organization in implementing health data governance from various countries based on research articles. The challenges were assessed based on key components of health data governance from practitioner and scientist perspectives. These components include stakeholder, policy, data management, organization, data governance maturity assessment, and goals. The method used followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines for collecting and reporting. Data were collected from several databases online with large repositories of academic studies, including IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, National Library of Medicine, ProQuest, Taylor and Francis Group, Scopus, and Wiley Online libraries. Based on the 41 papers reviewed, the results showed that policy was found to be the biggest challenge for health data governance. This was followed by data management such as quality, ownership, and access, as well as stakeholders and data governance organization. However, there were no challenges regarding maturity assessment and data governance goals, as the majority of research focused on implementation. Policy and policymaker awareness were identified as major components for the implementation of health data governance. To address challenges in data management and governance organization, creating committees focused on these components proved to be an effective solution. These results provided valuable recommendations for regulators and leaders in a healthcare organization to optimally implement health data governance.
The effects of climate change are already being felt, including the failure to harvest several agricultural products. On the other hand, peatland requires good management because it is a high carbon store and is vulnerable as a contributor to high emissions if it catches fire. This study aims to determine the potential for livelihood options through land management with an agroforestry pattern in peatlands. The methods used are field observation and in-depth interviews. The research location is in Kuburaya Regency, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. Several land use scenarios are presented using additional secondary data. The results show that agroforestry provides more livelihood options than monoculture farming or wood. The economic contribution is very important so that people reduce slash-and-burn activities that can increase carbon emissions and threaten the sustainability of peatland.
