This study evaluates the health and sustainability of higher education systems in nine countries: the USA, UK, Australia, Germany, Canada, China, Brazil, India, and South Africa. Using a multi-level analysis model and principal component analysis (PCA), nine key factors—such as international student numbers, academic levels, and graduate employment rates—were identified, capturing over 90% of the cumulative impact on higher education systems. India, scoring 6.2036 initially, shows significant room for improvement. The study proposes policies to increase graduate employment, promote international faculty collaboration, and enhance India’s educational expenditure, which surpasses 9.8% of GDP. Post-policy simulations suggest India’s score could rise to 8.7432. The paper also addresses the impact of COVID-19 on global education, recommending a hybrid model and increased graduate enrollment in China to reduce unemployment by 5.4%. The research aims to guide sustainable development in higher education globally.
With the development of the times and changes in the environment of traditional martial arts, Choi Lei Fut (a Chinese martial arts system), a Chinese state-level intangible cultural heritage, is facing many difficulties in its inheritance and sustainable development. Especially in the context of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control measures, the sustainable development of Choi Lei Fut is facing increasingly serious challenges. In order to understand the current situation of Choi Lei Fut’s survival and development in the new era, and to enhance the momentum and vitality of its sustainable development, this study combines questionnaire survey and field interviews to investigate and analyze the current situation. Based on this, it proposes strategies to promote the sustainable development of Choi Lei Fut. This study will not only provide methodological reference for the inheritance and development of Choi Lei Fut but also offer insights for the inheritance and sustainable development of other Chinese martial arts gyms and even martial arts practices elsewhere.
With the wide application of the Internet and smart systems, data centers (DCs) have become a hot spot of global concern. The energy saving for data centers is at the core of the related works. The thermal performance of a data center directly affects its total energy consumption, as cooling consumption accounts for nearly 50% of total energy consumption. Superior power distribution is a reliable method to improve the thermal performance of DCs. Therefore, analyzing the effects of different power distribution on thermal performance is a challenge for DCs. This paper analyzes the thermal performance numerically and experimentally in DCs with different power distribution. First, it uses Fluent simulate the temperature distribution and flow field distribution in the room, taking the cloud computing room as the research object. Then, it summarizes a formula based on the computing power distribution in a certain range by the numerical and experimental analysis. Finally, it calculates an optimal cooling power by analyzing the cooling power distribution. The results shows that it reduces the maximum temperature difference between the highest temperature of the cabinet from 5-7k to within 1.2k. In addition, the cooling energy consumption is reduced by more than 5%.
The fresh dried pollen of grape and seedless grape varieties were used as the research material. Each cultivar was stored at room temperature, 5 C, 0 C, -18 C and -40 C respectively. Sucrose 200g / L + boric acid 50mg / L + agar 8g / L as the nutrient substrate, and the comparative study on the germination and culture of the nuclear breed and the seedless cultivar. The results showed that the pollen viability decreased with the increase of storage time at different temperatures. The pollen viability decreased at -18 C and -40 , and the pollen viability decreased at the same temperature The There was a significant difference in pollen viability between different cultivars at the beginning of storage, and the pollen viability of the kernel breed was higher than that of the seedless grape.
Good health and well-being are embedded in the 3rd Goal amongst the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The primary objective of this research was to identify the most critical economic, social, and administrative barriers to implementing the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. A sequential exploratory design and case study technique were used, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods. In the first stage, in-depth interviews with 50 key officials were conducted to identify the most critical barriers to the EPI program. A quantitative analysis was then performed based on the results obtained from qualitative analysis, and rank orders of barriers were received from the same health department experts. The results indicate that twenty-eight barriers can cause implementation problems for this program. Still, the ten barriers that gained the maximum hits are the most important barriers, which include Shortage of vaccinators, mismanagement of vaccines’ cold chain, biometric android application, ice-lined refrigerators, communication gap, inadequate legislation of EPI program, capacity building issues with EPI staff, Misconceptions about EPI program, lack of awareness of the parents and community, refusal cases and inadequate cooperation of lady health workers (LHWs). Coordinated efforts of the government and the public are highly recommended to address these barriers.
Telecommunications markets have a giant impact on countries’ economies. An example of this is the great potential offered by the internet service, which allows growth in various aspects such as productivity, education, health, and connectivity. A few companies dominate telecommunications markets, so there is a high market concentrations risk. In that sense, the state has to generate strong regulation in the sector. Models for measuring competition in telecommunications markets allow the state to monitor the concentration performance in these markets. The prediction of competition in the telecommunications market based on artificial intelligence techniques would allow the state to anticipate the necessary controls to regulate the market and avoid monopolies and oligopolies. This work’s added value and the main objective is to measure the current concentration level in the Colombian telecommunications market, this allows for competitive analysis in order to propose effective strategies and methodologies to improve competition in the future of Colombian telecommunications services operators. The main result obtained in the research is the existence of concentration in the Colombian telecommunications market.
