This paper applies Nida's dynamic equivalence theory to the appreciation of Hardy's masterpiece Tess of the D 'Urbervilles, discusses the translation of the meaning and spirit of the source text in terms of dialects, idioms and annotations from the perspective of functional equivalence theory, and further explores whether the spirit and value felt by the readers of the target text is dynamically equivalent to that felt by the readers of the source text. Finally, this paper shows the clever application of this theory and the determination to promote cultural exchange through Tess of the D 'Urbervilles.

Japan’s investment in the domestic construction industry has fallen to less than half its peak in 1992. Given the country’s declining population, Japanese construction companies must go global to remain profitable. To what extent the Japanese government and Japanese companies can contribute to meeting the growing infrastructure needs in the region is unclear as Japanese companies have long been operating primarily in Japan. The Japanese government has in recent years passed a series of new laws that encourage private sector participation in financing, building and operating public infrastructure. Through involvement in such public projects, Japanese companies have developed the skills and technologies to build a variety of infrastructures that are resilient to natural disasters and adaptable to various geographical conditions and social and economic development. But the major challenge for Japanese companies is to transform their business model drastically from one that relies on the domestic market to one that contributes to the social and economic development of third countries.

This study presents a comprehensive two-dimensional numerical analysis of natural laminar convection within a square cavity containing two circular heat sources, which simulate electric cables generating heat due to Joule heating. This scenario is particularly relevant in aeronautics, where excessive heating of electrical installations can lead to significant material and human safety risks. The primary objective of this research is to identify the optimal spacing between the two heat sources to mitigate the risk of overheating and ensure the safe operation of the electrical installation. To achieve this, various configurations were analyzed by adjusting the distance between the heat sources while also varying the Rayleigh number across a range from 10³ to 10⁶. The governing equations for the fluid flow and heat transfer were solved using a FORTRAN-based numerical code employing the finite volume method. The results indicate that the heat transfer characteristics within the cavity are significantly influenced by both the distance between the heat sources and the Rayleigh number. The analysis revealed that the average Nusselt number (Nu_avg) peaked at a value of 14.69 when the distance between the heat sources was set at 0.7 units and the Rayleigh number was at 10⁶. This finding suggests that maintaining this specific spacing between the electrical cables can optimize heat dissipation and enhance the safety of the installation. In conclusion, the study recommends adopting a spacing of 0.7 units between the electrical cables to ensure optimal thermal performance and minimize the risk of overheating, thereby safeguarding both the materials and personnel involved in aeronautical operations.

In the new era, the Yiban platform has become an important carrier for college counselors to carry out online ideological and political education for college students. Utilizing the Yiban platform to improve the effectiveness of online ideological and political education is a practical need for ideological and political education in universities, but there is a deviation between its actual construction and the expected effect. At present, college counselors face difficulties in carrying out online ideological and political education based on the Yi Ban platform, such as a lack of online thinking, insufficient new media literacy, and weak content innovation. Based on the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, starting from the job responsibilities of counselors, fully utilizing the platform of changing classes, and striving in four directions: improving political literacy and theoretical level, building a composite talent team, valuing the role of "opinion leaders", and adhering to the "content as the king" orientation, can provide a feasible path for comprehensively improving the quality of online ideological and political education for college students.

The number of domestic studies on "variational pragmatics" (Ren Yuxin, Chen Xinren, 2012) is very limited. The research scopes are also relatively limited, which has not yet attracted the attention of more researchers. Therefore, based on this book The Routledge Handbook of Second Language Acquisition and Pragmatics, this paper aims to sort out and summarize the development trend of pragmatics from the meaning, goal and theory of variational pragmatics, and then put forward suggestions for future research.
