The challenge of rural electrification has become more challenging today than ever before. Grid-connected and off-grid microgrid systems are playing a very important role in this problem. Examining each component’s ideal size, facility system reactions, and other microgrid analyses, this paper proposes the design and implementation of an off-grid hybrid microgrid in Chittagong and Faridpur with various load dispatch strategies. The hybrid microgrids with a load of 23.31 kW and the following five dispatch algorithms have been optimized: (i) load following, (ii) HOMER predictive, (iii) combined dispatch, (iv) generator order, and (v) cycle charging dispatch approach. The proposed microgrids have been optimized to reduce the net present cost, CO2 emissions, and levelized cost of energy. All five dispatch strategies for the two microgrids have been analyzed in HOMER Pro. Power system reactions and feasibility analyses of microgrids have been performed using ETAP simulation software. For both the considered locations, the results propound that load-following is the outperforming approach, which has the lowest energy cost of $0.1728/kWh, operational cost of $2944.13, present cost of $127,528.10, and CO2 emission of 2746 kg/year for the Chittagong microgrid and the lowest energy cost of $0.2030/kWh, operating cost of $3530.34, present cost of 149,287.30, and CO2 emission of 3256 kg/year for the Faridpur microgrid with a steady reaction of the power system.
In order to improve the quality and efficiency of heat treatment in welds of power stations, this paper summarizes the current situation of 600 MW supercritical power plant welding site heat treatment and puts forward the improved methods and measures accordingly. The heat treatment of welding holes in the construction site Play a certain guiding role.
When power is exercised, it results in political behavior in organizations. Excessively held organizational politics can hurt an organization and its members though some consider wisely used political behavior as positive. This study was conducted at Wolaita Sodo Polytechnic College (WSPTC) to investigate the effect of power and political dynamism on employee job satisfaction. Cross-sectional survey design was used to collect data from stratified, randomly selected 146 informants. The Rahim Leader Power Inventory (RLPI), Interpersonal Power Inventory (IPI), Perception of Organizational Politics (POP), and Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) were employed to collect data. Descriptive and inferential statistical analyses were made using statistical packages (SPSS version 23). The findings revealed that when managers legitimate, coercive, and reward power bases are higher, then organizational politics becomes higher. Power concentration at higher positions results in increased organizational politics than when it was shared. Regression analysis uncovered that 47% (R-squared 0.468) of variations in job satisfaction were explained by POP and power dynamics. Hence, it is recommended that having power sharing, empowering subordinates, and moderate political maneuvering in the use of power and politics will be helpful in maintaining constructive relationships and job satisfaction.
This review discusses the significant progress made in the development of CNT/GO-based biosensors for disease biomarker detection. It highlights the specific applications of CNT/GO-based biosensors in the detection of various disease biomarkers, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, infectious diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders. The superior performance of these biosensors, such as their high sensitivity, low detection limits, and real-time monitoring capabilities, makes them highly promising for early disease diagnosis. Moreover, the challenges and future directions in the field of CNT/GO-based biosensors are discussed, focusing on the need for standardization, scalability, and commercialization of these biosensing platforms. In conclusion, CNT/GO-based biosensors have demonstrated immense potential in the field of disease biomarker detection, offering a promising approach towards early diagnosis. Continued research and development in this area hold great promise for advancing personalized medicine and improving patient outcomes.
