Over the past few years, there has been a consistent rise in the popularity of bodybuilding. This study did a bibliometric analysis to offer a systematic overview and facilitate researchers in obtaining comprehensive insights on the peculiarities of bodybuilding research. This study utilized the bibliometric analysis program Bibliometrix to identify 940 papers on bodybuilding from the Web of Science database. The publications were selected from the years 1976 to 2024 and were used for the analysis. This study provides a thorough and detailed analysis of bodybuilding research using visual representations. It includes information on the frequency of publications, the nations that have had the most impact on bodybuilding research (including institutions, sources, and authors), and notable areas of focus within the field. Furthermore, the research collaboration among nations (regions), organizations, and authors is depicted based on a set of collaboration studies. The bibliometric study of current literature offers useful and groundbreaking sources for academics and practitioners in the field of bodybuilding-related studies.
The need for forest products, agricultural expansion, and dependency on biomass for the household energy source has largely influenced Ethiopia’s forest resources. Consequently, the country lost its forest resources to less than 6% until the millennium. In this study, quantitative and qualitative historical data analysis was employed to understand the socioeconomic benefits of large dam construction to Ethiopia and downstream countries. Moreover, remotely sensed data was also used to analyze the trends of vegetation cover change in the Nile catchment since the commencement of the dam; focusing on areas where there are high settlement and urban areas. It was identified that Ethiopia has one of the lowest electricity consumption per capita in Africa; about 91% of the source of household energy supply depends on fuelwood today and more than 55.7% of the population does not have access to electricity. The normalized difference vegetation index result shows an increment of vegetation area in the Nile catchment and a reduction of no vegetation area from 2011–2021 by 37.1%; which is directly related to the protection of the dam catchment for its sustainability in the last decade. The hydroelectric dam construction has prospects of multi-benefit to Ethiopia and downstream countries either through the direct benefit of hydropower energy production, related socioeconomic values, and reducing risks of destructive flood from Ethiopian highlands. Generally, it explains the reason why to not say ‘No’ to the reservoir as it is an ever more vital tool for fulfilling growing energy demand and supporting ecological stability.
One of the main concerns in computer science today is integrating the Internet of Things (IoT) into manufacturing processes. This trend could influence a country’s strategy and policy development regarding technological infrastructure. However, despite extensive research on the implementation of IoT in manufacturing, no study has yet focused on the growing research interest in this topic. Based on 2487 papers indexed in the Scopus database between 2013 and 2023, this bibliometric review examines current trends and patterns in IoT research in manufacturing. The literature was selected and screened using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 guidelines. Data visualization was created using VOSviewer. The results show a notable increase in research papers centered around IoT in manufacturing. The findings reveal patterns and trends in IoT research publications in the manufacturing sector, author collaboration networks, country collaboration networks, and both established and newly trending topics surrounding IoT in the manufacturing industry.
Given the multifaceted nature of crime trends shaped by a range of social, economic, and demographic variables, grasping the fundamental drivers behind crime patterns is pivotal for crafting effective crime deterrence methodologies. This investigation adopted a systematic literature review technique to distill thirty key factors from a corpus of one hundred scholarly articles. Utilizing the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) for diminishing dimensionality facilitated a nuanced understanding of the determinants deemed essential in influencing crime trends. The findings highlight the necessity of tackling issues such as inequality, educational deficits, poverty, unemployment, insufficient parental guidance, and peer influence in the realm of crime prevention efforts. Such knowledge empowers policymakers and law enforcement bodies to optimize resource allocation and roll out interventions grounded in empirical evidence, thereby fostering a safer and more secure societal environment.
Vegetable production is an important sector of economy for farmers in Nepal. The analysis was carried out to explore the trends in vegetable production sector in Nepal along with the recent trend of some major vegetables in terms of area, production and yield. The time series data from 1977/78 to 2016/17 (40 years) of vegetables production and 5 years data (2011/12 - 2015/16) of major vegetables were collected from reliable source and analysis was done through Microsoft Excel. The results show that between 1977/78 and 2016/17 the area under vegetables cultivation has jumped by 222.8% while production is increased by 728.21% and productivity is increased by 156.6% during this course. The result also reveals that during the period of 5 years (2011/12 - 2015/16), solanaceous and cruciferous vegetables has an increasing trend in area, production and yield except for the area under cultivation for eggplant (declined by 5.2%) and for radish (declined by 6.0%) respectively while cucurbitaceous vegetables has increasing trend in area and production but an declining trend in yield except for the yield of cucumber (increased by 15.8%). However, the trend of other major vegetables is seen highly fluctuating over the years.
