This study aims at predicting the interrelationship between among Chat GPT with its six dimensions, tourist’s satisfaction and Chat GPT usage intention as perceived by tourist, and as well as to examine the moderating effect of traditional tour operator services on the relationships between all the variables. Data were collected from 624 tourists. The study hypotheses were tested and the direct and indirect effects between variables were examined using the PLS-SEM. The SEM results showed that Chat GPT’s six dimensions have a positive and significant direct impact on tourist’s satisfaction, and emphasis the moderating role of Traditional Tour Operator Services “TTOS” on the relationship between GPT’s six dimensions and “TS”, and on the relationship between ‘TS” and Chat GPT usage intention. These findings yield valuable insights for everyone interested in the use of IT in the tourism industry, and provide effective strategies for optimizing the use of technological applications by traditional tour operators.
Measuring the performance of healthcare organizations has become a crucial yet challenging task, which is the focus of this study. The paper’s primary goal is to identify the key factors that shape healthcare organizations’ performance management systems in Serbia, which can serve as useful guidelines for implementing sustainable solutions. Additionally, the aim is to emphasize the importance of a broad implementation of performance measurement systems to facilitate strategy implementation and enhance organizational effectiveness. The empirical research involved an online survey of 280 respondents, including managers, executives, and operational staff from both private and public healthcare organizations in Serbia. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS 20. The study identifies key challenges, including the lack of a developed performance measurement system, weak support from information and management systems for performance improvement, and an organizational structure that does not support performance enhancement. Furthermore, it has been found that a deeper understanding of the essence of measurement significantly contributes to identifying problems in its application in the healthcare sector. It was also observed that the more challenges identified in the measurement process, the less favourable the perception of the flexibility and adaptability of the system.
Accounting can be regulated using either a principle-based or rule-based approach; however, profit determined for taxes purposes is invariably subject to rigorous regulation, permitting minimal flexibility. Entities are strongly motivated to utilize same or highly similar tax figures for financial accounting and tax purposes, as it reduces costs and effort. Nevertheless, this form of tax-book conformity frequently results in decreased financial reporting quality, as proven by prior studies. In numerous jurisdictions, governments are developing simplified accounting systems that utilize figures established by accounting regulations, as this facilitates accurate tax calculations and enables entities to optimize efforts and expenses in preparing financial statements. However, these systems result in lower-quality financial statements, which consequently reduce transparency and makes decision-making. more complicated and less accurate. This study examines a specific example from Hungary where a simplified accounting system was introduced in conformity with tax regulations; nonetheless, the principle of true and fair view was replaced by standardization and uniformity. The research investigates if this tradeoff is acceptable as organizations utilizing this legislation (qualifying entities) are those whose scale suggests that such simplification will not significantly compromise public interest. The study reveals that in Hungary, smaller entities typically do not make significant changes to determine their taxable earnings. The introduction of this system is justifiable given the regulations available for smaller organizations.
