This study explores the early travelers to Petra, Jordan, during the 20th century. To gain insights into the evolution of early travel experiences to Petra during this specific period, the researchers utilized narrative analysis and conducted in-depth interviews with 14 elderly inhabitants of Wadi Musa who resided in the area at that time. These interviews provided valuable information and served as a basis for visually representing the primary routes that emerged from the participants’ narratives. This study delves into the accessibility of early travelers to Petra in the 20th century by creating a comprehensive map that outlines the trails, byways, and roads used by these travelers to reach Petra. The study’s findings also revolve around the identified stages derived from the data gathered through these interviews.
The aim of this study was to analyze scientific production on accounting strategies for the management of sporting events over the last 20 years. The methodology used was mixed, combining the quantitative perspective of bibliometric analysis and the qualitative perspective of the case study, to deepen the analysis of the data set. Using bibliometrics, the number of scientific papers on this topic was quantified. For the study, 853 papers from Scopus and Google Scholar were considered that met the inclusion criteria in terms of relevance and keywords in English (accounting strategies, financial strategies and sporting events). Between 2021 and 2024, scientific production increased significantly (n = 376; 44.1%), with the United States being the largest contributor, with 21.7%. In addition, Plos One was the most important source, with 22 publications. The most cited author was Crawford (333 citations). Most of the publications (81%) were scientific articles, with 37% focused on medicine and 12% focused on social sciences. It is concluded that the literature on accounting strategies for sport event management has been the subject of research, with a wide variety of authors, topics, countries, and resources in general. Thus, financial planning, cost control, proper revenue recognition, tax compliance, all these strategies enable the organization of a sporting event to be profitable, efficient and sustainable. As a result, there is a complete picture of the global influence, perception and importance of research on this topic, which lays the groundwork for future research in this field. The value of the research lies in its ability to provide evidence-based solutions to improve the financial efficiency and sustainability of sporting events.
Objectives: This study aims to examine the impact of Sun Tzu’s Art of War Five Virtues Leadership on innovation and the efficiency of the Chinese brand passenger vehicle industry, explore the role of innovation in enhancing industry efficiency, and propose strategies for leveraging the Five Virtues Leadership to improve operational performance and competitiveness in the sector. Methodology: A mixed research method using quantitative research (questionnaire survey) as the main method and qualitative research (in-depth interview) as the auxiliary method. Result: Quantitative and qualitative research results confirm the positive correlation between the Five Virtues Leadership, innovation, and the efficiency of Chinese brand passenger vehicle companies. And through effective data analysis, it explains the importance of the five virtues of leadership in traditional Chinese culture. Further understanding of the effectiveness and competitiveness of China’s passenger car brands, with leadership references. Conclusion: Five Virtues Leadership can foster a favorable environment for innovation, enhance time utilization, optimize resource allocation, and strengthen brand image. By developing and validating a measurement for Five Virtues Leadership, this study enhances the understanding of its role and significance in modern management, paving the way for future research.
Nowadays, finding a suitable solution to the problem of generational change in case of small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) is becoming increasingly challenging. The aim of this research to investigate whether entering into the stock exchange could be a realistic alternative for Hungarian companies to eliminate this issue. This study reviews the process of Initial Public Offering (IPO) and summarises the advantages and the difficulties of going public. The paper focuses on the opportunities for value creation and saving offered to SMEs by listing on the stock exchange. As primary research on practical experiences, semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with the managers of 10 involved companies, and some financial indicators were examined. The research does not cover all relevant companies; however, it is still suitable for drawing a conclusion. The presence on the stock market proved to be useful for the companies and played a significant role in the preservation of the company’s value as well as in financing opportunities. The path demonstrated in this article is suitable for other businesses to follow the pioneers.
History, as a remembrance of a country’s rise and fall, is hardly neglected by the public, through various ways. The once hit cultural exploration program National Treasure on CCTV once again inspired millions of people to pay their attention back to the country’s glorious history. In the first season of the program, nine museums ranging from the Palace Museum to other eight major museums throughout China are participating, and each of which needs to select three most precious treasures in its museum to present its “previous history” and “present life”. Through this form, this show aims to inspire more people to get involved in the ancient civilization and make the national treasures “come live”.
The study’s goal is to evaluate how microfinance initiatives affect women’s empowerment in Bangladesh. For this study, we analyzed data on a variety of women’s empowerment-related issues, including both beneficial and detrimental elements that stand in the way of women’s empowerment. Therefore, in order to accomplish the specified goal, we choose a suitable and intentional methodology. We employ diverse data gathering approaches to examine the gathered data and achieve the primary goal of the research project. It presents the positive effects of microfinance on women, such as (1) the enhancement of women’s authority in financial affairs; and (2) the augmentation of their ability to make decisions in household; and (3) community matters following their participation in the microfinance program. This also provides an analysis of the data pertaining to the adverse effects of microfinance on women. It examines how women encounter various challenges and engage in unethical behaviors after obtaining a loan, leading to heightened levels of stress following their participation in the microfinance program. This study looks into the advantages and disadvantages of Grameen Bank’s microcredit program for women. A questionnaire gathered primary data for this study from women participating in the microfinance program in Gopalgonj. To collect information and comprehend respondent behavior, I used case study, analytical and descriptive study design. Regression analysis, correlation, and percentage are used to examine the data. The findings indicate that women’s decision-making skills have improved due to their financial stability, but they have also experienced increased life challenges and high levels of stress.
