Despite many investigations concerning antecedents of organizational commitment in the workplace, very few studies so far have analyzed the direct or indirect impact of HR change leadership role on organizational commitment via HR attribution. Therefore, given the reciprocal principle of social exchange theory, attribution theory and signal theory, this study formulated hypotheses and a model to test the relationships between included variables by employing the mixed-method approach. In-depth interviews were initially conducted to develop questionnaires to collect quantitative data. Employing PLS-SEM to analyze the data collected from 1058 employees working in 24 sustainable enterprises in Vietnam, the findings show that the degree of adopting HR change leadership role was positive, directly affecting organizational commitment. Also, both well-being and performance HR attribution play partially mediated roles in the relationship. The findings suggest that the organizational commitment depends on not only how the degree of adopting HR change leadership role is executed, but also how employees perceive and interpret the underlying management intent of these practices. In a sustainable context, adopting HR change leadership role plays a critical role in shaping employees’ interpretations of sustainable HR practices and their subsequent attributions. Besides, employees’ belief on why are sustainable HRM practices implemented has an influence on the organizational commitment that in turn contributes to the overall sustainable performance.
Background: In the context of organizational innovation frameworks, knowledge plays a crucial role in sparking new ideas and bolstering innovation capabilities. Insights gathered from various sources can act as a catalyst for generating fresh concepts and pushing boundaries. Moreover, the effectiveness of innovation within an organization can be influenced by factors like employee retention and strategies in human resource management, which can either enhance or hinder the correlation between knowledge accumulation and innovation outcomes. The employee innovation performance involves a series of tasks carried out by individuals who not only possess knowledge and skills but also demonstrate consistency, active involvement in decision-making, intrinsic motivation, and a flair for innovation. Objective: This study endeavors to provide valuable insights into how non-standard service relationships, psychological contracts, and knowledge sharing practices can collectively impact and drive innovation in the green manufacturing sector. Arrangement: In the investigation of employee innovation performance within the development of the green manufacturing industry, the focus will be on exploring non-standard service relationships, psychological contracts, and knowledge sharing. These three specific facets play a pivotal role in shaping the innovation landscape in organizations operating within the realm of sustainable manufacturing. The arrangement of this study will begin by examining the impact of non-standard service relationships on employee innovation performance. By dissecting unconventional service models and their correlation with innovation behaviors, we aim to uncover novel insights that can fuel sustainable innovation practices in the green manufacturing sector. Method: The study adopts a quantitative methodology to collect data, concentrating on a group of employees across eight distinct outsourcing firms. This selection results in a comprehensive sample of 299 participants. For the analysis and manipulation of the data, the research utilizes Sructural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) software. This choice facilitates a meticulous and structured analysis of the data gathered, ensuring precision in the research findings. Results: The research findings reveal a significant and positive influence of psychological contracts on the propensity for knowledge sharing among employees. This suggests that organizations that emphasize establishing strong psychological contracts are likely to nurture a work environment conducive to the free exchange of knowledge and ideas, thus promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Additionally, the data points to a noteworthy positive correlation between the act of knowledge sharing and the ability of an organization to offer unique, non-standard services. This underscores the role of knowledge sharing as a catalyst for innovation, indicating that organizations encouraging such exchanges are in a better position to innovate and provide services that adapt to the changing demands of customers and stakeholders. Conclusion: The research underscores the critical but nuanced role of knowledge sharing in driving employee innovation, especially when contrasted with its pronounced impact on developing non-standard services. It highlights the necessity for organizations to create environments conducive to the free exchange of ideas, fostering innovation. The findings also reveal the significant influence of innovative service offerings and strong psychological contracts on boosting employee creativity and service quality, respectively. Urban facilities and services are essential to human life. Access to them varies according to the geographical location of the population, whether urban, peri-urban or rural, and according to the modes of transport available. In view of the rapid development of peri-urban areas in developing countries, questions are being asked about the ability of the inhabitants of these areas to access these facilities and services. This study examines the ability of the inhabitants of Hêvié, Ouèdo and Togba, three peri-urban districts of Abomey-Calavi in the Republic of Benin, to access commercial, educational, school and health facilities. To this end, we have adopted a GIS-based methodology. It is a combination of isochronal method and accessibility utility measurement. The isochrones were produced according to the main modes of travel recorded on the study area and over a time t ≤ 20 min divided into intervals of 05 min. Analysis of the data enabled us to understand that the main modes of travel adopted by residents are walking, motorcycle and car. Access to educational and health facilities is conditioned by the mode of travel used. Access to commercial and entertainment facilities in t ≤ 20 min is not correlated with the modes of transport used.
The aim of the study is to identify the requirements for qualifying administrative leaders and the challenges they face at King Khalid University, in light of the general framework of the Human Capacities Development Program, which includes four dimensions (values and behaviours-basic skills-future skills-knowledge). A descriptive approach was used, and the study population consisted of academic leaders at King Khalid University, totalling (107). A questionnaire was used as a research tool, comprising three axes and (53) statements to collect data after ensuring their validity and reliability. The results showed the agreement of the study population on the axis of requirements for qualifying administrative leaders at King Khalid University to a very high degree, with an average score of (4.44), and their agreement on the challenges facing the qualification of administrative leaders at King Khalid University to a very high degree, with an average score of (4.11), and their agreement on the mechanisms for qualifying administrative leaders at King Khalid University to a very high degree, with an average score of (4.29). The results also showed no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between the means of responses of the study population on the requirements, challenges, and mechanisms for qualifying administrative leaders according to variables (gender-academic qualification—experience in the current job). In light of the study results, a proposed strategy was developed, and recommendations were made, including adopting the proposed strategy and governing the programs for qualifying administrative leaders at King Khalid University to ensure transparency, fairness, and accountability at all stages from nomination, preparation, and evaluation, in addition to considering the university’s strategic plan when designing programs for qualifying administrative leaders to adopt the values embraced by the administration and build leaders who contribute to achieving its vision and mission in the long term.
The year of 2024 marked the twelfth anniversary of the cooperative mechanism between China and Central and Eastern European countries (China-CEEC). China has repeatedly affirmed its willingness to implement the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development and the sustainable development goals (SDGs), which created many opportunities to enhance the cooperation of the two sides. The paper exemplified some cases in the process of the cooperation, which were rarely discussed previously as normally it was dominated by the large-scale investment project. The cases of the climate change and ocean issues were perceived as a package of holistic EU-China relations that demonstrates the commitments from both sides to deal with SDG 13 and SDG 14. A qualitative method of the policy-circle evaluation and the goal-setting in the global governance was applied in the paper. The findings affirm that the current China-CEEC cooperation scheme is still carrying on both opportunities and challenges and affected by various internal and external factors.
The Science and Technology Innovation Center holds a pivotal position in the national science and technology innovation system, and a scientific evaluation of the “Sci-tech Innovation Center” will guide its construction direction. This study found the advantages and disadvantages of the four cities through comparison; Hence improvement suggestions were proposed for the weaknesses of the four cities. There are two main paths for the government to drive technology innovation: STI (Science and Technology Innovation) mode and DUI (Doing, Using, Interacting) mode. With the aid of the evaluation index system of the Sci-tech Innovation Center, this article uses fuzzy sets, rough sets and fuzzy dynamic clustering methods to comprehensively evaluate the effects of driving technology innovation in the four cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou. The results found that Shenzhen has a significant effect in DUI, and Beijing has a significant effect in STI. The choice of path is related to the abundance of innovation resources.
