Nanomaterials stand as transformative elements across diverse domains, ranging from biotechnology, aircraft, aviation, and space exploration to medicine, health, environmental preservation, resources, energy, and aerospace. This issue, comprising nine original research articles and two insightful reviews, we embark on a journey to unravel the multifaceted uses of nanomaterials, with a special emphasis on their contributions to environmental protection and medicine. Delving into the unique traits of various nanomaterials, our aim is to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding that transcends conventional boundaries, fostering a deeper appreciation for the impact of nanomaterials.
The major objective of this research paper is to assess the management effectiveness of Sheikh Badin National Park District Dera Ismail Khan Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan with respect to tourist’s satisfaction. A sample size of 389 respondents (local community, wildlife staff, tourists) were selected through simple random sampling to conclude respondents’ attitude towards phenomenon investigated through three-level Likert scale as a measurement tool. Association between a dependent variable (management effectiveness) was assessed on the independent variables (tourist satisfaction) through a chi-square test. Association of management effectiveness was highly significant with tourists satisfaction from promos of park (p = 0.000), access to information (p = 0.000), roads network (p = 0.000), residential facilities (p = 0.000), trained guides (p = 0.000), safety from crimes and criminals (p = 0.000), provision of health and security services (p = 0.000), overall satisfaction of tourists (p = 0.000), recommendation of SBNP to other tourists (p = 0.000) and revisit intentions of tourists (p = 0.000). Improvement in security measures, better advertisement and improvement in park infrastructure were major recommendations considering the study.
Mathematics education is a comprehensive scientific system that holds significant importance in studying the seamless integration between university mathematics education and secondary mathematics education. This research paper delves into the challenges encountered during the transition from high school to university mathematics and offers analytical strategies and recommendations for both teachers and students. The objective is to enhance the continuity and coherence of mathematics education. Furthermore, tailored recommendations are provided to bridge the gap between high school and university mathematics education, taking into consideration the unique characteristics of students from different provinces and cities.
Context: Noise in the work environment, in all types of productive activities, represents a hazard and has not really been valued in its real dimension. Little has been seen that stakeholders have determined the urgency of managing noise control programs. Therefore, losses resulting from medical treatment and absenteeism, represented in health care and social services, result in hidden work-related costs that directly affect the gross domestic product in any country.
Method: This article compiles different case studies from around the world. The studies were divided for review into general studies on the effects of workforce noise and then particularized according to the effects of industrial noise on workers’ health. At a control level, the assessment and measurement of noise is defined through the use of tools such as noise maps and their respective derivations, in addition to spatial databases.
Results: According to the collection of information and its analysis, we observe that in the medium term, the economies will be diminished in an important percentage due to the consequences generated by the exposure to noise. Specific information can be found in the development of the article.
Conclusions: The data provided by the case studies point to the need for Colombia, a country that is no stranger to this phenomenon, and which additionally has the great disadvantage of not having significant studies in the field of noise analysis, should strengthen studies based on spatial data as a mechanism for measurement and control.

Taking the 13 years pure artificial forest Phoebe chekiangensis and heterogeneous mixed forests in Tiantong mountain, Zhejiang Province as the research object, the characteristics of stand development, tree competition differentiation, tree height/breast diameter ratio and dominant wood growth were compared and analyzed from the perspective of ecology. The results show that compared with pure forests, the growth advantages of heterogeneous mixed-age forests were significant. Average breast diameter growth of stand increased 1.8%; the growth of single plant wood accumulation increased 7.4%. The relationship between tree height and diameter showed that the high growth of Phoebe chekiangensis individuals in the heterogeneous mixed forest was significantly promoted, and the high growth of the tree was 8.4% higher than that of pure forest. 1–5 grade wood scale sizes Phoebe chekiangensis in heterogeneous mixed forests and pure forests are ranked grade 3 (43.7%) > grade 2 (26.5%) > grade 4 (15.7%) > grade 1 (12.9%) > grade 5 (1.2%); grade 3 (34.7%) > level 2 (25.6%) > level 4 (20.0%) > level 1 (18.2%) > level 5 (1.2%); the straight-diameter structure shows a normal distribution, and the degree of differentiation of pure forests is greater than that of heterogeneous forests. The dominant trees of Phoebe chekiangensis pure forest and heterogeneous forest accounted for 18.2% and 12.9% of the total number of plants respectively, providing a reserve of 51.1% and 35.4% respectively, reflecting the contribution of dominant trees caused by the self-thinning effect.
