With the increasing call for sustainable development, cities’ demand for green innovation has also been growing. However, relatively little research summarizes the influencing factors of urban green innovation. In this study, we conducted a visual analysis of 1193 research articles on green innovation in cities from the Web of Science core database using bibliometrics and visualization analysis. By analyzing co-occurrence, co-citation, and high-frequency keywords in the literature, we explored the current research status and development trends of influencing factors of urban green innovation and summarized the research in this field. The study found that collaboration among authors and institutions in this field needs to be strengthened to a certain extent. In addition, the study identified the research hotspots and frontiers in the field of urban green innovation, including “management”, “diffusion”, “smart city”, “indicator”, “sustainable city”, “governance”, and “environmental regulation”. Among them, “management”, “governance”, “indicator”, and “internet” are the research frontiers in this field, which are expected to have profound impacts on the future development of urban green innovation. The co-citation analysis results found that China has the highest research output in this field, followed by the United States, England, Australia, and Italy. In conclusion, this study uses CiteSpace software to identify important influencing factors and development trends of urban green innovation. Urban green innovation has gradually become a norm for social and collective behavior in the process of concretization, interdisciplinary development, and technological innovation. These findings have important reference value for promoting research and practice of urban green innovation.
One of the main concerns in computer science today is integrating the Internet of Things (IoT) into manufacturing processes. This trend could influence a country’s strategy and policy development regarding technological infrastructure. However, despite extensive research on the implementation of IoT in manufacturing, no study has yet focused on the growing research interest in this topic. Based on 2487 papers indexed in the Scopus database between 2013 and 2023, this bibliometric review examines current trends and patterns in IoT research in manufacturing. The literature was selected and screened using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 guidelines. Data visualization was created using VOSviewer. The results show a notable increase in research papers centered around IoT in manufacturing. The findings reveal patterns and trends in IoT research publications in the manufacturing sector, author collaboration networks, country collaboration networks, and both established and newly trending topics surrounding IoT in the manufacturing industry.
Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education is a global priority, but effective implementation faces challenges. This bibliometric study analyzed the results of Indonesian STEM education research to elucidate publication and contributor patterns. The Scopus database was searched for Indonesian STEM education publications from 2019–2023 and produced 52 documents from 23 sources. The analysis found a negative average growth rate of −5.43%, with a peak of 14 releases in 2020, possibly related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the output was relatively limited, the diversity of sources suggests wide-ranging interest. The leading authors were identified based on their productivity and impact on citation, with Wahono. emerging as the most influential worldwide. Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia was an institutional leader. The Journal of Physics Conference series dominated the contributions and emphasized the role of conference proceedings. Examination of the citations and text frequencies revealed key themes that include technology, engineering, pedagogy, and skills of the 21st century. Several widely cited works ensured international visibility. In general, this bibliometric analysis quantitatively mapped the landscape of Indonesian STEM education research, finding a decline in performance but a strong foundation of committed institutions and authors. The sustainability of production and impact requires targeted policies based on insight into existing strengths, productive scholars, and influential publications. The results provide an empirical basis for practices and policies for the effective development of STEM education in Indonesian schools.
The aim of this study was to analyze scientific production on accounting strategies for the management of sporting events over the last 20 years. The methodology used was mixed, combining the quantitative perspective of bibliometric analysis and the qualitative perspective of the case study, to deepen the analysis of the data set. Using bibliometrics, the number of scientific papers on this topic was quantified. For the study, 853 papers from Scopus and Google Scholar were considered that met the inclusion criteria in terms of relevance and keywords in English (accounting strategies, financial strategies and sporting events). Between 2021 and 2024, scientific production increased significantly (n = 376; 44.1%), with the United States being the largest contributor, with 21.7%. In addition, Plos One was the most important source, with 22 publications. The most cited author was Crawford (333 citations). Most of the publications (81%) were scientific articles, with 37% focused on medicine and 12% focused on social sciences. It is concluded that the literature on accounting strategies for sport event management has been the subject of research, with a wide variety of authors, topics, countries, and resources in general. Thus, financial planning, cost control, proper revenue recognition, tax compliance, all these strategies enable the organization of a sporting event to be profitable, efficient and sustainable. As a result, there is a complete picture of the global influence, perception and importance of research on this topic, which lays the groundwork for future research in this field. The value of the research lies in its ability to provide evidence-based solutions to improve the financial efficiency and sustainability of sporting events.
The transition to sustainable agricultural practices is critical in the face of escalating climate challenges. Despite significant advances, the integration of green technologies within agribusiness remains underexplored. This study undertakes a comprehensive bibliometric analysis, utilizing data from the Web of Science Core Collection (1990–2023), to elucidate the integration of green technologies within agribusiness strategies. The research highlights key trends, influential authors, prominent journals, and significant thematic clusters, including biogas, biochar, biotech remediation, sustainable agriculture transition, low-carbon agriculture, and green strategies. By employing R, Bibliometrix, and VOSviewer, the study provides a nuanced understanding of the research landscape, emphasizing the critical role of strategic planning, policy frameworks, technological innovation, and interdisciplinary approaches in promoting sustainable agricultural development. The findings underscore the growing scholarly interest in sustainable practices, driven by global initiatives such as the UN’s 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement. This study contributes to the literature by offering qualitative insights and policy implications, highlighting the necessity for a holistic integration of green technologies to enhance the environmental and economic viability of agribusinesses.
