Nowadays, the scale of graduate education in our country has been growing, but the quality of graduate education has not been improved. Therefore, how to effectively improve the quality of postgraduate education has become the most concerned issue in the academic circle and universities, which directly highlights that the internal guarantee mechanism of postgraduate students to improve the quality of postgraduate education has become the focus of academic research, in which tutors are the main influencing factors of postgraduate education quality. The tutor plays a positive and dominant role in stimulating, demonstrating, modeling, guiding and infecting the postgraduate's behavior. This paper analyzes the existing problems in exerting the role of postgraduate tutors, and from the problems, puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to exert and mobilize the initiative of tutors.

Reading comprehension ability, as a key skill that needs to be developed in English teaching, has attracted high attention from teachers and students in universities. This is not only due to its relatively large proportion in English exams, but also due to the entering of the information age, people need to obtain information from the text through extensive reading and gain a profound understanding of the content of the article. Therefore, in the process of guiding students to learn English knowledge, teachers must take cultivating students' reading comprehension ability as the central link of teaching activities. Through exploring and researching it in teaching, students can improve their reading comprehension level and enable them to have a deeper understanding of the profound connotations to be expressed in future English texts.

The improvement of critical thinking ability is a process of human brain’s cognition, reasoning and judgment of objective things. This experiment starts with the learners’ discourse cognitive construction model, and attempts to study the effect of the training of discourse cognitive model based on critical thinking habits on the English writing performance of the application-oriented English majors with three different levels of language expression ability, so as to help the learners improve their English writing in the construction of conscious discourse cognition.

Freshwater problems in coastal areas include the process of salt intrusion which occurs due to decreasing groundwater levels below sea level which can cause an increase in salt levels in groundwater so that the water cannot be used for water purposes, human consumption and agricultural needs. The main objective of this research is to implementation of RWH to fulfill clean water needs in tropical coastal area in Tanah Merah Village, Indragiri Hilir Regency, with the aim of providing clean water to coastal communities. The approach method used based on fuzzy logic (FL). The model input data includes the effective area of the house’s roof, annual rainfall, roof runoff coefficient, and water consumption based on the number of families. The BWS III Sumatera provided the rainfall data for this research, which was collected from the Keritang rainfall monitoring station during 2015 and 2021. The research findings show that FL based on household scale RWH technology is used to supply clean water in tropical coastal areas that the largest rainwater contribution for the 144 m² house type for the number of residents in a house of four people with a tank capacity of 29 m² is 99.45%.

Macao’s Continuing Education Development and Improvement Program aims to create lifelong learning conditions for Macao residents who have reached the age of 15 and encourage them to pursue continuing education or obtain certification to improve their personal qualities. This paper analyzes the entire implementation process of the Continuing Education Development and Improvement Program in Macao, using the traditional means of policy analysis from three perspectives. For the government, successful implementation ensures the quality of continuing education and promotes the building of a learning society in Macao. For educational institutions, this program provides residents with multiple learning pathways to meet diversified needs. For residents, it alleviates the cost pressure caused by education and promotes individual development in various aspects. However, there are still some problems in the subsequent implementation process that need to be improved, such as unclear positioning, inadequate administrative supervision mechanisms, and a weak guarantee of curriculum quality.
