This quantitative survey was non-experimental and had two goals. An evaluation of predictor variables of empowerment, motivation, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and training and development in project environments was one goal to help explain the industry’s high project failure rate. Second, this research tested Bandura’s social learning theory and tested the hypothesis that empowerment and motivation boost performance. Using a survey-based questionnaire, the data was collected from 212 employees working in different IT companies in Pakistan. The results revealed that empowerment, motivation, teamwork, and training and development have a significant impact on project performance. Using the results, this study proposes theoretical implications for the researchers and managerial implications for the organizations.
The agronomic and oenological behavior of the Pinot noir grape variety was studied in relation to different rootstocks on the Agroscope estate in Leytron (VS): 3309 C, 5 BB, Fercal, 41 BMGt, Riparia Gloire, 420 AMGt, 101-14 MGt and 161-49 C. Rootstock primarily influenced vigor, speed of vine establishment, and mineral nutrition of the graft. Riparia Gloire, 41 BMGt, 420 AMGt and 161-49 C rootstocks were less vigorous and, for the last three, induced a lower nitrogen and potassium supply leading to the production of slightly more acidic wines. The less vigorous rootstocks and 101-14 MGt were slightly more sensitive to water stress.
This study investigates the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on employee job satisfaction within Pakistan's construction industry, with a focus on the mediating role of organizational commitment and the moderating role of perceived organizational support (POS). Employing survey data collected from a diverse range of construction firms across Pakistan, the quantitative analysis reveals that CSR initiatives significantly enhance employee job satisfaction, primarily through the mediating influence of organizational commitment. The findings suggest that when employees perceive their organization as socially responsible and engaged in community betterment, they exhibit greater commitment to the organization, which in turn fosters higher levels of job satisfaction. Although POS does not significantly moderate the CSR—job satisfaction relationship, it remains a critical factor in cultivating a supportive and positive work environment. This study contributes to the growing literature on CSR and employee outcomes by offering empirical evidence from a developing economy context. The results have practical implications for construction firms aiming to enhance employee morale and reduce turnover by leveraging CSR as a strategic tool to improve organizational commitment and overall job satisfaction.
The objective of this study was to develop a model based on fuzzy rules to evaluate the effects caused by varying the dosages of two soil fertilizers (mineral and organic) on root diameter. Fuzzy logic is a method that presents a language, more appropriate to day-to-day life, as the sky is a bit cloudy. For the input variables of this system the mineral and an organic fertilizer were used, for the output the root diameter, in cm. After optimization of the input rules, it can be seen that for the application of the fertilizers (mineral and organic) the best dosages were from 15 to 60 and 20 to 60 g·m-2, respectively. With this application of fuzzy rules in real data, it is possible to take these benefits to those involved in the production chain of radish, resulting in a reduction in the dosages of products and improving its final profitability.
To rejuvenate the country through science and education, the university is an important position of China's personnel training system and a base for the production of human resources in our country. The higher education in the popularization stage has made a profound change in the employment mode of graduates, which makes the discipline structure and personnel training mode of colleges and universities adapt to the requirements of the market and society. Based on the employment situation of colleges and universities, this paper analyzes the significance, dilemma and suggestions of constructing a feedback mechanism for the quality of graduates, so as to help colleges and universities cultivate more high-quality talents.
