Competency-based education is one of the many important educational objectives in the cultivation of senior vocational talents. The utilization of digital tools in agricultural extension has facilitated information delivery through non-face-to-face interactions. Therefore, this study aimed to map the variation in digital tools used by agricultural extension workers to access and deliver information and analyse the outcomes of farmers’ adoption. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with agricultural extension workers at 11 Agricultural Extension Centers. The data were processed using the N-Vivo qualitative data analysis software. The results showed that extension workers combined various digital tools as sources of extension materials and channels for delivering information to farmers. Although social interaction between agricultural extension workers and farmers occurred non-face-to-face, messages could be adopted by farmers and yield tangible outcomes. This was reflected in the asynchronous communication, allowing extension workers sufficient time to improve the quality of the delivered messages. Farmers also had sufficient time to review the received information content in this context repeatedly. These results implied that although extension content is delivered through non-face-to-face interaction, it can still drive adoption with significant outcomes.
Based on instructional practice in badminton course teaching, this study expands the application of goal-directed behavior theory from management studies in the field of physical education, thereby supplementing the existing conditions for applying goal-directed behavior theory in the sports domain. Empirical evidence confirms that proactive college students, through the reconstruction of the badminton knowledge system, implementation of innovative teaching methods, and utilization of multidimensional assessment approaches, can effectively acquire proficient skills in major badminton techniques within a 32-hour instructional period. This accomplishment not only achieves the intended teaching objectives but also resolves the issue of students struggling to comprehend and acquire badminton techniques within a limited timeframe.
A comprehensive survey was conducted in 2012 and 2020 to assess the financial culture of Hungarian higher education students. The findings revealed that financial training effectiveness had not improved over time. To address this, a conative examination of financial personality was initiated by the Financial Compass Foundation, which gathered over 40,000 responses from three distinct age groups: Children, high school students, and adults. The study identified key behavioral patterns, such as excessive spending and financial fragility, which were prominent across all age groups. These results informed Hungary’s seven-year strategy to enhance financial literacy and integrate economic education into the National Core Curriculum. The research is now expanding internationally with the aim of building a comparative database. The study’s main findings highlight the widespread need for improved financial education, with more than 80% of adults demonstrating risky financial behaviors. The implications of these findings suggest the importance of early financial education and tailored interventions to foster long-term financial stability. The international expansion of this research will allow for the examination of country-specific financial behaviors and provide data-driven recommendations for policy development.
Lately, there is a progressive assimilation of sustainable and green development principles into the collective conscience of individuals. Companies have received considerable attention from all sectors of life when it comes to the environment, society and governance (ESG). This study uses a bidirectional fixed effects model to investigate the influence and the mechanism of green innovation on company ESG information, using a research sample composed of data from the A-share listed companies in China spanning the period from 2011 to 2021. The findings indicated that green innovation exerted a substantial positive influence on ESG information disclosure, and the effect was more substantial, especially in mature and declining companies. Financing constraints and analysts’ attention played a mediating role between green innovation and ESG information disclosure. The results of heterogeneity analysis showed that green innovation played a more significant role in promoting ESG information disclosure among state-owned companies, large-scale companies, manufacturing companies and heavy pollution companies. Furthermore, implementing green development policies had facilitated the reinforcement of the promotion impact of ESG information disclosure through green innovation. Additionally, the instrumental variable method was employed to conduct a robustness test. This study enhances the understanding of the theoretical framework about green innovation and the disclosure of ESG information, and offers valuable insights for advancing the sustainable development of companies.
