In recent years, Vietnam has achieved great achievements in the implementation of economic growth, which has contributed to reducing poverty and is highly appreciated by the international community. Although Vietnam has made remarkable achievements in reducing poverty and meeting the requirements of sustainable development, there are still many challenges and work to be done. Vietnam needs to continue to push ahead to improve the quality of life for the poorest, reduce the development gap between regions, and strengthen its response to climate change and the environment. This study uses a qualitative method to analyze the current situation of poverty reduction in Vietnam. The article also uses analytical, synthetic, logical, and historical methods to clarify the results and limitations of poverty reduction. The value of the research helps the Vietnamese government to be aware of the results and limitations of poverty reduction and suggests scientific and timely solutions to implement poverty reduction work in Vietnam.
The effectiveness of frailty intervention programs for older adults in Korean communities has been inconsistent, posing challenges for public health nurses (PHNs). This study aims to develop an evidence-based intervention using the Intervention Mapping (IM) Protocol. The program followed the IM Protocol’s six steps, which provide a systematic method for developing and implementing theory-based health promotion programs. In Step 1, the needs of the subjects were identified through systematic review and interviews. In Step 3, the theme of the program was established as ‘health promotion for frail older adults’, and the components and scope were confirmed. The contents of the program included concepts of social support and social networks. In Step 4, after conducting a pilot test, the results were reflected and modifications were made. In Step 6, the evaluation tool was revised, and an effective evaluation plan was established. The final program was designed based on the program and interview results. The pilot test in Step 4 involved a one-group pretest-posttest and focus group interview with 15 pre-frail older adults. The IM Protocol-based health promotion program effectively addressed the needs of the subjects and improved frailty issues.
The lack of attention from mining companies to the majority of areas still affected by mining activities can result in regional economic disparities and high levels of social violence. It is crucial to have policy strategies for mining contributions to rural development equity and social violence reduction through CSR assistance and other aid funds. This research employs the Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis method using the MULTIPOL analysis tool. Recommended action programs include the construction of schools, provision of scholarships, job openings, business capital, and infrastructure development, supported by strong regulations and law enforcement. Cracking down on illegal mining permits is essential to reduce environmental damage. Holistic and sustainable integration policies, alongside effective law enforcement, are necessary to achieve the goals of equitable development and social violence reduction. These steps should be reinforced with incentives for traditional/community leaders and increased police/military presence in villages within the next 2 years, particularly in zones 2 and 3 of the mining areas. Failure to implement these measures could escalate social violence, jeopardize security, and impede the operations of mining companies in Kolaka. The findings of this research support the priority of security and orderliness in development and underscore the importance of diverse research methods for mining area development policies.
The article examines the modern vectors of implementation of measures to achieve results in the field of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), both at the level of national priorities and at the level of Central Asian countries. The purpose of this study is a multidimensional analysis of actions that make it possible to develop solutions to stabilize the environmental situation in Central Asian countries based on global international trends. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the integrated use of thematic modeling methods, as well as sociological surveys used to improve the efficiency of business processes in the field of environmental protection. The methodological basis for conducting a comparative assessment of the impact of environmental policy instruments used on regional development is the concept of sustainable development. In conclusion, conclusions are drawn about the need to develop effective mechanisms for the implementation of environmental policy in the studied countries.
Data literacy is an important skill for students in studying physics. With data literacy, students have the ability to collect, analyze and interpret data as well as construct data-based scientific explanations and reasoning. However, students’ ability to data literacy is still not satisfactory. On the other hand, various learning strategies still provide opportunities to design learning models that are more directed at data literacy skills. For this reason, in this research a physics learning model was developed that is oriented towards physics objects represented in various modes and is called the Object-Oriented Physics Learning (OOPL) Model. The learning model was developed through several stages and based on the results of the validity analysis; it shows that the OOPL model is included in the valid category. The OOPL model fulfils the elements of content validity and construct validity. The validity of the OOPL model and its implications are discussed in detail in the discussion.
