This study investigates the roles of government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in constructing permanent housing for disaster-affected communities in Cianjur Regency following the November 2022 earthquake. Employing a qualitative methodology, the research utilizes in-depth interviews and field observations involving local governments, NGOs, and disaster survivors. The findings highlight the government’s central role in policy formulation, budget allocation, and coordination of housing development, while NGOs contribute through community empowerment, logistical support, and ensuring participatory planning. Challenges in collaboration, such as differing objectives and resource constraints, underscore the need for enhanced synergy. The study concludes that effective partnerships among the government, NGOs, and the community can expedite the development of sustainable, safe housing tailored to local needs. Emphasis on community empowerment and integrated resource management enhances resilience to future disasters. Success hinges on strong coordination, proactive challenge management, and inclusive stakeholder engagement throughout the recovery process.
This study constructs and empirically validates a Creative Activity Chain (CCA) structure model tailored for innovation in sustainable infrastructure development. In today’s competitive environment, fostering innovation is crucial for maintaining the relevance and effectiveness of infrastructure projects. The research underscores that a significant portion of a project’s long-term value is established during its initial concept and planning stages, highlighting the critical role of creativity in infrastructure development. The CCA model is developed through theoretical frameworks and empirical data, encompassing three key dimensions: creative subject chain, creative action chain, and creative operation chain. The model’s validity is tested with data from five large infrastructure development firms in China, involving 768 R&D staff as respondents. Rigorous statistical methods, including exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), structural equation modeling (SEM), and regression analysis, confirm the model’s robustness. The findings reveal significant positive correlations between the creative activity chain’s dimensions and the successful development of sustainable infrastructure projects. Additionally, the study examines the mediating effect of link strength within the creative activity chain, demonstrating its substantial impact on project outcomes. Implications for management include promoting diverse creative teams, systematic process management, and leveraging varied operational tools to enhance creativity in infrastructure development. This research contributes to the literature by introducing an integrated model for managing creative activities in sustainable infrastructure development, offering practical insights for improving innovation processes.
This scholarly article aims at analyze the obstacles encountered by teachers who specialize in the transition from early childhood education to primary education, as well as the possible areas for their growth and progress. Through the utilization of a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, along with detailed case studies, we have identified a number of major challenges faced by these teachers. These challenges primarily center around psychological stress, disparities in educational philosophies, and the task of bridging the gap between home and kindergarten education. To promote the professional development of teachers specializing in this transition in the future, it is crucial to prioritize their mental well-being, implement policy reforms, and emphasize the importance of comprehensive qualities and innovative pedagogical approaches.
Objective: Sleep-wake disorders is a common disease in children and adolescents. In recent years, there has been an increasing number of studies on the intervention of exercise therapy in sleep-wake disorders. This study aims to systematically review the development status, research frontiers, research hotspots and development trends of exercise therapy in the through bibliometric methods. Methods: The data comes from the Web of Science Core Collection database. Select all the original data from the establishment of the database to 26 April 2024. Summarize the external characteristics of the literature through Web of Science, Use Excel 2021, Origin 2021, VOS viewers 1.6.20 and Cite Space 6.3.R1 to visually analyze countries/regions, institutions, journals, authors, co-cited references and co-occurrence keywords, use the bibliometric online analysis platform (https://bibliometric.com/) to analyze the changes of keywords and extended keywords over the years. Results: We received a total of 775 publications. The works were sourced from 1429 institutions in 75 countries/regions, published in 113 journals, and written by 4332 authors. The number of publications peaked in 2012, 2018, 2019 and 2021 respectively. In the United States, Harvard University and Children (Basel) have the highest number of publications in this field. The analysis of co-cited references shows that there are three main research frontiers in this field, including 24-hour exercise behavior guidelines for children and adolescents, COVID-19 lockdown and cardiometabolic risk. Screen time, mental health, validity, depression, guidelines, stress, and mediterranean diet are still the current research hotspots in the field, and may become potential research hotspots in the future. Conclusion: The development of research in the field of exercise therapy for children and adolescents with sleep-wake disorders is relatively slow, and there is still a lack of cross-regional scientific research collaborations between countries/regions, institutions and individuals. Our research suggests that it may be a worthwhile research direction to promote the establishment of healthy lifestyle behaviors in the gathering environment of children and adolescents, formulate targeted policies for disease prevention, diagnosis and management, strictly implement preventive measures, improve the level of diagnosis, and dig deep into the precise treatment plan of diseases.
This study examines the relationship between Russian FDI carried out by large MNCs and investment development path (IDP). Although statistical analysis does not establish a significant relationship between outward FDI and GDP, the behavior of Russian outward FDI contradicts traditional models. Two primary factors contribute to this paradox. First, the complex business environment in Russia, characterized by a combination of both improvements and contradictions, has a significant impact on outward FDI behavior. Secondly, the duality of the Russian economy and society plays a decisive role. This segment resembles a high-income country with ample resources, while most face lower income levels, raising concerns about wealth distribution. Historical factors, including Russia’s transition from a state-controlled to a market-oriented economy, contribute to the internationalization of Russian MNCs. Both state-owned enterprises and privatized firms are influenced by the state, although to varying degrees. Government involvement in international business strategies increases the knowledge and experience of Russian MNCs, but also raises concerns about political influence.
This study examines the impact of education quality and innovative activities on economic growth in Shanghai through international trade and fixed asset formation. The study examines how higher education quality and innovation activities drive regional economic growth, with a focus on the mediating effects of international trade and fixed asset formation in Shanghai. The study adopts a quantitative approach utilizing panel data from 31 provinces in China covering the period from 1999 to 2022. The study incorporates variables such as education quality, innovation capacity, and GDP per capita, as well as control variables like labor, capital, and infrastructure. The methodology involves multiple regression models and robustness tests to verify the relationships between and effects of education quality and innovation with regard to economic growth. This study analyzes the direct and indirect effects of university R&D expenditure and innovation on economic growth using a regression model, based on data from 2014 to 2022 in relation to Shanghai. The model introduces variables such as international trade, capital formation, and urbanization to analyze the relationship between higher education quality and economic growth.
