The aim of our study is to provide information on how and to what extent professionals of art institutions in Hungary and Slovakia (contemporary galleries and museums) use artificial intelligence in their work processes. Our research focuses on the extent to which these institutions use artificial intelligence in the development of the institution’s operational strategy, or how they can embed the assumed usefulness of artificial intelligence in the operation of the institution, be it the creation of an exhibition, the textual processing of the professional life of an artist, or a about a tool that shapes the gallery’s marketing strategy. We conducted ten in-depth interviews in the two countries, the interviewees were selected using the snowball method. The interview took place among professionals and professionally credible artists who are actively active in contemporary fine art life. The results revealed that the use of artificial intelligence as a tool in the creative work processes is not a requirement in the field of culture, neither in Hungary nor in Slovakia. All the interviewees already had professional experience with AI, 90% of those interviewed would like to deepen their knowledge of the creative use methods of AI, e.g., by creating working groups in the workplace on an experimental basis. Based on our conclusions, we can say that artificial intelligence currently has no conscious strategic use in contemporary art institutions. It can be said that creative professionals are aware of the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in their own field of image, video, and text creation, but there is uncertainty on the part of creators and curators when it comes to copyright. The in-depth interviews provided source material for the compilation of a standardized set of questions for a larger survey of 300-500 people, proportional to the sample, so our presented results are partial results of a larger research.
The interest in smart grids and new technologies is growing around the world. Countries are investing in the development of new technologies that will help achieve environmental goals, energy supply efficiency, improve energy efficiency and increase consumer involvement in the energy generation. One of such technology is a blockchain. It is believed that the blockchain, combined with a smart grid, provides an opportunity to integrate the activities of all stakeholders, including: generators, distributors and consumers of electricity. The aim of the article is to identify the key research areas discussed by the researchers of both the smart grid and the blockchain issues. An analysis of the Scopus database from 2015 to 2023 was conducted. Using a created bibliometric query, a systematic literature review was conducted. 476 scientific publications relating to the issues addressed were identified. Using the VOSviewer software, a bibliometric analysis was performed using the author’s keywords. The bibliometric maps obtained allowed for the identification of key research areas. The article also presents potential future directions of scientific considerations, which should be focused on the issue of green smart grid and green blockchain. The results presented in the article can inspire researchers looking for research gaps or describing the current state of knowledge in the field of the smart grid and the blockchain issues.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), breast cancer is among the most common cancers worldwide. Most of the anticancer agents have been showing a variety of side effects. Recently, bacterial proteins have been investigated as promising anticancer agents. Azurin is a bacterial cupredoxin protein secreted from Pseudomonas aeruginosa and has been reported as a potent multi-targeting anticancer agent, which makes it an appropriate candidate for drug delivery. Azurin may be delivered to cancer cells using different carriers like polymeric micro and nanoparticles. In the present study, azurin was extracted from the bacterial host and loaded into chitosan particles. Then its effect on MCF-7 cell line was investigated. Chitosan-azurin particles were made using the ion gelation method. Results showed that chitosan-azurin particles are about 200 nm, and the loading of the protein in particles did not affect its integrity. The MTT assay showed a significant reduction in cell viability in azurin and chitosan-azurin-treated cells. The toxicity level after 5 days was 63.78% and 82.53% for free azurin and chitosan-azurin-treated cells, respectively. It seems using an appropriate carrier system for anticancer proteins like azurin is a promising tool for developing low side effect anticancer agents.
Kampar Regency, as the largest pineapple producer in Riau Province, has yet to provide significant added value for the surrounding SMEs. The limitations in technology and innovation, infrastructure support, and market access have prevented this potential from being optimally utilized. A Technopark can provide the necessary facilities and infrastructure to enhance production efficiency, innovation, and product quality, thus driving local economic growth. The objective of this study is to identify and determine potential locations for the development of a pineapple-based Technopark in Kampar Regency. This study is crucial as a fundamental consideration in selecting the technopark location and assessing the effectiveness and success of the technopark area. The method used in this study is AHP-GIS to analyze relevant parameters in the site selection process for the technopark area. Parameters considered in this study include slope, land use, availability of raw materials, accessibility of roads, access to water resources, proximity to universities, market access, population density, and landfill. The analysis results indicate that the percentage of land highly suitable for the technopark location is 0.78%, covering an area of 8943 hectares. Based on the analysis, it is recommended that potential locations for the development of a pineapple SMEs-based technopark in Kampar Regency are dispersed in Tambang District, encompassing three villages: Rimbo Panjang, Kualu Nenas and Tarai Bangun. The findings of this study align with the spatial planning of Kampar Regency.
This research reviews the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and technology innovation development, and analyzes the impact of technology innovation on ESG performance and its influencing mechanism. In additional, the main purpose of this study is to gain an understanding the relationships of ESG performance, CSR and technology innovation in Art industry. We found that technology innovation impact CSR of art firm, and ESG performance with the moderating variable of technology innovation has a significant and positive impact on CSR. Likewise, the study is based on primary panel data collected from 161 consumer, product and service manufacturing companies through an electronic questionnaire (Google, Microsoft online survey) with five-point Likert measurement scale. The exploratory factor analysis is proposed to be carried out using IBM SPSS 27.0 and the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA analysis) is proposed to be carried out using SmartPLS.4.0 analysis software, and this study investigate the measurement factors and the reliability of the construct items and to validate the factorial structure of the research variables. Moreover, digital technology and CSR has the potential to contribute to this impact. Based on these findings, we propose relevant ESG performance recommendations to improve technology innovation and CSR. Our findings offer an excited knowing and learning of the impact of ESG performance, CSR and technology innovation in Chinese art industry. Furthermore, this study extends stakeholders theory and Schumpeter’s Innovation Theory by proving their utility in the perspective of CSR, ESG performance.

As businesses grapple with unprecedented challenges, the imperative for sustainable practices in corporate finance becomes increasingly evident. Throughout this crisis, companies have faced staggering financial strains, with diminished turnovers and escalating operational costs pushing many to the brink of collapse. In response, governments worldwide have provided vital support, albeit often insufficient, underscoring the necessity for sustainable mechanisms of intervention. Central to this discourse is an examination of how companies have adapted their financing policies amidst the pandemic’s tumult. Government-backed credit facilities have served as a critical lifeline for numerous businesses, emphasizing the need for sustainable financial instruments readily deployable in times of crisis. Concurrently, moratoriums on existing credit obligations have offered temporary relief, albeit with looming concerns regarding heightened corporate indebtedness. Moreover, the pandemic’s aftermath has witnessed a pronounced uptick in corporate borrowing, compounded by surging interest rates. This confluence underscores the exigency for companies to adopt sustainable financial strategies, mindful not only of short-term exigencies but also the enduring ramifications on financial stability. In navigating these challenges, a holistic approach to sustainability is imperative. Governments must ensure robust support mechanisms, while companies must proactively seek sustainable financing solutions. Concurrently, stakeholders must meticulously weigh the long-term repercussions of financial policy adjustments, thereby fortifying corporate resilience against future crises while safeguarding the stability of the global economy. In essence, the COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the critical imperative for sustainability in corporate finance. By heeding this call and embracing sustainable practices, businesses can navigate crises with greater resilience, ensuring not only their survival but also the enduring stability of the economic landscape.
