Using the Resource Advantage Theory approach, this research aims to examine the gap between entrepreneurial opportunities and marketing performance, with market-based innovation capability acting as a mediating variable. The data collection method used non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. The data that was eligible to be processed were 250 respondents. Hypothesis testing was used using the AMOS application. The research results show that market-based innovation capability can improve marketing performance as a mediating variable. In addition, market penetration strength can also improve marketing performance. As a strategic variable, market-based innovation capability (MBIC) converts entrepreneurial opportunities into competitive advantages relevant to market needs. In addition, business actors become more adaptive and responsive to market dynamics, increasing competitiveness sustainably. MBIC, rooted in the Resource Advantage Theory of competition, contributes to developing market-based innovation strategies in the UMKM sector.
As a product of the integration of AI technology and media, the debate surrounding the potential replacement of human anchors by AI anchors has persisted since their inception. This paper conducts a systematic literature review of research on AI anchors in China from 2000 to 2023, grounded in theories of personalization within the field of communication studies. The analysis aims to compare the differences in personalized representation between AI anchors and human anchors, summarizing the advancements, challenges, and future directions of AI anchor communication based on personality. This contribution seeks to enhance the existing knowledge base surrounding AI anchor research.
This research aims to build an appropriate leadership model for regional heads in mitigating disasters due to climate change that is occurring in Papua. Papua Island is one of the islands that is included in disaster-prone areas, namely earthquakes, flash floods, tidal floods and landslides. This disaster occurred due to Papua’s geological conditions in the form of activity on the Indo-Australian plate (southern part) and the Pacific plate (north-eastern part). Exploitation of nature carried out by companies and communities themselves in a particular area has an impact on the balance of the natural ecosystem. So far, disaster management has only focused on emergency response. Aid movements coordinated by ordinary people also focus more on raising aid for emergency situations. In fact, comprehensive disaster management includes before, during and after a disaster occurs. So a combination of leadership styles is needed that must be carried out at each phase of a disaster so that the right model can be produced. The results of this research found that the leadership model of regional heads in mitigating climate change in Papua is in accordance with the disaster management cycle with leadership styles, and traditional Papuan leadership styles. This combination is called a collaborative leadership model for disaster management in Papua. It is hoped that by implementing this model, climate change disaster mitigation can be effective.
Arabic rhetoric has traditionally relied on ancient texts and human interpretation for teaching purposes. The study investigates ChatGPT’s ability to analyze and interpret Arabic rhetorical devices, specifically examining its capacity to handle cultural and contextual elements in rhetorical analysis. Drawing on institutional implementation frameworks and recent educational technology research, this study examines policy considerations for Arabic rhetoric education in an AI-driven environment, with a particular focus on sustainable digital infrastructure development and systematic reforms needed to support AI integration. The study employed the comparative approach to analyze eight rhetorical examples, including metaphors (“Zaid is a lion”), similes (“Someone is a sea”), and metonymy (“A person full of ash”), then compare ChatGPT’s interpretations with traditional explanations from classical Arabic rhetoric texts, particularly “Dala’il al-I’jaaz” by al-Jurjani. The results demonstrate that ChatGPT can provide basic interpretations of simple rhetorical devices, but it struggles with understanding cultural contexts and multiple layers of meaning inherent in Arabic rhetoric. The findings indicate that AI tools, despite their potential for modernizing rhetoric education, currently serve best as supplementary teaching aids rather than replacements for traditional interpretative methods in Arabic rhetoric instruction.
In a context of refugee precarity, the article highlights the significance of inclusive economic models for sustainable resilience amidst protracted crises, examining the interplay between humanitarian aid and economic development within the Minawao camp. Initially established as a temporary solution, the camp now shelters over 76,000 Nigerians fleeing Boko Haram violence. The study focuses on analyzing initiatives implemented to promote economic empowerment and resilience for refugees within a sustainable humanitarian framework. Through a combination of survey data, document reviews, and interviews, findings reveal that while these initiatives align with Sustainable Development Goal 8, they remain limited and insufficiently adapted to the skills and needs of the refugees. The camp’s geographic isolation and the passive involvement of the Cameroonian government further exacerbate the refugees’ dependency on humanitarian aid. Consequently, the study advocates for greater host-state involvement beyond theoretical agreements, the diversification of economic opportunities beyond the camp, adjustment of empowerment programs to meet refugee needs, and strengthened funding through innovative partnerships.
The article investigates trade flows between the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member-states and Belarus before the upcoming Belarus’ joining the organization. The export flows of the countries are modeled using a power function based on the time data. The results of the qualitative and quantitative analysis of foreign trade between the organization and the Republic of Belarus are presented, as well as the quantitative forecast of the prospects open to Belarus in connection with its joining the organization based on three original scenarios using econometric models. The results of the study show that Belarus has certain promising sectors of foreign economic activity, which can contribute to an increase in income from trade. It was found that the integration of the country will have a positive effect on increasing the volume of trade turnover with the participating countries, while in order to maintain sustainable economic growth of the country, domestic development of production should remain a priority, as evidenced by the obtained parameter estimates for the factors. An assessment of potential economic effects can be used to make a decision on whether a country should join an international organization. In particular, based on the assessments in our study in trade with Russia the expected increase in Belarus exports upon joining the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will constitute an increase of nearly 5%, exports to Kazakhstan are expected to increase by almost 75%, and to India and China by almost 90%. In the context of reshaping of international associations and organizations, the problems and issues raised in the study become even more relevant.
