Construction and Practice of First-class Undergraduate Course “Organizing Train Operations at Railway Stations in the Context of Integration of Production and Education”

This article examines higher education teaching reform focused on integrating production and education. Using the exemplary firstclass undergraduate course “Organizing Train Operations at Railway Stations,” it highlights the “numerical-intelligence-creativity” aspects and the “production-education-research” concept. The course consists of seven modules, emphasizing integrated theoretical knowledge and practical abilities, creating a personalized digital teaching environment. It introduces teacher research projects and enterprise practice projects to enhance students’ innovation abilities and teamwork. The course has achieved significant results in cultivating comprehensive qualities, enhancing enthusiasm for learning and innovation consciousness. This article offers references and insights for other professional courses’ construction and practice.

In the contemporary educational environment, stimulating students’ interest has become the key to enhancing teaching effectiveness. Especially in the field of music education, traditional teaching methods often fail to fully mobilise students’ enthusiasm. This paper discusses how to refresh the traditional mode of music education by integrating popular music and electronic music to stimulate students’ learning interest and improve teaching efficiency. We analyse the current challenges facing music education, especially the shortcomings in interest and ability development, and propose a series of reform measures. These measures include the use of multimedia technology, the creation of a positive learning environment, respect for student agency, and the implementation of positive and timely assessment. Through empirical research, we find that introducing popular and electronic music into the classroom not only enhances students’ interest in music learning, but also their creativity and critical thinking skills. Finally, the paper emphasises the key role of teachers in creating and sustaining student interest and the importance of adopting innovative teaching methods in modern music education.

Integrative geography—Current issues in theory and practice (on the example of the Georgian geographical school)

The article discusses the essence of integrative geography and its importance for the theory and practice of geographical science. Such areas of integrative geography are characterized, the development of which will further increase the importance of applied geographical science. They include teaching about cultural landscape and historical landscape (part of landscape studies), geoecological expertise and environmental impact assessment (part of geographic ecology), geographic archeology and ecological culture (part of historical geography), landscape management and landscape services (part of landscape planning), and tourism—Assessment and planning of recreational resources (part of recreational geography).

Comprehensive guidelines and best practices for implementing effective Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Programs to mitigate global vision loss

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a major cause of blindness globally. Effective screening programs are essential to mitigate this burden. This review outlines key principles and practices in implementing DR screening programs, emphasizing the roles of technology, patient education, and healthcare system integration. Our analysis highlights key principles for establishing successful screening initiatives, including the importance of regular screenings, optimal intervals, recommended technologies, and necessary infrastructure. We emphasize the roles of healthcare providers, patients, and policymakers in ensuring the effectiveness of these programs. Our recommendations aim to support the creation of robust policies that mitigate the impact of DR, ultimately improving public health outcomes and reducing the incidence of blindness due to diabetic retinopathy.

It is important to attach great importance to and accelerate the development of vocational education. However, at present, some vocational education schools are influenced by the traditional education model, and in the teaching process, they tend to focus on theoretical indoctrination, which leads to students’ difficulties in meeting the needs of jobs after graduation, which is obviously contrary to the purpose of the state’s establishment of vocational education. Therefore, it is extremely important to construct the internship practice course construction of applied chemistry specialty with vocational education characteristics. This thesis will try to analyze the ways and means of constructing the internship practice courses of applied chemistry majors, and I hope it has certain reference value.
