In order to overcome negative demographic trends in the Russian Federation, measures to stimulate the birth rate have been developed and financed at the federal and sub-federal levels. At the moment, on the one hand, there is a tendency to centralize expenditures for these purposes at the federal level, on the other hand, the coverage of the subjects of the Russian Federation, which introduce sub-federal (subnational) maternity capital (SMC), is expanding. The study was recognized to answer the question: whether the widespread introduction of SMC is justified, whether the effect of its use depends on the level of subsidization of the region and the degree of decentralization of expenditures.
This research evaluates the regionalization of tourism in Hungary, revealing the breakdown of the national gross domestic product (GDP) of tourism. It also explores the density, spatial variations, and features of these indicators. A multimodal approach is used to evaluate the competitiveness of Hungarian counties, and the distribution of these tourism regions is analyzed using the tourism penetration index. Furthermore, regional GDP is calculated for the whole territory of Hungary. The study identifies significant regional disparities in tourism competitiveness, highlighting Budapest-Central Danube as the most competitive region and Lake Balaton as underperforming despite its potential. The research contributes by providing a detailed regional GDP analysis and emphasizing the need for targeted policy interventions to enhance tourism development across all regions.
Researchers need to seek the opinions of individuals about what they think related to neuromarketing and its applications. This study is intended to reveal the conceptual perception of neuromarketing. In this context, a comparative analysis was designed for university students studying in social sciences and health sciences due to the interdisciplinary nature of neuromarketing. Thus, it was investigated in which areas the conceptual perception of neuromarketing was higher and how it was perceived at the same time. Survey method was used to collect data. The relevant literature was scanned to determine the questions in the survey, and previous studies in this field were taken into account. Accordingly, the survey consists of two parts. In the first part, there are 6 questions to determine the demographic characteristics of the participants. In the second part, 14 questions were included to determine the conceptual perception of neuromarketing. The questions to the participants were evaluated with a 5-point Likert scale (from 1 = disagree strongly to 5 = agree strongly). It was concluded that there were 499 valid surveys (n = 499). As a result, it was seen that participants in social sciences and health sciences differed significantly in the conceptual perception of neuromarketing (p = 0.000). It was found that the perception level of social sciences is higher than health sciences.
Despite being controversial, teacher tenure policies are understudied, particularly in higher education contexts outside the Western world. Using semi-structured interviews with 15 university faculty members, this study explored how tenure systems influence the teaching practices, motivations, and job satisfaction of language teachers in Macau's universities. It was revealed that Macau implemented competitive, “up or out” tenure policies that were based on research output. Faculty were anxious as vague expectations heightened research priorities over teaching quality and student support. Requirements also strained collegial relationships as faculty goals focused on promotion. Veteran professors demonstrated resilience, maintaining intrinsic motivation despite policies. They advocated improving policies by promoting transparency, balancing workloads, accommodating disciplines, and communicating effectively. Using empirical data, this study identifies key policy implications for supporting teacher motivation while balancing inequality constraints. It provides empirical insight into optimizing tenure for teacher engagement and fulfillment.
This study will explore the direct and indirect impacts of collaborative governance innovation on organizational value creation in higher vocational education in China in the context of the digital era. This paper employs a mixed research methodology to construct and validate a model of the relationship between collaborative governance, digital competence, value chain restructuring, and value creation. This study first adopted an exploratory sequential design. In the qualitative interviews, 15 experts from education, business, and other related fields were used as respondents to explore accurate variable factors and determine the value of the research framework. The quantitative research used structural equation analysis to analyze 979 valid online questionnaires. Finally, the rationality of the research results was verified through case studies. The findings are clear: collaborative governance significantly positively impacts value creation, indirectly affecting organizational value creation through value chain restructuring. Furthermore, digital capabilities significantly contribute to the value chain restructuring process. This paper provides a theoretical basis and practical guidance for higher vocational education organizations to improve their governance and innovation capabilities.
This study investigates the role of property quality in shaping booking intentions within the dynamic landscape of the hospitality sector. A comprehensive approach, integrating qualitative and quantitative methodologies, is employed, utilising Airdna’s dataset spanning from July 2016 to June 2020. Multiple regression models, including interaction terms, are applied to scrutinise the moderating role of property quality. The study unveils unexpected findings, particularly a counterintuitive negative correlation between property quality and booking intentions in Model 7, challenging conventional assumptions. Theoretical implications call for a deeper exploration of contextual nuances and psychological intricacies influencing guest preferences, urging a re-evaluation of established models within hospitality management. On a practical note, the study emphasises the significance of continuous quality improvement and dynamic strategies aligned with evolving consumer expectations. The unexpected correlation prompts a shift towards more context-specific approaches in understanding and managing guest behavior, offering valuable insights for both academia and the ever-evolving landscape of the hospitality industry.
