In the highly competitive employment environment, most college students have left their jobs for a short time after employment, and attention should be paid to students’ career adaptation. However, the further influence of skilled goal orientation, social support and career-determined self-efficacy on college students’ career adaptation needs to be confirmed. This study analyzes the effects of these factors on college students’ career adaptation. This study aims to analyze the impact of mastery goal orientation, social support, and vocational decision self-efficacy on career adaptation among 224 university students in East China. The results indicated that university students generally exhibit positive levels of mastery goal orientation, social support, vocational decision self-efficacy, and overall career adaptation. Female students demonstrate higher levels of mastery goal orientation, social support, vocational decision self-efficacy, and career adaptation compared to male students. As students progress in their academic years, their levels of mastery goal orientation, social support, vocational decision self-efficacy, and career adaptation tend to increase. Students majoring in humanities and social sciences have higher level than students majoring in science and engineering in all factors. Students majoring in humanities and social sciences exhibit more optimism in all factors compared to students in science and technology fields. The relationships among these factors show positive correlations. Mastery goal orientation, social support, and vocational decision self-efficacy all have positive effects on career adaptation. Among these, family support stands out as the most influential subordinate factor of social support on career adaptation. The most influential subordinate factor of vocational decision self-efficacy on career adaptation is conscious decision-making. Therefore, male, lower grade, science and engineering college students are the groups that need to be paid attention to in improving career adaptation. Skilled goal orientation, family support and conscious decision making have a better effect on the improvement of career adaptation. These results can provide important reference information for universities, counselors and college students in the training of career planning, and theoretically enrich the relevant research on college students’ career adaptation, and provide certain enlightenment for future researchers.
Heat transfer enhancement (HTE) is a topic of everlasting importance in thermal engineering research. The latest focuses in this field are on nanosolutions for more efficient thermal transmission fluids (a) and designs of metallic foams (b) Metallic foams provide extended surfaces for HTE and possess advantages such as a high value of Cp, high thermal conductivity (TC) and being light weight. nanosolutions, on the other hand, can be used as an efficient HT medium as they exhibit higher TCs in comparison to base fluids. This review paper summarizes the physical properties of nanosolutions and or within the metal foam, focusing on HT and flow properties of nanosolutions, metal foam and combined NS-metal foam systems. The inspiration novelty for this review is the basic transference identifications for the HT enhancement of nanosolutions in porous media. The aim of the work is to provide insight on how nanosolutions in conjunction with porous media can be useful for HTE.
The process management variable and the service quality variable date most prominently from the beginning of the last century, and therefore, in organizations from different parts of the world, whose search was to contribute effectively to administrative tasks, facing the challenges of constant changes and evaluations. In Peru, both variables were implemented since 2018, by technical standards, in order to contribute and improve public institutional work. Thus, the objective was to know the most outstanding characteristics of process management and service quality, using studies from different entities at the ecumenical level and revealing their main benefits of application and contribution. Furthermore, based on the systematic and methodical review of scientific articles from databases indexed to multiple journals, which are registered and organized in databases such as WOS and SCOPUS, thus theorizing their authors and perspectives. For this study, the documentary analysis technique and the data collection guide were considered as an instrument; in accordance with the PRISMA method. Finally, it is concluded that process management are methods available in an organization to provide effective results using resources efficiently, with dimensions of analysis, monitoring, and process improvements, contributing to organizational and strategic productivity; Likewise, the quality of the service is user satisfaction when judging the value of some service, dimensioning, analyzing needs, as well as evaluating, supervising and improving the service, fulfilling needs with knowledge of their expectations.
This study aims to examine the entrepreneurial activities of 240 women in the districts of Konaseema, East Godavari, and Kakinada during 2021–2022, focusing on the diverse range of 286 enterprises they managed across 69 business types. These enterprises were tailored to local resources and market demands, with coconut wholesale, cattle breeding, and provision shops being the most common. The study also analyzes income distribution, noting that one-third of the women earned between ₹50,000–1,00,000 annually, while only 0.70% earned over ₹5,00,000. More than half of the enterprises served as the primary income source for their families. The research highlights the significant role these women entrepreneurs play in their communities, their job satisfaction derived from financial independence and social empowerment, and the challenges they face, such as limited capital and market access. Finally, the study offers recommendations to empower these women to seize entrepreneurial opportunities and enhance their success.
Medicare, a major healthcare program under the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has extended telemedicine services within several states in the US for different specialties for which it reimburses in order to establish a qualitative and accessible healthcare system. In parallel, it has been seen that teleradiology services by American Board Certified radiologists based offshore can significantly supplement healthcare delivery in the US by mitigating the shortage of radiologists and enhance outcomes of patient care especially for after-hours emergency work. Teleradiology can help workflow by improving workload distribution, lowering the cost of reporting, shortening turn-around-time for reports, and improving quality of life for staff. The aim of the article is to provide perspective on Medicare reimbursement of offshore telereporting services. We submit that due to its value proposition and contribution to healthcare, offshore telereporting by American Board Certified Radiologists is worthy of Medicare reimbursement and should be re-evaluated for its credits.
