The effect of isocyanate trimer on the flame retardancy mechanism of polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam was studied in three aspects, including the mechanism of thermal decomposition in the condensed phase, the barrier mechanism of carbon layer formation on the surface in the condensed phase, and the mechanism in the gaseous phase, by using infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, thermal analysis, a cone calorimeter, and high-temperature pyrolysis gas chromatography mass spectrometry. The results show that the trimmer can improve the thermal stability of the PIR foam and is not easily decomposed in the combustion. The trimmer can increase the carbon content of the PIR foam to 29.9% of that of the polyurethane (PU) foam. The carbon layer formed is denser, and it can retard heat and oxygen and thus improve the flame retardant properties; trimer can reduce the release of flammable polyol gas, decompose into more carbon dioxide, which is an inert gas, and it has certain flame retardant effects in the gaseous phase.
Hospital waste containing antibiotics is toxic to the ecosystem. Ciprofloxacin is one of the essential, widely used antibiotics and is often detected in water bodies and soil. It is vital to treat these medical wastes, which urge new research towards waste management practices in hospital environments themselves. Ultimately minimizes its impact in the ecosystem and prevents the spread of antibiotic resistance. The present study highlights the decomposition of ciprofloxacin using nano-catalytic ZnO materials by reactive oxygen species (ROS) process. The most effective process to treat the residual antibiotics by the photocatalytic degradation mechanism is explored in this paper. The traditional co-precipitation method was used to prepare zinc oxide nanomaterials. The characterization methods, X-Ray diffraction analysis (XRD), Fourier Transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Ulraviolet-Visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), Scanning Electron microscopy (SEM) and X-Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) have done to improve the photocatalytic activity of ZnO materials. The mitigation of ciprofloxacin catalyzed by ZnO nano-photocatalyst was described by pseudo-first-order kinetics and chemical oxygen demand (COD) analysis. In addition, ZnO materials help to prevent bacterial species, S. aureus and E. coli, growth in the environment. This work provides some new insights towards ciprofloxacin degradation in efficient ways.
Idiomatic phrase are one of the lexical units. Many second-language learners showing great enthusiasm for using idiomatic expressions because of the rich cultural factors inherent in them and the vibrant, hilarious language that is close to life-like.However, the idiomatic terms are so complicated that they frequently cause foreign learners to struggle with learning and comprehending Chinese. With its own advantages, the idea of lexical chunks has the potential to be a game changer in the teaching of idiomatic.
This study provides an empirical examination of the design and modification of China’s urban social security programme. In doing so, this study complements the popular assumption regarding the correlation between economic growth and social security development. Focusing on the economic and political motivations behind the ruling party’s decision to implement social security, this study first discusses the modification of urban social security and welfare in China. It then empirically demonstrates the mechanisms behind the system’s operation. This study proposes the following hypothesis: in a country like China, a change in the doctrine of the ruling party will affect government alliances, negating the positive impact of economic growth on the development of social security. In demonstrating this hypothesis, this study identifies a political precondition impacting the explanatory power of popular conceptions of social security development.
