Work can be demanding, imposing challenges that can be detrimental to the job performance of employees. Efforts are therefore underway to develop practices and initiatives that may improve job performance and well-being. These include interventions based on mindfulness, inclusive leadership and work engagement. In the present study, authors have presented an association of inclusive leadership and mindfulness towards job performance through employee work engagement among secondary teachers in the context of Hong Kong. The sample size of 263 teachers working from three secondary schools in Sha Tin, Hong Kong has been incorporated in this study. A structured questionnaire designed on a 5-point Likert scale has been used based on purposive sampling by analysis of IBM SPSS 27 and Smart PLS version 4.0.9 by applying a structural equation modelling approach (SEM). The results indicated a strong positive influence on employee work engagement and job performance. Moreover, the bootstrap investigation showed that mindfulness and inclusive leadership were significantly associated with employees’ work engagement in the presence of mediators’ work engagement. This study adds to the very scarce literature on inclusive leadership and mindfulness. In addition, this research is the first study to test the mindfulness skill, inclusive leadership and job performance relationship. Furthermore, this is the first study to explore the concept of mindfulness and inclusive leadership in the Hong Kong context. Moreover, the findings of this research can be beneficial for future theory development on mindfulness skill and inclusive leadership in cross-cultural contexts.
The effectiveness and efficiency of e-learning system in industry significantly depend on users’ acceptance and adoption. This is specifically determined by external and internal factors represented by subjective norms (SN) and experience (XP), both believed to affect users’ perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU). Users’ acceptance of e-learning system is influenced by the immensity of region, often hampered by inadequate infrastructure support. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate behavioral intention to use e-learning in the Indonesian insurance industry by applying Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). To achieve this objective, Jabotabek and Non-Jabotabek regions were used as moderating variables in all related hypotheses. An online survey was conducted to obtain data from 800 respondents who were Indonesian insurance industry employees. Subsequently, Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used to evaluate the hypotheses, and Multi-Group Analysis (MGA) to examine the role of region. The results showed that out of the seven hypotheses tested, only one was rejected. Furthermore, XP had no significant effect on PU, and the most significant correlation was found between PEOU and PU. In each relationship path model, the role of region (Jabodetabek and Non Jabodetabek) had no significant differences. These results were expected to provide valuable insights into the components of e-learning acceptability for the development of a user-friendly system in the insurance industry.
Transit-oriented development is a concept that focuses on developing areas in and around transit nodes to create added value. The concept concentrates on integrating mass public transport networks with non-motorized modes of transport, minimizing the usage of motorized vehicles, and fostering the growth of dense, mixed-use areas with medium to high spatial intensity. This research examines the effects of altering the business model to create Transit Oriented Development (TOD) in Jakarta, contrasting it with PT Moda Raya Transports (PT MRT). We collected data by conducting in-depth interviews with experts and distributing questionnaires to seven respondents who work at this We used the Business Model Canvas (BMC) to identify business models and the internal resources needed for the implementation process. process. Therefore, six elements in BMC were used to conduct changes, and based on the results, RBV analysis was pe PT MRT needs to enhance its internal power to a competitive advantage level in order to effectively manage changes. This study examined the role of cryptocurrencies in tourism and their acceptance across EU regions, with particular attention to the digital transformation precipitated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis focuses on the relationship between cryptocurrency acceptance points and the intensity of tourism, highlighting that the acceptance of cryptocurrencies is significantly correlated with tourism services. The literature review highlighted that Web 3.0, especially blockchain technology and decentralized applications, opens new possibilities in tourism, including secure and transparent transactions, and more personalized travel experiences. The research investigated cryptocurrency acceptance points and the intensity of tourism within the EU. The study illuminates that the acceptance of cryptocurrencies significantly correlates with tourism services. The data and methodology demonstrated the analysis methods for examining the relationship between cryptocurrency acceptance points and tourism intensity, including the use of clustering neural networks and Eurostat data utilization. The results showed a positive correlation between the number of cryptocurrency acceptance points and tourism intensity in the EU, affirming the research hypothesis. According to the regression analysis results, each additional cryptocurrency acceptance point is associated with an increase in tourism intensity. The significance of the research lies in highlighting the growing role of digital payment solutions, especially cryptocurrencies, in tourism, and their potential impacts on the EU economy. The analysis supports that the intertwining of tourism and digital financial technologies opens new opportunities in the sector for both providers and tourists.
This article explores the development and legislative process of concession agreements within the framework of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in the EU, tracing their origins to the United Kingdom in the early 1990s. Driven by national policies, the Ministry of Finance in China has promoted PPPs in infrastructure and public services. This study focuses on the basic principles, legal nature, and general rules of EU concession agreements, aiming to provide legal strategies for Chinese franchising agreement legislation by drawing on the EU’s legislative experiences.
