In recent years, with the wide application of English picture books as children's English enlightenment reading material, it has become an effective auxiliary teaching material for primary students to learn a second foreign language. This paper mainly introduces the concept and characteristics of English picture books so that readers can clearly understand the research object. Secondly, it gives an explanation of the current situation of the application of English picture books in reading education in our country, and demonstrates the importance of English picture books in the field of education. Finally, based on the reading teaching model of PWP and combined with relevant theories of education, specific strategies are proposed for teaching English picture books. I hope this paper will be helpful to the teaching of picture books.
The rapid progress of information technology has made public online participation in policy formulation an inevitable product of modern government reshaping and reconstruction. However, compared with developed countries, citizens’ online participation in policy formulation in China started relatively late. Thus, in order to explore an effective and efficient method for Chinese citizens’ participation in policy formulation, this research made a brief review of the experiences from the typical developed country of United States of America at first, followed by some other developed countries such as Singapore, South Korea, and Japan in Asia with similar situations. Still, combined with the current situation of the China itself into consideration, this research further proposes targeted recommendations. It is expected that the findings in this research could provide some references for the Chinese government to form more effective and efficient theoretical frameworks targeted at the future development trends of the Chinese society and accordingly, to improve the construction of democracy in China.
This paper explores the influence of the concept of "moral education" on physical education, and focuses on the application of Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR) responsibility teaching model in physical education. Physical education teaching is not only the teaching of skills, but also the indoctrination of values. Through the thought of "cultivating people by virtue", we can make physical education based on moral education and return to the essence of education. The TPSR model makes this idea concrete, emphasizes the personal process and social responsibility, and includes the cultivation of students' sense of responsibility, team spirit and self-management ability in physical education teaching. Through theoretical discussion and empirical analysis, this study revealed the practical application and effect of TPSR model in physical education teaching, proved the importance of this teaching model, and put forward the construction idea of TPSR physical education teaching model. Future research can expand more application scenarios of the TPSR model to achieve better quality and more comprehensive physical education.

The doctrine of the mean emphasizes that people should “be kind to nature”. It attaches great importance to the building of a society in harmony with nature. Therefore, it has great enlightenment on the relationship between man and nature.

To ensure the long-term stability of the country and the well-being of the vast majority of the people, it is necessary to be adept at strengthening social governance, continuously improve and improve the governance system that is suitable for the development of modern society with scientific thinking methods, and enhance the level and capacity of governance in China. Based on this, this paper discusses how to promote the innovation of social governance in the digital age, and proposes innovative ideas on the model of social organization governance under the guidance of <Economic Diversification Plan for Macao SAR (2024–2028)>.
