In the current context of new engineering, the teaching of the course "Civil Engineering Construction Organization and Management" should be targeted and focused. Chinese language and culture education in colleges and universities provides new requirements and new goals for college personnel training. In the whole teaching process, it is necessary to pay attention to the cultivation of students’ values and help students establish a correct humanistic spirit. This paper analyzes the value of Chinese language and culture education in colleges and universities, and discusses the teaching reform of “college Chinese” course “based on Chinese language and culture”.

The epidemic has had a great impact on people and improved students' awareness of paying attention to their own health. Through the investigation of higher vocational students, the author and the research team collected 4741 questionnaires for research and analysis, and analyzed the data in four aspects: the impact of the epidemic on sports concept and psychology, the impact of intelligent equipment on physical exercise, the purpose of sports activities and the selection of online teaching content, and the impact of gender differences. This paper puts forward some suggestions on the development of online teaching of physical education courses in higher vocational colleges.

This paper will focus on the analysis of the current situation of English teaching in colleges and universities, and on the basis of the concept and scope of applied linguistics, put forward some practical application strategies, hoping to provide a reference for the innovation of teaching mode and teaching methods of English curriculum in colleges and universities.

This study aims to explore the perceptions of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) of primary and secondary school teachers in C City, China, as well as the challenges they face in developing these abilities. Through narrative inquiry involving five current teachers, the research collected their personal experiences in the development of teaching and academic abilities, with data gathered through semi-structured interviews. The findings reveal that teachers are primarily driven by external forces, professional identity, personal growth, and the need to improve teaching quality in their efforts to enhance teaching and academic abilities. However, they also encounter challenges such as teaching pressures, time management difficulties, insufficient school support, and declining energy. To overcome these obstacles, teachers have adopted strategies such as time management, task allocation, and cognitive enhancement. The study concludes by recommending that through the combined efforts of teachers, schools, and society, a strong professional belief system should be established, and a supportive environment should be created to collaboratively promote the development of teaching and academic abilities among primary and secondary school teachers, thereby fostering their professional growth.
