The psychological health issues of college students are related to their growth and development. Only by implementing psychological health education and maintaining the physical and mental health development of college students can the quality and effectiveness of education be systematically improved. This article briefly analyzes the current situation of psychological health of local normal university students based on their psychological characteristics, and proposes methods for implementing scientific psychological health education for college students in combination with existing problems. The aim is to improve the effectiveness of talent cultivation and contribute to the development of local education.

China-Africa economic integration generally looks lucid, as evidenced by rising bilateral trade, as well as Chinese FDI, aid, and debt financing for infrastructure development in Africa. The engagement, however, appears to be strategically channeled to benefit China’s resource endowment strategy. First, Chinese FDI in Africa is primarily resource-seeking, with minimum manufacturing value addition. Second, China has successfully replicated the Angola model in other resource-rich African countries, and most infrastructure loans-for-natural resources barter deals are said to be undervalued. There is also a resource-backed loan arrangement in place, in which default Chinese loans are repaid in natural resources. Third, while China claims that its financial aid is critical to Africa’s growth and development processes, a significant portion of the aid is spent on non-development projects such as building parliaments and government buildings. This lend credence to the notion that China uses aid to gain diplomatic recognition from African leaders, with resource-rich and/or institutionally unstable countries being the most targeted. The preceding arguments support why Africa’s exports to China dominate other China’s financial flows to Africa, and consist mainly of natural resources. Accordingly, this study aims to forecast China-Africa economic integration through the lens of China’s demand for natural resources and Africa’s demand for capital, both of which are reflected in Africa’s exports to China. The study used a MODWT-ARIMA hybrid forecasting technique to account for the short period of available China-Africa bilateral trade dataset (1992–2021), and found that Africa’s exports to China are likely to decline from US$ 119.20 billion in 2022 to US$ 13.68 billion in 2026 on average. This finding coincides with a period in which Chinese demand for Africa’s natural resources is expected to decline.

Since its introduction to China from India, Chan has become a Buddhist school with Chinese characteristics. In the process of its development, because of its tenet of “special transmission outside of the doctrine that does not establish words and letters”, Chan school encountered difficulties in realizing the practice of living. In recent years, Buddhist masters have made many contributions to the development of Chan School. Master Xuyun’s advocacy of Chan philosophy and practice made it possible to popularize Chan in people’s lives. Master Xuyun’s initiatives to promote the development of Chan School have filled out a complete picture of the history of Chan Buddhism.

With rapid economic development and continuous improvement of the political system, education has received attention from all sectors of society. Education has existed since the emergence of human society and has always been closely intertwined with human development. Humans are the primary subject of education. For educators engaged in the field of education, educational psychology is a well-known discipline and an important theoretical foundation for conducting educational activities and teaching in the future. The physical and mental development of contemporary children and adolescents has undergone significant changes compared to the past. For schools, it is of great significance for educators to effectively apply the relevant knowledge of educational psychology in communication and teaching with students to enhance teaching effectiveness and promote individual physical and mental development. This article discusses and studies how to apply educational psychology in teaching activities.

In the process of constructing and building the industry English curriculum system in the new era, higher education institutions should clarify the corresponding curriculum teaching focus and direction, analyze, optimize, and improve the defects and deficiencies in the English curriculum teaching system. This article briefly analyzes and explores the strategies for constructing the English course system for waterway transportation and maritime management majors at present.

Innovation in teaching models is a basic requirement of the Ministry of Education for schools. If a school wants to achieve development, it cannot adhere to traditional rigid teaching models. At the same time, innovating teaching models is also an important requirement for improving education and teaching effectiveness. Through innovation in teaching models, the inherent drawbacks of the current teaching model can be removed and the classroom teaching effect can be better played. The rapidly developing internet era provides unprecedented development opportunities for innovative teaching models. Schools should establish internet learning platforms to encourage students to actively and independently participate in online learning. This paper discusses the classroom teaching model in vocational colleges under the background of "Internet plus", and how it serves our daily teaching activities.
