Deconstructing and Constructing Women’s Empowerment Advertising in Mass Media

The study of women’s image has always been of great interest to the academic community. In recent years, the focus of advertising and marketing has gradually shifted to female empowerment from the original focus on gender role stereotyping. By analyzing the typical cases of “female empowermentism” in advertisements, this paper deconstructs “female empowerment advertisements” from three aspects: self-confidence, self-empowerment and self-worth. Finally, the paper constructs a structure for thinking about women’s empowerment advertisements from the three aspects of advertisement role modeling, women’s image, and advertisement supervision.

Missing Value Filling Research Based on Ensemble Learning

This paper studies missing value filling and compares the filling effects of five methods: Mean, KNN, Random Forest, GBDT, and Stacking under different missing proportions, proving the superiority of ensemble learning algorithms in filling performance when multiple feature values are missing. Then the missing value filling method of KNN+integrated learning is proposed to further improve the filling performance.

Temperature characteristics of a wood-insulated refrigeration system for chilling and preservation of agricultural products

The scarcity of the insulators that are required for refrigeration has made it necessary to use locally available materials that can achieve the desired refrigeration. This work presents the performance evaluation of a refrigerator utilizing a locally available material, which is wood particles that have been converted to particle board, as one of its insulators. A vapor compression refrigeration system was designed and fabricated to chill and preserve agricultural products, which are eggs, yogurt, and tomatoes. The various temperatures at which the agricultural products became chilled were compared with their theoretical preservation temperatures obtainable in literature, thereby evaluating the performance of the refrigerator. The temperature of 11 ℃, which was recorded for the egg in the present experiment, is lower than the theoretical preservation temperatures of 18 ℃ to 21 ℃ for an egg. The temperature of 7 ℃, which was recorded for the yogurt, is approximately equal to its theoretical preservation temperature of 5 ℃. The temperature of 8 ℃, which was recorded for the tomato, is lower than the theoretical preservation temperatures of 7 ℃ to 10 ℃ of tomato. This work has revealed that wood particles have the potential to achieve refrigeration, as well as chill and preserve agricultural products.

An exploratory review of the fintech influence field

Fintech as a three-dimensional phenomenon reflects the rapidly changing technological, financial and business environment. The bibliometric analysis of scientific articles allowed us to identify the main themes and create a map of the field of fintech influences. Systematization of scientific articles revealed the influence of economic development and socio-demographic inequality on fintech development. Government regulatory policies can accelerate the digitisation of financial services and financial inclusion and help the fintech sector face geopolitical challenges. Fintech’s impact was divided into three areas: financial stability and sustainable development, the business ecosystem and human behaviour. The research we summarised allowed us to identify the mechanisms through which fintech influences various fields. A complex approach to the influence of fintech enables us to understand the phenomenon and make better decisions.
