Industrial zones require careful and meticulous planning because industry can have a major impact on the surrounding environment. The research location is the northern part of West Java Province which is a gold triangle area named Rebana Triangle Area. The purpose of this study is to measure the weight of the research variables in determining industrial zones from the results of fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (F-AHP) analysis, assessing the location of industrial zones in the research area based on important variables in determining industrial zones. The result of this study is the weight of the research variables in determining the industrial zone from the results of the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (F-AHP) analysis obtained is the availability of electrical infrastructure with an influence weight of 15.00%. The second most influential factor is the availability of telecommunications infrastructure with an effect of 13.02%, the distance of land to roads and access of 11.76%, land use of 11.21%, distance of land to public facilities of 9.99%, labour cost work is 9.60%, the distance of land to the river is 8.19%, the price of land is 7.97%, the slope is 6.79%, and the type of soil is 6.43%. This GIS analysis model can be a reference model for the government in determining the potential of industrial zones in other regions in Indonesia. A total of 4822.41 Ha or the equivalent of 3.50% of the total area of 6 (six) regencies/cities research areas which are very suitable to be used as industrial zones. The district that has the largest area of potential industrial zone is Majalengka, while Cirebon does not have a location that has the potential for industrial zone locations. Based on the results of the analysis of 10 (ten) variables for determining industrial zones from expert opinion, a draft policy proposal for the government can be proposed, among others. These 10 (ten) variables are variables that are expected to be mandatory variables in planning and determining the location of potential industrial areas.
Background: The hotel industry is labor-intensive. Both technical and behavioral aspects of quality are considered to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction among the internal and external customers as a whole, creating a competitive advantage. Significance: Recruiting and selecting the right people is paramount to the success of the hospitality industry in the sense that the best delivery will be enhanced if proper procedures are used and the right people are selected who can handle their tasks to the best satisfaction of the customer. Method: The goal of the research was to explore the recruiting and selection practices/methods used in the hotel industry, as well as their employability. The study aims to explore the differences in the mix of recruitment and selection methods implemented in 4- and 5-star and different category hotels. As an enterprise, HRD comprises change, learning, and performance. Results: Based on the findings, it is imperative to invest in human resources as a capital asset to boost staff entities in terms of knowledge and capabilities, thereby contributing to better service quality and enhanced customer satisfaction. This would help fulfil the organizations’ objectives. Conclusion: The study concludes that the selected candidates are being analyzed properly and effectively. It is very important to note that the results of this study cannot be generalized as it deals with a restricted clientele, and this could only add on variables and instances to form a common standpoint for the other hotel managers.
With the development of material life, the importance of plants in life has become increasingly prominent, and indoor flowers are also popular. As we all know, plants have purified air, refreshing brainwashing, promote sleep, sterilization and other effects, such as mint, Clivia, aloe and so on. Therefore, the choice of plants corresponding to their own needs is particularly important, while to note that some flowers should not be placed indoors. And different flowers on the water, temperature, light, soil and other requirements are not the same.
Extensive reading has enjoyed the increasing popularity from L2 educators as a potentially effective form of L2 reading instruction. However, many researchers tend to ignore the importance of selection of material. The paper is an attempt to explore the appropriate criteria of qualified graded readers, which can be helpful for English teachers and learners in ER program.
Among major global threats to papaya cultivation, papaya ringspot virus (PRSV) is the most challenging one. In the absence of any PRSV resistant commercial papaya cultivar, PRSV management is restricted to minimizing yield losses. ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Regional Station, Pune has developed PRSV tolerant dioecious papaya lines, Pune Selection (PS)-1, PS-2, PS-3 and PS-5. Being dioecious these lines have limited acceptability among farmers. Gynodioecious population from these lines were developed and characterized. They are numbered PS-1-1, PS-2-1, PS-3-1 and PS-5-1. These lines were characterized against prevailing commercial gynodioecious cultivar, Red Lady, for five generations. The average plant height of PS-2-1 and PS-5-1 (183 cm) was more than Red Lady (158 cm), however, stem girth of all lines was lesser than Red Lady. The fruiting height of all lines was less than Red Lady (87 cm). Length of the fruiting column of all lines was more than Red Lady (37 cm), except in PS-1-1. Fruit yield of all lines was more than Red Lady (16 kg/plant). Intensity of PRSV infection in Red Lady (48%) was considerably more than all lines. These lines can be used for developing PRSV tolerant gynodioecious papaya variety.
