Under the background of the continuous development of science and technology, the era of big data has come in an all-round way, and big data technology has also been widely used in the education industry. The course of financial management in applied colleges and universities is a highly applied course, which focuses on the substance of the course. Teachers need to create a good learning environment for students with the help of information technology, and constantly cultivate students' professional skills and professionalism. In order to improve the quality of financial management courses in colleges and universities, this paper mainly analyzes the management courses in application-oriented colleges and universities, expounds the factors affecting the practical teaching quality of management courses in colleges and universities, and analyzes the teaching methods of management courses in application-oriented colleges and universities. Finally, it is concluded that only when teachers constantly improve their teaching level, can students' learning level be improved by combining theory with practice.
Purpose: There have been many studies on corporate social responsibility. Still, research on the dual relationship showing the impact of management control on corporate social responsibility and business performance has not been exciting researchers. The article also identifies and measures the elements of management control that affect compliance with corporate social responsibility and business performance. At the same time, the paper also analyzes the influence of compliance with corporate social responsibility on business performance. From the research results, listed companies will see the importance of designing management control and complying with corporate social responsibility to maximize the business’s profits. Findings: The article demonstrates the practicality of institutional theory in the relationship between management control, corporate social responsibility, and business performance. Institutional theory influences the relationship between management control, CSR, and business performance by highlighting the role of external institutional pressures, legitimacy, and conformity to societal norms. Companies that strategically integrate institutional expectations into their management control systems can enhance their CSR efforts, improve their reputation, and contribute to better business performance. Methodology: We collect data on 195 manufacturing enterprises listed on the Vietnam stock market in 6 sectors. This study’s main data analysis method is the structural equation modeling method (SEM). The article used AMOS software to evaluate and measure the influence of each factor. Practical implications: The article has analyzed five aspects of management control to corporate social responsibility and business performance: Size of the Board of Directors (BOD), percentage of independent members in the BOD, and concurrence. CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors, state ownership ratio and foreign shareholder ownership rate. The results show that a company with a CEO who is not the Chairman of the BOD will have a higher level of CSR compliance than a company with a CEO who is also the Chairman of the BOD. The larger the Board size, the higher the level of CSR, but This has not been verified for the company’s business performance. The higher the foreign ownership ratio, the better the CSR compliance; however, this has the opposite direction for the state ownership rate. The higher the percentage of independent members on the Board of Directors, the lower the level of CSR compliance. In terms of impact on business performance in the enterprise: The higher the company’s compliance with corporate social responsibility, the better it’s business performance. A company with a CEO who holds the position of BOD will have lower business performance than companies with a CEO who does not hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Companies with a high percentage of state ownership will have lower business performance. The higher the percentage of independent members on the Board of Directors, the lower the business performance. This study critically examines the relationship between Total Quality Management (TQM) and Service Quality (SQ) within Dubai’s housing sector, with a specific focus on the moderating influence of blockchain technology (BT) in this relationship. Employing a quantitative approach grounded in a deductive research strategy and positivist epistemology, data were gathered from a sample of industry professionals and subjected to rigorous analysis using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that the deliberate deployment of TQM methodologies leads to significant improvements in SQ metrics, and the catalytic role of BT further enhances these service quality improvements. The study highlights the transformative potential of BT in recalibrating conventional paradigms of service delivery within the housing sector. Specifically, the analysis reveals that BT plays a pivotal moderating role in the relationship between TQM practices and SQ outcomes, thereby enriching our comprehension of the intricate interplay between these constructs. The study concludes by furnishing nuanced insights into the multifaceted dynamics shaping SQ within the housing sector, while also delineating avenues for future inquiry.
Purpose: This article explores the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Human Resource Management (HRM) in the UAE, focusing on the critical challenges of fairness, bias, and privacy in recruitment processes. The study aims to understand how AI is transforming HR practices in the UAE, highlighting the issues of bias and privacy while examining real-world applications of AI in recruitment, employee engagement, talent management, and learning and development. Methodology: Through case study methodology, detailed insights are gathered from these companies to understand real-world applications of AI in HRM. A comparative analysis is conducted, comparing AI-driven HRM practices in UAE-based organizations with international examples to highlight global trends and best practices. Findings: The research reveals that while AI holds significant potential to streamline HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance monitoring, and talent management, it also discusses challenges and strategies companies face and develop in integrating AI into their HRM processes, reflecting the broader context of AI adoption in the UAE’s HR landscape. Originality: This paper contributes to the growing body of literature on AI in HRM by focusing on the unique context of the UAE, a rapidly developing market with a highly diverse workforce. It highlights the specific challenges and opportunities faced by organizations in the UAE when implementing AI in HRM, particularly regarding fairness, bias, and data privacy.
Over the last two decades, governance for global health has garnered more attention from policymakers, decision-makers, and scholars from several disciplines. The health sector has also become more dynamic and complicated as a result of several factors that have influenced organizational development. The issue of sustainability is clearly raised with specific emphasis and urgency in the context of the global healthcare system. Some countries have been altering their healthcare systems to improve healthcare performance. University hospitals as the main providers of high-quality healthcare services in China, have an irreplaceable role in promoting the construction of healthy China. This study strategic triangle as an analytical framework to identify the key factors that influence university hospital in China and better comprehend how public value is conceptualized and implemented in practice. The study was conducted by qualitative method, five university hospitals designated as “Grade A tertiary hospitals” and semi-structed interviews were carried out with 33 participants, including experts, university hospital leadership level, and basic level. The study revealed that there are eight (8) major factors influencing the development of university hospitals in China. University hospital administrators must be prepared to assess and respond to factors that enhance or hinder implementation continuously and methodically. These insights can be used to improve early preparedness, but additional study in this area is required to better understand the driving factors, action models, and techniques for achieving sustainable development in university hospitals.
This study explores the influence of human resource empowerment on the establishment of green human resource management (GHRM) within Tehran's 14th district municipality. Utilizing a descriptive-analytical research approach, the study targets the practical implications of empowerment strategies on GHRM implementation. The research population consists of 1500 employees from the 14th district, based on the 2017 census. A sample of 306 respondents was selected using Morgan's table. Data were collected via a structured questionnaire developed from the study's conceptual framework and research hypotheses. The questionnaire's validity and reliability were confirmed through expert review and Cronbach's alpha (0.9). Descriptive statistics outline the background and primary variables, while inferential statistics, particularly the Pearson correlation test, were used to evaluate the hypotheses. Results indicate that human resource empowerment positively affects the establishment of GHRM in Tehran's 14th district municipality.
