Background: The hotel industry is labor-intensive. Both technical and behavioral aspects of quality are considered to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction among the internal and external customers as a whole, creating a competitive advantage. Significance: Recruiting and selecting the right people is paramount to the success of the hospitality industry in the sense that the best delivery will be enhanced if proper procedures are used and the right people are selected who can handle their tasks to the best satisfaction of the customer. Method: The goal of the research was to explore the recruiting and selection practices/methods used in the hotel industry, as well as their employability. The study aims to explore the differences in the mix of recruitment and selection methods implemented in 4- and 5-star and different category hotels. As an enterprise, HRD comprises change, learning, and performance. Results: Based on the findings, it is imperative to invest in human resources as a capital asset to boost staff entities in terms of knowledge and capabilities, thereby contributing to better service quality and enhanced customer satisfaction. This would help fulfil the organizations’ objectives. Conclusion: The study concludes that the selected candidates are being analyzed properly and effectively. It is very important to note that the results of this study cannot be generalized as it deals with a restricted clientele, and this could only add on variables and instances to form a common standpoint for the other hotel managers.
Through the combination of the geographic information systems (GIS) and the integrated information model, the stability of regional bank slope was comprehensively evaluated. First, a regional bank slope stability evaluation index system was established through studying seven selected factors (slope grade, slope direction, mountain shadow, elevation, stratigraphic lithology, geological structure and river action) that have an impact on the stability of the slope. Then, each factor was rasterized by GIS. According to the integrated information model, the evaluation index distribution map based on rasterized factors was obtained to evaluate the stability of the regional bank slope. Through the analysis of an actual project, it was concluded that the geological structure and stratigraphic lithology have a significant impact on the evaluation results. Most of the research areas were in the relatively low stable areas. The low and the relatively low stable areas accounted for 15.2% and 51.5% of the total study area respectively. The accuracy of slope evaluation results in the study area reached 95.41%.
This study evaluated the performance of several machine learning classifiers—Decision Tree, Random Forest, Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting, SVM, KNN, and Naive Bayes—for adaptability classification in online and onsite learning environments. Decision Tree and Random Forest models achieved the highest accuracy of 0.833, with balanced precision, recall, and F1-scores, indicating strong, overall performance. In contrast, Naive Bayes, while having the lowest accuracy (0.625), exhibited high recall, making it potentially useful for identifying adaptable students despite lower precision. SHAP (SHapley Additive exPlanations) analysis further identified the most influential features on adaptability classification. IT Resources at the University emerged as the primary factor affecting adaptability, followed by Digital Tools Exposure and Class Scheduling Flexibility. Additionally, Psychological Readiness for Change and Technical Support Availability were impactful, underscoring their importance in engaging students in online learning. These findings illustrate the significance of IT infrastructure and flexible scheduling in fostering adaptability, with implications for enhancing online learning experiences.
This research delves into sustainable educational management practices within Indonesian Islamic universities, aiming to shed light on the current trends, influential authors, co-authorship patterns, prevalent keywords, primary dissemination venues, gaps, and future research directions in this domain. Employing a bibliometric analysis methodology, data was collected using Lens.org software, encompassing publications from various academic databases to ensure a comprehensive exploration. The study reveals a growing interest in sustainability within Indonesian Islamic universities, emphasizing the need for concerted efforts to promote sustainable development. Key findings include identifying influential authors, prevalent keywords, and primary dissemination venues, offering valuable insights for researchers and practitioners in the field. Moreover, gaps and future research directions are highlighted, paving the way for further exploration and enhancement of sustainable educational management practices in Indonesian Islamic universities.

Concurrently, moratoriums on existing credit obligations have offered temporary relief, albeit with looming concerns regarding heightened corporate indebtedness. Moreover, the pandemic’s aftermath has witnessed a pronounced uptick in corporate borrowing, compounded by surging interest rates. This confluence underscores the exigency for companies to adopt sustainable financial strategies, mindful not only of short-term exigencies but also the enduring ramifications on financial stability. In navigating these challenges, a holistic approach to sustainability is imperative. Governments must ensure robust support mechanisms, while companies must proactively seek sustainable financing solutions. Concurrently, stakeholders must meticulously weigh the long-term repercussions of financial policy adjustments, thereby fortifying corporate resilience against future crises while safeguarding the stability of the global economy. In essence, the COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the critical imperative for sustainability in corporate finance. By heeding this call and embracing sustainable practices, businesses can navigate crises with greater resilience, ensuring not only their survival but also the enduring stability of the economic landscape.
