The paper proposes a methodology for the analysis and evaluation of the traffic scheme of Bulgarian cities. The authors combine spatial, network, and socio-economic analyses of cities with transport operators’ financial-economic evaluation, sociological studies of transport habits, and the possibilities of new information technologies for transport modeling (such as geographic information systems). The model proposes several approaches to optimize the municipality’s transport scheme. It results from a new need to improve urban traffic, the quality of transport services, and the integration of urban transport into the regional economy of Stara Zagora municipality. It presents a description, analysis, and outline of the opportunities for developing urban transport connectivity and mobility in Stara Zagora municipality. The research results show a deficit of transport connectivity between the different parts of the city, reflecting on the regional economy’s development and the efficiency of the environment and the population.
This study compares Human Resource Development (HRD) in Vietnam and Malaysia, looking at their methods, problems, and institutional frameworks in the context of ASEAN economic integration and Industry 4.0. Based on Cho and McLean’s (2004) integrated HRD model, this paper looks at recent research (from 2018 to 2023) to look at important topics such globalization, demographic changes, vocational training alignment, and technology disruption. Vietnam has a vast workforce, but it still has problems with low productivity, skill mismatches, and not being ready for the global market. On the other hand, Malaysia’s institutional HRD structures are making more progress, even though its workforce is getting older and not everyone is adapting to digital transformation at the same rate. The study shows that we need HRD policies that are tailored to each industry, training that is delivered in a decentralized way, and stronger relationships between the public and commercial sectors. It also stresses how important it is for national HRD policies to include global competences and initiatives that help everyone learn new skills. The study adds a unique framework for comparing HRD and gives policymakers, educators, and practitioners useful information, even though it is constrained by its use of secondary data. Future study should use mixed-methods to confirm results and look into interventions that work in specific situations. The study shows that Vietnam and Malaysia need personalized, inclusive, and forward thinking HRD systems to produce strong and competitive workforces in the post-pandemic, digital driven global economy.
Objective/Aim: In the context of a constantly changing legislative environment and the necessity for professionals to develop their skills, the research focuses on identifying effective methods and tools that facilitate efficient learning and professional development in the field of labour law. This study aimed to propose a pedagogical technology for the preparation and training of specialists in the field of labour law and to assess the effectiveness of the training based on the specified technology. Method: The study involved 124 participants, with 63 in the experimental group and 61 in the control group. Statistical analysis was performed using Microsoft Excel. The student’s t-test indicated significant improvements in the experimental group’s training effectiveness, confirming the proposed pedagogical technology’s efficacy. Results: Consequently, implementing training and education technology for specialists in the labour law field was proposed to enhance the indicators. The criteria for the preparation of specialists in the field of labour law were delineated, including knowledge of labour legislation, consulting and support skills, analytical skills, communication skills, and continuous learning. According to the criteria above, levels of preparation for specialists in the field of labour law were established, namely high, medium, and essential. The proposed training and education technology for specialists in the field of labour encompasses the following tools: The utilisation of online platforms and educational resources, virtual classes and simulations, the incorporation of multimedia materials, the integration of adaptive learning technologies, the implementation of project- and problem-oriented teaching methodologies, the incorporation of interactive methodologies, the incorporation of cloud technologies and mobile applications, and the provision of assessment and feedback. Conclusion: The proposed pedagogical technology effectively enhances the training and education of labour law specialists. The experimental group’s significant improvement in learning outcomes confirms the technology’s efficacy. Implication: The findings of this research hold significant social implications. Improved training and education of labour law specialists leads to a more competent and effective legal workforce. This, in turn, ensures better protection of workers’ rights and fairer employer-employee relations, contributing to overall social stability.
The Human Development Index, which accounts for both net foreign income and the total value of goods and services generated domestically, illustrates how income becomes less significant as Gross National Income (GNI) rises by using the logarithm of income. South Africa ranks 109th out of 189 countries in the Human Development Index (HDI) within the Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS) economic bloc, raising long-term sustainability concerns. The study explores the relationship between economic, demography, policy indicators and human development in South Africa. South Africa’s unique status as a developing country within the BRICS economic group, alongside its lengthy history of racial discrimination, calls for a sophisticated approach to understanding Human Development. Existing research considered economic, demography, policy indicators independently; the gap of understanding their interconnection and long-term effects in the South African contexts exists. The study addresses the gap by using Autoregressive-Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach to investigate the short-term and the long-term relationship between economic, demography, policy indicators and human development in South Africa. By discovering these links, the study hopes to provide useful insights for policymakers seeking to promote sustainable human development in South Africa. The findings indicate that growth in GDP is a key factor in the HDI since it shows that there are more financial resources available for human development. Imagining people’s functions in everyday life and work without the use of ICT, seems difficult. Their application is ubiquitous everywhere, regardless of which aspect it is viewed from, because it has a strong function in ensuring the competitiveness of various systems at the micro and macro levels. Numerous national and multinational strategies try to encourage educational systems to put a greater focus on ICT to more efficiently acquire skills, competencies, and knowledge, which should represent added value to all generations in the future. This article analyzes the progress of the ICT development index (IDI) in Scandinavian countries by comparing these countries in the European region. It is known that the Scandinavian countries belong to that part of the countries that have recognized the importance of involving ICT in education programs, which improves the economy of a certain country. Given this, the research reveals how ICTs play a key role in improving socio-economic development in Scandinavian countries.
With the development and progress of the era, digital construction has become an important topic for enterprise development in the new era. Practice has shown that by actively carrying out corresponding digital construction work, enterprises can more comprehensively and systematically analyze the industry development and market prospects, which helps to promote the reasonable adjustment
of internal and external management work modes and the improvement of management efficiency, and has a positive guiding role for the healthy development cycle of enterprises. In this article, the author combines a large amount of research cases to conduct research on the effect of digital construction on enterprise development in the new era and proposes corresponding optimization measures, hoping to further promote the full play of information technology value, in order to safeguard the development of enterprises.
