In Nigeria, deforestation has led to an unimaginable loss of genetic variation within tree populations. Regrettably, little is known about the genetic variation of many important indigenous timber species in Nigeria. More so, the specific tools to evaluate the genetic diversity of these timber species are scarce. Therefore, this study developed species-specific markers for Pterygota macrocarpa using state-of-the-art equipment. Leaf samples were collected from Akure Forest Reserve, Ondo State, Nigeria. DNA isolation, quantification, PCR amplification, gel electrophoresis, post-PCR purification, and sequencing were done following a standardized protocol. The melting temperatures (TM) of the DNA fragments range from 57.5 ℃to 60.1 ℃ for primers developed from the MatK gene and 58.7 ℃ to 60.5 ℃ for primers developed from the RuBisCo gene. The characteristics of the ten primers developed are within the range appropriate for genetic diversity assessment. These species-specific primers are therefore recommended for population evaluation of Pterygota macrocarpa in Nigeria.
The flipped classroom (FC) model has long brought significant benefits to higher education, secondary, and elementary education, particularly in improving the quality and effectiveness of learning. However, the implementation of FC model to support elementary students in developing self-learning skills (autonomous learning, independent study, self-directed learning) through technology still faces numerous challenges in Vietnam due to various influencing factors. Data for the study were collected through direct questionnaires and online surveys from 517 teachers at elementary schools in Da Nang, Vietnam. Based on SEM analysis, the study identified factors such as perceived usefulness, accessibility, desire, teaching style, and facilitating conditions. The research findings indicate that factors like the perceived effectiveness of the model, teaching style, and facilitating conditions have a positive correlation with the decision to adopt the FC model. Therefore, to encourage the use of the FC model in teaching, it is essential to raise awareness of the model’s effectiveness, improve teaching styles, and create favorable conditions for implementation.
The learning of English courses is not only a process for students to master language knowledge and skills, but also a process for improving students' comprehensive humanistic quality. The integration of moral education in English teaching can not only cultivate students' good study habits, improve the efficiency of English learning, but also help to cultivate students' excellent moral quality. Through the research on the organic integration strategy of primary school English teaching and moral education, this paper aims to provide an effective method for the effective integration of primary school English teaching and moral education, so as to promote the improvement of the level of primary school moral education and achieve the goal of building morality and cultivating people.
While the rapid development of artificial intelligence has affected people's daily lives, it has also brought huge challenges to high school mathematics teaching, such as restructuring the classroom teaching structure, transforming the role of teachers, and selecting classroom teaching methods. Based on this, the article explores the application strategies of AI technology in improving knowledge introduction, improving mathematics classroom efficiency and stimulating students' learning interest, with a view to optimizing classroom teaching links, improving students' core discipline quality, and promoting the development of high school mathematics teaching informatization.
This article examines migration as a complex social phenomenon using innovative pedagogical tools such as Story Maps and virtual ethnography. the study focuses on how these tools enhance the learning process by integrating Paulo Freire’s critical pedagogy. Original empirical data was collected from student feedback and reflective exercises, demonstrating enhanced critical thinking and engagement. The study also highlights the challenges posed by technological access inequalities, emphasizing the need for equitable solutions.
