A metaverse is an environment where humans interact socially and economically as avatars in cyberspace, which acts as a metaphor for the real world but without its physical or economic limitations. Many people use this new technology to connect with others, exchange content or discover new hobbies. Unlike other virtual worlds, the metaverse offers an online world that can be shaped. For the ports of the Spanish port system, it is intended to determine the new virtual port ecosystem that could be developed in the short term through an affinity diagram, which is a diagram that is used for the organization of ideas provided by a group on a complex problem that is held in a specific area, in this case reaching meta ports in the port system. The main conclusion is that to advance on this concept the new operating models and customers and services, are the blocks where the greatest efforts will have to be made.
With the development of teaching reform, how to optimize funding and education activities from the perspective of "Great Ideological and Political Education" and improve accuracy has become a focus. From the analysis of the current teaching development situation, the guiding role of ideological and political education in funding precision education activities has been very obvious. To better enhance the effectiveness of funding education, actively optimize the precision of funding education, and innovate the way related activities are carried out, which is an inevitable choice for better education work. Social media has become one of the primary sources of communication, information, entertainment, and learning for users. Children gain several benefits as social media helps them acquire formal and informal learning opportunities. This research also examined the effect of social media on formal and informal learning among school-level children in Ajman, United Arab Emirates (UAE), moderated by social integrative and personal integrative needs. Data was gathered by using structured questionnaires, which were distributed among a sample of 364 children. Results revealed that social media significantly affects Informal and formal learning among children, indicating its usefulness in child education and development. The results also indicated a significant moderation of social integrative needs on social media’s direct effect on informal learning, indicating the relevant needs as an important motivating factor. However, the moderation of personal integrative needs on social media’s direct effect on formal learning remained insignificant. Overall, this research highlighted the role of social media in providing learning opportunities for children in the UAE. It is concluded that children actively seek gratifications from social media, shaping their learning within structured educational contexts in their daily lives. Through the lens of UGT, certain needs play a critical role in strengthening the gratification process, affecting how children derive learning advantages from their interactions on social media platforms. Finally, implications and limitations are discussed accordingly.
There is a growing trend among elderly people to live alone and this trend is expected to increase in the future. Social isolation and limited support can have a negative impact on the physical and mental well-being of older adults. The increasing life expectancy and expanding geriatric population necessitate the development of innovative solutions to support their health, independence, and autonomy. This article addresses the key challenges and issues confronting the elderly and analyzes various IoT technologies and solutions proposed to enhance their lives. Smart home technologies improve the quality of life and enable older adults to live independently in their own homes while their adult children are at work. This article presents a smart home model for the elderly in Kazakhstan, based on their needs, concerns, and financial capabilities. The proposed prototype will be developed using an accessible, open-source intelligent system that includes health monitoring, medication adherence monitoring, alerting family members in case of falls or deteriorating health indicators, and video surveillance. Another advantage of this system is the automation of processes such as automatic lighting control, voice command functionality, home security, and climate control. Preliminary testing of the hardware model shows promising results, with plans for continuous improvement and evaluation as it is deployed. Key criteria for its implementation include affordability, accessibility, and feasibility. Based on Kazakhstan’s unique socio-cultural and economic context, this paper proposes a sophisticated smart home model tailored to the specific needs and financial capabilities of elderly Kazakhs.
In the context of big data, the teaching of financial accounting for vocational undergraduate students needs to be continuously optimized and innovated. This article provides a brief analysis of the current situation of financial accounting teaching for vocational undergraduate students. It also analyzes the phenomena of outdated teaching concepts, outdated teaching content, and unreasonable teaching objectives in the current teaching of financial accounting for vocational undergraduate students. It proposes the idea of innovating teaching concepts in current teaching work, clarifying teaching objectives, integrating flipped classroom reform teaching mode, and introducing project-based teaching method to improve teaching efficiency, so as to achieve more efficient teaching guidance for students.
